Rajinikanth's Lal Salaam finally gets OTT release date
Sun NXT had announced that the sports drama will be released on their platform on the eve of Bakrid on June 6. The film, which was released in February 2024, was not received well commercially and had mixed reviews upon release.
The film was further mired in controversy following Aishwarya Rajinikanth's statement that a hard drive containing crucial scenes of the film went missing and they had to manage with the footage they had. "We were shocked as we lost 21 days of footage. It was a huge irresponsibility," she said in an interview after release.

"Jwala Stayed at Aamir Khan's Home For 10 Months During Her IVF Treatment": Vishnu Vishal
New Delhi: Aamir Khan jetted off to Hyderabad to name actor-producer Vishnu Vishal and Badminton player Jwala Gutta's daughter earlier this month. After sharing wholesome pictures from the ceremony, Vishnu Vishal revealed how the superstar helped them become parents and how they made sure that Aamir named their newborn daughter. What's Happening In a recent interview with Galatta Plus, Vishnu Vishal said Jwala almost gave up hope of becoming a mother as she had been struggling with her IVF treatments for last two years. After learning about it, Aamir hosted Jwala and her family at his Mumbai residence for 10 months. "Jwala and I were trying to have a baby for almost two years. Because she is 41, it wasn't happening, so we had to take a lot of IVF treatments, after 5-6 failed cycles, Jwala almost gave up. That time, Aamir sir was around, and when I shared it with him, he said, 'Stop everything and come to Mumbai. ' He took us to a doctor there, and for 10 months, he made sure that Jwala stayed with him at his place, with his family. Every time I travelled up and down, he would treat us like family. What he has done for us is a blessing," Vishnu Vishal recalled. "Eventually, after two to three IVF cycles, Jwala got pregnant, and that very time when we found out, I told Aamir sir that he is going to name the baby. If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have gotten Mira. That is also why Jwala was crying while she was speaking during the ceremony," Vishnu revealed why Aamir was called on for naming their daughter. Later, they were rescued by the fire and rescue department in Karapakkam in a boat. During the same interview, Vishnu Vishal also revealed that Aamir Khan and his team stayed at his place for two months when the actor's mother was diagnosed with cancer. Announcing Mira's Arrival Vishnu Vishal announced the baby's arrival on his fourth wedding anniversary (April 22). He shared a picture of his newborn's hands. In another picture, their elder son is seen visiting his sister. Sharing the pictures, Vishnu Vishal wrote, "We are blessed with a BABY GIRL.. Aryan is an elder brother now... Its our 4th wedding anniversary today... On the same day we welcome this gift from the all your love and blessings." In A Nutshell Vishnu Vishal recently revealed why Aamir Khan named their daughter. Oho Enthan Baby Movie Review: Interesting ideas marred by unearned resolutions
Let's keep aside love, and discuss heartbreaks. How you deal with a heartbreak and how you define it is very telling of what love means to you. The protagonist of Oho Enthan Baby, Ashwin (Rudra), in a scene, tells Meera (Mithila Palkar) that he remained single after suffering a heartbreak. And what is the heartbreak he is referring to? A lesbian college mate, for whom he had one-sided feelings, turned him down and confessed she liked his female friend. Krishnakumar Ramkumar's film is a hard sell as a romcom for these reasons. The film begins with Mysskin's (as himself) assistant director Ashwin getting an opportunity to pitch a story to Vishnu Vishal (as himself). The actor's witty assistant, King (Redin Kingsley), sends Ashwin back, saying that the actor is in a mood to act in a love story and not in the kind of story he has pitched. A dejected Ashwin leaves, only to realise halfway that he indeed has a love story – his own – and heads back to Vishnu's residence to narrate the story. What is Ashwin's love story? What is the self-discovery he makes while narrating it to Vishnu Vishal and where does this self-discovery lead him? These questions form the central plot of Oho Enthan Baby. Director: Krishnakumar Ramkumar Cast: Rudra, Mithila Palkar, Vishnu Vishal, Mysskin, Redin Kingsley To the film and the filmmaker's credit, the story had all the trappings of a coming-of-age romance with regular laughs. There are some useful ideas, such as not wanting to exploit one's own love story for the sake of becoming a director and the exploration of the anxiety attachment style. However, the film suffers from narrative paralysis. It meanders before reaching a particular point. You tend to agree with the resolution but are not convinced that the characters go through stuff sufficiently to be able to think the way they think and do things as a result.
