EastEnders schedule change to occur in summer on BBC One

Due to this, there won't be any room for EastEnders to air in the usual 7.30pm slot.
Instead, viewers will need to head over to BBC Two to get their usual fix of the soap.
On the week commencing June 30, EastEnders will only air on Monday and Tuesday.
However, it will broadcast two episodes in a row, therefore effectively broadcasting a week's worth of episodes in just two days.
As reported by The Metro, the storylines across those two days will involve Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) and Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) clashing, while Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) plots to catch someone out.
At the time of writing, no information has been revealed regarding whether the episodes will arrive on BBC iPlayer at the usual time of 6am or what the schedule will look like for the week commencing July 7.
EastEnders fans react to summer schedule change
A post shared on the r/EastEnders Reddit page shared the changes to the schedule for EastEnders.
Quite a few were wondering how this would impact the usual release of episodes on BBC iPlayer.
A person commented: "Will we get the 6am releases on iPlayer to be able to watch it at the usual time on the usual days?"
One replied: "Glad you asked this because I was wondering the same! Hopefully we still get 6am iPlayer releases but wonder if they'll be double bills on Monday and Tuesday, or the usual Monday-Thurs (which would mean terrestrial/schedule viewers would get the storylines before the iPlayer episodes drop…)
"Also the temptation to watch the doubles on Monday and Tuesday will be too much, but then what on earth do we do with ourselves for five days 🤣.
"I find Friday-Sunday weird enough without checking in on the Square lol, five days feels looong."

Another person said: "I don't understand why people complain when something is moved to accommodate something else, especially when it's just a channel change.
"In the world of streaming and catch up, there is absolutely no way someone can 'miss' it because it was moved.
"It really doesn't matter because all you have to do is instead of switching to bbc one, you just switch to bbc 2. It's better that than them not airing an episode or taking it off for Wimbledon."

'Influencer' who garnered more than 165,000 followers while 'enjoying Wimbledon' is revealed as an AI creation

She has 165,000 followers on Instagram and recently posted images showing her enjoying the tennis at Wimbledon. But the 'model' whose social media persona became an internet sensation at the championships was actually created by AI. The posts on Mia Zelu's Instagram page were so carefully curated that they hoodwinked more than 40,000 people into liking her pictures and leaving comments in the belief that she was real and at the tournament. With images of her on Centre Court or enjoying a Pimm's, even Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant was taken in. The 27-year-old was at Wimbledon but discovered the account he had liked was a fake one and quickly deleted all of his interactions with it. The online comments by Zelu, who embodied the quintessential Wimbledon look of summery dresses and golden tan, reflect the language used by actual Instagram influencers. In one she asks her followers: 'Which Wimbledon match was your fave?' Despite not actually being at the tournament, Zelu also remarked: 'Still not over the event... but the party's a whole other game.' Her creators, who remain anonymous, explain in a profile that she is an 'AI storyteller', adding she has a sister called 'Ana' with 266,000 followers on her account. Despite the clear indication that the account is not that of a real person, Zelu's followers still send her messages – including proposals of marriage.

Danny Dyer reveals he ran 'NAKED' through a council estate while filming new series of Mr. Bigstuff

is back in the buff in series two of Sky's Mr Bigstuff as he revealed he 'ran through a council estate naked'. The actor, 47, portrays geezer Lee, who rocks up to his brother Glen's carpet factory hoping for a new chapter, in the Sky series, which will return to screens on Thursday. Danny has now joked about striping off in 'broad daylight' and how he was worried about it being 'too cold'. Laughing, the former EastEnders star told The Sun: 'Ever run through a council estate naked? It's a whole new ball game, literally. 'I was concentrating on the weather, more than anything else, you know, that it wasn't too cold! It was broad daylight. I didn't go fully [nude], I had a little sock over my Hampton.' Danny said he didn't mind filming naked scenes as it was important to the storyline with his character chasing down a thug, who threw a brick through a window. The actor, 47, portrays geezer Lee, who rocks up to his brother Glen's carpet factory hoping for a new chapter, in the Sky series, which will return to screens on Thursday He added: 'You read this stuff, and you go, 'OK, I've got to physically do it'. But it's important to the show, it's a vital scene. You go, 'He's back'. It's the way of showing the alpha is back.' The show follows two estranged and rather contrasting brothers, Glen (Ryan Sampson) and Lee (Danny), as they discover that their father, who they thought was dead, is actually alive. It comes after Danny opened up about his daughter Dani Dyer's wedding to West Ham United footballer Jarrod Bowen, calling it 'the best day of his life'. The celebrity couple tied the knot in a 'Bridgerton-themed' wedding on May 31 at the plush £500-a-night Langley Hotel in Iver, Buckinghamshire. Dani wowed on the occasion in a £10,000 off-the-shoulder dress created by the award-winning wedding dress designer Suzanne Neville. Jarrod - who wiped away tears as Danny walked his daughter towards the alter - wore a three-piece black suit for the ceremony. Danny, a lifelong Hammers supporter, has regularly gushed about the fact his daughter's seeing his favourite footballer. And he amusingly told Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston on Heart Breakfast about that on Dani's wedding day he gave her away to the 'man of his dreams'. He said: 'Ever run through a council estate naked? I was concentrating on the weather, more than anything else, you know, that it wasn't too cold! It was broad daylight' Speaking about the wedding, he told the hosts: 'I was in pieces, darling. 'The best day of my life. Honestly, it was just so beautiful. 'I managed, you know, to give my daughter away to the man of my dreams - I don't think that's ever happened in the history of any father giving their daughter away! 'So it was the perfect day. Let me tell you that now, it was just beautiful.' It comes as Danny is reportedly teaming up with acting heavyweight Stephen Graham for a powerful new TV drama - and it's tipped to go head-to-head with 2025's biggest hit, Adolescence. The pair, who last worked together in the 2009 cult horror Doghouse, are in early talks to create a hard-hitting series tackling some of the toughest issues facing society today. A source told The Mirror: 'It's a gritty new drama. They are currently thrashing out what they want to do but it will be in the vein of Adolescence. Something unflinching and moving.' Adolescence, which starred Stephen and was co-created by him and writer Jack Thorne, has become Netflix 's most-watched series of the year. It sparked a national debate and was even discussed in Parliament over its depiction of teenage misogyny and online safety. The series, which follows a father whose teenage son is arrested for murder, hit No1 in 71 countries and clocked up a staggering 66.3 million views in just two weeks. After the shortlist for this year's Emmy awards was announced on Tuesday, it was revealed Adolescence received 13 nominations. Of those Emmy Award nominations, Owen Cooper who starred as Jamie Miller in the series has become one of the youngest nominees ever. He is up for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Anthology Series or Movie category at the Primetime. And at just 15-years-old the school boy will be the youngest-ever male winner in the 76-year history of the 'TV Oscars' if he scoops the accolade for his role in Adolescence. Danny, 47, has publicly praised Stephen's work on the globally successful series, saying: 'It's such an important subject, Steve. You've got to roll me into something. I want a bit of this.' Away from the cameras, it is reported the duo are also planning to reunite on a more personal level, organising a double date with wives Joanne Mas and Hannah Walters. MailOnline has contacted Danny and Stephen's representatives.

Debbie's public outburst leaves Corrie character in shock in new video

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) feels concerned in Coronation Street soon as Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) lashes out while at work. Beloved character Debbie was diagnosed with dementia earlier this year. For months, the only person who knew about her health secret was brother Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard). Debbie refused to tell anyone else about it, adamant that she could handle it on her own. This approach lasted until June. At Speed Daal, Debbie collapsed in front of her loved ones, who immediately told her she needed to go to hospital. Debbie said that wouldn't be needed as she already knows what's wrong. Determined to not be defined by her illness, Debbie is still working at her hotels. In upcoming episodes though, Ryan begins to wonder if this is still a wise idea. In this new video, Debbie and Ryan are at the reception desk faced with an angry woman, who claims she didn't sleep at all because of her allergies – and that is somehow the hotel's fault. As the woman starts filming, Debbie has no qualms about entertaining it and speaks to the camera, announcing that the hotel's duvets and pillows are hypo-allergenic for customers, but she does not have an ability to control the pollen count outside. Lacking in empathy, Debbie heads off, leaving Ryan concerned. In the scenes after this, Ryan steps in and manages to smooth the situation over, apologising to the guest and persuading her to delete the footage of Debbie's outburst. More Trending In response, Debbie grabs Ryan and kisses him full on the lips as her way of saying thank you. She obviously doesn't see anything inappropriate in what she's done. Ryan is shocked, but realises that both the outburst and the kiss could be caused by Debbie's dementia. He confides in Ronnie about what happened and tells him that he's worried about her. Ronnie is deeply concerned by what Ryan has told him. Later, Debbie is angry with Ryan, who tells her that he was simply looking out for her because he's a friend and he cares about her.
