Clemente hit 240 homers from 1955-1972. He was 38 when he was killed on Dec. 31, 1972, in the crash of a plane he chartered to deliver emergency supplies for the survivors of an earthquake in Nicaragua. He was posthumously elected to the Hall of Fame in 1973.
Willie Stargell tops the Pirates' list with 475 homers and Ralph Kiner is next with 301.
McCutchen has 324 homers in a career in which he's also played for Philadelphia, Milwaukee, San Francisco and the New York Yankees.

Pakistan wins 3rd T20 by 13 runs to clinch a 2-1 series victory over West Indies
LAUDERHILL, Fla. (AP) — Saim Ayub posted a half-century in a 138-run opening stand with Sahibzada Farhan and then took a key wicket as Pakitsan beat West Indies by 13 runs Sunday to clinch the Twenty20 cricket series 2-1. Pakistan posted 189-4 and then bowled tightly enough to restrict West Indies to 176-6. Pakistan's opening partnership ended when Farhan was out for 74 runs in the 17th over, his 53-ball innings finishing when he hit a low full-toss from Shamar Joseph (1-57) directly to Shai Hope at long-off. Ayub continued until the last ball of the penultimate over of Pakistan's innings, when he hit a full ball from Jason Holder (1-34) to Sherfane Rutherford in the covers and was out for 66 from 49 deliveries. West Indies raced to 33-0 after two overs in reply, taking 16 off the first over from Hasan Ali and 17 in the second from Mohammad Nawaz. Haris Rauf slowed the run-rate in the third over, which only went for five runs, and then snared the first West Indies wicket when he had Jewel Andrew (24 from 15 deliveries) caught by Hasan Ali in the fifth over with the total at 44. Alick Athanaze scored 60 from 40 deliveries, sharing further partnerships of 30 with Hope (7) and 36 with Rutherford until he mis-timed a fuller, faster delivery from Ayub and was caught at short thirdman. At that point, West Indies slipped to 110-3 in the 13th over. Rutherford kept West Indies in the contest with 51 from 35 balls but his dismissal in the last over ended any chance of a comeback win. The series was tied 1-1 going into the decider after Jason Holder took four wickets and then smashed a boundary off the final ball of the second game to lift West Indies to a thrilling two-wicket victory on Saturday. It was the first T20 victory for West Indies in seven matches, a span that included a heavy 5-0 series defeat to Australia, on top of a test series sweep last month. Pakistan won the series-opener by 14 runs. Both teams travel to the Caribbean for a series of three one-day internationals. ___ AP cricket:

The Biggest News And Announcements From Gen Con 2025
Gen Con 2025 took place over the weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana. Tabletop fans gathered to play games, buy games, watch games be played and all sorts of other nerdy activities. While San Diego Comic Con is the most famous geek convention, Gen Con has grown into a vital part of Indiana's tourist industry. Besides all those activities, plenty of big announcements and releases come out of the show. There were too many for one article but I've collected the biggest ones with links for more information. Let's take a look at the news that shook Gen Con this year. Critical Role Announces New Campaign And New Game Master At Gen Con 2025 Critical Role took to the stage on August 2nd at the Fishers Event Center in Indianapolis. They showed off a live version of their hit release Daggerheart but more importantly, they announced the start date of their new campaign: October 2nd. White the announcement of the fourth campaign was expected, there was a huge twist. Longtime Dungeon Master Matt Mercer is moving over to the player side of the table. In his stead, Dimension 20's Brennan Lee Mulligan will be taking over the big chair. Dropout was quick to confirm that Mulligan will not be leaving Dimension 20 nor any of the other shows he's been doing for them. More details, like who will be joining Mercer as a player, will be announced in the lead-up to the new campaign. One of the big questions being debated by fans is whether this campaign will continue using Dungeons and Dragons as its system or if the show will want to highlight Daggerheart with a table full of actual play heavy hitters. FEATURED | Frase ByForbes™ Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder For those not in tune with the actual play scene, this amounts to a blockbuster trade in sports. On the pop culture side, this would be like James Gunn being announced as the director of the next Avengers while continuing his work at DC Studios. It's an exciting time for fans of Critical Role and Dimension 20. Starfinder Second Edition Drops At Gen Con 2025 Paizo released the newest edition of its space fantasy role playing game after a year's worth of playtesting. Starfinder Second Edition is now fully compatible with Pathfinder Second Edition. I can't wait for my players to get into space combat with a dragon. Starfinder embraces space opera in the style of media such as Star Wars or Guardians of the Galaxy. As part of the Pathfinder universe it blends magic and technology into all kinds of strange adventures. The storyline for the new edition has included some wild twists such as a giant eldritch horror hatching out of a planet like an egg. Speaking of adventures, the convention also saw Murder In Metal City arrive at the show. This boxed set doesn't just contain a mystery adventure but also the tokens, maps and handouts needed to drive the story forward. It's a great way to put the ned edition through its paces. Gen Con 2025 Role Playing Game Announcements Magpie Games announced Temeraire The Role Playing Game on Thursday. They've partnered with author Naomi Novik to bring her novels about an alternate history where dragons fight in the Napoleonic Wars to the tabletop. The game is expected to go to crowdfunding in 2026 and a full release in 2027. An adaptation of the Diablo video games is coming from Glass Cannon Unplugged. The game is being put together by RPG design heavyweights such as Joe LeFavi (Blade Runner), Przemysław Zub (Dying Light), Cam Banks (Marvel Heroic Roleplaying), John Harper (Blades in the Dark), Mike Olson (Fate), and Shawn Tomkin (Ironsworn). The Kickstarter hoping to launch this game looks to kick off later this year. Renegade Game Studios announced earlier in the week that an RPG based on Matt Dinniman's Dungeon Crawler Carl books is under development. The setting features humans fighting their way through alien dungeons for the amusement of an intergalactic game show. The first game is expected next year but it is unknown if it will up Essence20, like the recently released Welcome To Night Vale RPG, or an original system. The Cypher System, from Monte Cook Games is evolving with a focus on faster character generation and better corebook organization. A crowdfunding campaign will start soon with a projected delivery of the new books in 2026. Fans looking for more information on what's changing can find it here. Gen Con 2025 went by in a blur. It's The Best Four Days In Gaming but its influence expands far beyond the convention. I look forward to covering these games as additional information comes to light.

Las Culturistas Culture Awards, Plus 5 Things to Watch on TV This Week
Between streaming and cable, there is a seemingly endless variety of things to watch. Here is a selection of TV shows and specials that are airing or streaming this week, Aug. 4-10. Details and times are subject to change. It's all about the culture. Las Culturistas Culture Awards is not just any awards show — it's a cool awards show. Presented by Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers, who host a weekly podcast of the same name, this show features 100 categories, including but not limited to: Best Vibe, Hands Down (nominees: Japan, Seth Meyers and the Spirit Tunnel from 'The Jennifer Hudson Show'), the Canada Award for Canadian Delicacy (all-dressed chips, Alanis Morissette, Bowen Yang — Age 8) and the Cover Our Bases Award for Thing You Have to Admit Happened This Year (the 'It Ends With Us' legal battle, Karla Sofía Gascón on CNN, the time 'Adrien Brody spit his gum out at the Oscars, threw it to his date and Matt and Bowen were in the shot'). The show was taped in mid-July in Los Angeles with an audience that included Jamie Lee Curtis, Quinta Brunson and Jeff Goldblum. I'll be tuning in with bated breath to see who wins the Canada Award — my money is on all-dressed chips. Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Bravo and available to stream the next day on Peacock. Friendship, boarding schools and a time-traveling love story. At first glance, the IMDb page for the series 'Platonic' might look suspiciously like the one for the 2014 movie 'Neighbors' — after all, both have Nicholas Stoller as the director and star Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen. But the show, which is beginning its second season this week, has a completely different plot: Instead of the married couple they played in that film, Rogen and Byrne play two longtime and platonic best friends who reunite after a significant rift. Season 1 followed the two reconnecting and the destabilizing effect that had on both of their lives. The second season picks up with them navigating the hurdles of day-to-day life while trying to appropriately support each other. Aidy Bryant, Kyle Mooney and Beck Bennett join the cast this season as guest stars. Streaming Wednesday on Apple TV+. 'Wednesday,' the series about the daughter of Morticia and Gomez Addams, had a wildly successful first season and, according to the streamer, became the most streamed show on Netflix ever. Now the surly teen (played by Jenna Ortega) is back for a second season, set once again at Nevermore Academy, a high school for all kinds of fantastical outcasts. This time, she has a vision showing her roommate Enid (Emma Myers) dead — with Wednesday herself responsible. The second season will come out in two parts, with the first four episodes releasing this week and the next four on Sept. 3. Streaming Wednesday on Netflix. Want all of The Times? Subscribe.
