Tyra Banks reveals 'disgusting and erotic' obsession

Tyra Banks loves to pop other people's pimples.
The America's Next Top Model host - who is in a relationship with Louis Bélanger-Martin and has nine-year-old son York with former partner Erik Asla - admitted she also enjoys "picking" dirt from behind toenails and is happy to help most people with such issues, though she won't get too intimate with her extraction duties.
Speaking during her guest co-hosting stint on Today with Jenna and Friends, Tyra admitted to Jenna Bush Hager: "I like to pick. I like the toe, and if it has some stuff in it, I don't mind digging it out.
"But I have a kit. You have to have a kit. Some alcohol, you know. Some stuff!"
Jenna asked: "Who are you doing that to?
Tyra replied: "Anyone that wants it — my mom, my friends, my man, my son.
"And then, a pimple? If you had a pimple, I would be staring at you. I want it so bad — like, I just love it."
The 51-year-old model confessed her habit is an "addiction" and noted it is "disgusting and erotic at the same time" because "it touches those parts" of her.
She added: "You know what I'm talking about, people!"
Jenna then asked Tyra to clarify if there's anywhere she deems off limits.
She said: "Nether regions. I'm not picking up in those. If somebody's like, 'Oh, can you check this?' I'm like, 'No, that's where I draw the line.' Chest up and knees down? It's on. I'm not popping and picking nothing [outside of] there...
"God, I wish you had a pimple."
The SMiZE and DREAM founder went into further detail about her habit and insisted she doesn't even mind when the feet "stink".
To audible groans from the crew, she said: "Sometimes they stink. The toenail, because there's been stuff in there. The jam. The toe jam is up in the nail, and then you pick, and sometimes it's different colorus. Sometimes it's brown, sometimes it's green.
"Come on, you guys know this!"
Earlier in the week, Tyra revealed another of her gross habits - eating crumbs she finds in her bed.
She said on the show: 'I love to get in the bed with my mom and watch TV. We do ice cream in bed, popcorn in bed.
'But the great thing is that a couple days later… I clean crumbs by eating them, because if you put it in the trash, I'm like, 'You might get roaches or something.' So just clean it up with your finger and eat it.'
She admitted she does the same if she finds food debris on the floor, though she does have some limits.
She explained: 'A few days if it's not super perishable Like popcorn? C'mon. That's like astronaut food, it lasts forever. You just pick it up. I'm not joking.'

Tyra Banks makes shocking confession about ‘disgusting and erotic' addiction

Tyra Banks knows how to pick 'em. The supermodel revealed her 'disgusting and erotic' habit of popping pimples and picking dirt from other people's toes during Thursday's episode of US show Today With Jenna & Friends. 'I like to pick. I like the toe, and if it has some stuff in it, I don't mind digging it out,' Banks, who is co-hosting this week, told Jenna Bush Hager. 'But I have a kit. You have to have a kit. Some alcohol, you know. Some stuff!' When Bush Hager asked who she targets with these rituals, the America's Next Top Model alum admitted that anyone in her household is fair game, reports Page Six. 'Anyone that wants it — my mum, my friends, my man, my son,' Banks confessed, referencing her beau, Louis Bélanger-Martin. 'And then, a pimple? If you had a pimple, I would be staring at you.' Banks labelled her 'addiction' as 'disgusting and erotic at the same time,' explaining, 'It touches those parts of me.' However, the TV personality, 51, does have her limits. 'Nether regions. I'm not picking up in those,' Banks said. 'If somebody's like, 'Oh, can you check this?' I'm like, 'No … that's where I draw the line.' Chest up and knees down? It's on. I'm not popping and picking nothing [outside of] there.' The model further grossed out Bush Hager as she explained that her foot-focused obsession can get quite stinky at times. 'The toenail, because there's been stuff in there. The jam. The toe jam is up in the nail, and then you pick, and sometimes it's different colours. Sometimes it's brown, sometimes it's green,' she described. Banks has been romantically linked to Canadian businessman Bélanger-Martin since August 2018. In November 2019, we exclusively reported that the pair was taking the next step in their relationship by moving in together. 'Tyra and Louis live together but Louis always moves around a lot for business reasons,' an insider told us, adding that he and his ex-wife, Valérie Martin Scraire, have an apartment in England, a house in Barbados, and a home in Magog, Quebec. 'Louis also spends some time with his own child in England and around the world for business,' said the source. 'Tyra's child has his own room at Louis [and] Valerie's house in Magog and Tyra moved some of her stuff — clothes, jewellery — there too.'

Jenna Ortega finds life online 'very isolating'

Jenna Ortega finds life online "very isolating" and worries it's "harder to find a sense of self" in the age of social media. The Wednesday star, 22, is convinced many people "don't talk to each other in person" anymore and she thinks it has eroded their sense of community - insisting she likes the idea of life in the 1970s when there was no social media or cell phones. She told the BBC: "I wasn't around in the 70s, but I hear stories of people knocking on their neighbours' doors, and the bikes going all throughout the city, and just expecting to meet someone at a certain time on a certain location ... "[Today] people don't talk to each other in person. They're interacting and finding their community online, which can be very isolating. "Also, there are so many voices and so many opinions that you're exposed to, much more than you would typically be, or that humans are kind of meant to be exposed to. "So I think it's harder to find a sense of self. Young people are struggling to find: 'What makes my voice stand out? What is it about me in this world and this society today that gives me a sense of purpose or control or authority?'" Jenna went on to insist The Addams Family spin-off show - in which she plays Wednesday Addams - has an important message for the younger generation. She explained: "There's great comfort in seeing people who are so obviously themselves, freely, and place priority where it matters, and that's your family, that's who's in front of you, your special interests, that's your strength and your courage and your confidence in your voice. "It's very easy now to get swept up in some sort of sheep mentality, and I think it's so important for young people to see this family now more than ever." It comes after it was revealed Wednesday has been renewed for a third season. The hit Netflix show is set to return on August 6 for the first half of its second series, but a third run of episodes has already been announced. In a joint statement, showrunners Alfred Cough and Miles Millar said: "It's been a dark delight to watch Wednesday cast her spell over audiences across the globe — one deadpan quip at a time. "We're beyond thrilled she'll be returning to stalk the halls of Nevermore in Season 3. "This time, she'll unearth more of the school's sinister secrets — and descend even deeper into the Addams family crypt. Or, as Wednesday would say: 'Nothing brings a family together like a good exhumation.'"
