Kicking off today, Noukhthat Abu Dhabi is charting a course for adventure at the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club. Over 200 young sailors will dive into the world of traditional Emirati dhow sailing, think wind in your hair, heritage on the waves, and a summer filled with sea bound stories.
Running all summer long, this two month programme isn't just about learning to sail, it's about keeping UAE maritime tradition alive, one dhow at a time.

Look: Yas Waterworld unveils Bandit's Village with waterslide, 20 new rides
Yas Waterworld has officially launched its largest expansion to date — a brand-new immersive zone called Bandit's Village, featuring more than 20 new rides, slides and interactive attractions inspired by Arabian folklore. Visitors can enjoy the new rides starting today. The upgraded experience was unveiled during a spectacular night-time opening ceremony on Monday, where invited guests were led through a theatrical retelling of the park's legendary pearl and the mischievous bandits who sought to steal it. As visitors made their way through a cave-like tunnel shrouded in steam, performers in ancient-style garb recreated scenes evoking classic tales of Arabian nights. At the gateway to one of the new rides, a figure dressed as a traditional guardian declared: 'We will not allow you to take the pearl!' — setting the stage for a dramatic performance featuring bandits, glowing pearl dancers, holographic storytelling, and a laser show. One of the highlights included the bandits being dramatically sent down a slide ride through the gaping jaws of a giant crocodile-like creature. The new additions are part of the park's expanded narrative world, designed to offer longer hours and deeper engagement for guests throughout the summer.
