Ivanka Trump Steps Out in Strapless Tony Ward Gown for Bezos-Sánchez Wedding Celebration
Ivanka Trump opted for Tony Ward to attend the wedding of Lauren Sánchez and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos in Venice, Italy, on Friday. The daughter of U.S. President Donald Trump was photographed leaving the St. Regis Hotel, where she is staying throughout the three-day wedding celebration with her husband, Jared Kushner, wearing a coral pink gown from Ward's fall 2024 collection.
Ivanka Trump's strapless dress featured intricate silver beadwork that created swirling, floral-like patterns throughout the fabric. The dress featured a fitted bodice that flowed into a dramatic high-low silhouette, complete with a thigh-high slit on one side. The skirt had multiple layers of ruffled, cascading fabric that creates volume and movement, with a long train at the back. The entire dress was heavily embellished with beading. Kushner accompanied his wife in a navy blue suit with a black tie and a classic white button down shirt.

Tony Ward's fall 2024 couture collection debuted at Paris Couture Week in July 2024 and it was inspired by the mystical rebirth of nymphs, according to the brand. The collection featured ethereal designs adorned with shimmering embroideries, bold cutouts and holographic artistry.
Trump was one of the first guests to arrive in Venice for the star-studded wedding. She was seen in the Italian city on Tuesday, wearing a matching set from La DoubleJ for an outing with her family.

PARIS (AP) — Rei Kawakubo, the ever-restless force behind Comme des Garçons, delivered a characteristically unpredictable twist on men's tailoring, dismantling the traditional suit and remaking it in her own radical image. Titled 'Not Suits, But Suits,' the Paris Fashion Week show had models striding through a packed, overheated concrete venue Friday evening in looks that both nodded to and defied the idea of formalwear. Classic suit elements, jackets, lapels, pressed trousers, were reimagined with sharp, architectural interventions: bulging hips, layered or panniered silhouettes, and unexpected splashes of color. Some jackets appeared as if spliced apart and reassembled, while skinny pants revealed hidden panels and bursts of pattern through carefully placed zippers. Layering abounded, with cropped jackets stacked over pleated shirting, kilts and shorts. Knitwear was shredded and reconstructed, echoing a sense of disorder within the tailored frame. Accessories pushed the eccentricity further — models wore oversized, multi-brimmed caps crafted from suiting fabrics, paired with long braided wigs and formal shoes. The collection evoked the need for something transformative in unsettled times. Its atmosphere only heightened the collection's message: in Kawakubo's world, the suit is not a uniform of conformity but a canvas for disruption. As guests spilled out into the night, applause rang out for a designer who continues to turn fashion's certainties inside out.

Billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and former TV journalist Lauren Sánchez got married in Venice, Italy, on Friday, with a star-studded celebrity guest list joining them for the festivities. Sánchez posted a photo of the couple on Instagram, showing herself in a fitted wedding dress with a long train, high neck and lace sleeves, and Bezos in a classic black tuxedo, as their guests clapped. Wedding location details have been kept under wraps, but Italian newspapers and Venetian locals predicted it would take place at San Giorgio Maggiore, one of the Venetian islands, which is known for the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore. Bezos and Sanchez invited some 200 guests, according to media reports. At Bezos' Venetian Wedding: Buzz, Bling and Backlash
On Friday, Venice's canals filled with polished motorboats bearing Hollywood stars, millionaires and Khloé Kardashian in a cape of pink feathers as they headed to Jeff Bezos' wedding to Lauren Sánchez. On Saturday, it was the turn of dozens of public order police officers on foot, boats and water skis. A day after Ms. Sánchez took to Instagram on Friday night to introduce herself to the world as Lauren Sanchez-Bezos, wearing a lacy white mermaid dress, Venice braced for protesters who threatened to descend again on the city to voice their anger over the wedding — and armed conflict around the world. Despite his efforts to have a private if star-studded multimillion-dollar wedding in Venice, Mr. Bezos' wealth and powerful connections left the couple's thoroughly curated celebrations caught up in an intensely political and moral debate. From Venetian bars to British newspapers and even among Italian politicians in Rome, the wedding became a topic of conversation, focusing not on the bride's outfits, but on Mr. Bezos' businesses, money and friends.
