Eddie Hall reveals dream opponents for next fight after brutal 30 second KO of Mariusz Pudzianowski

The Sun29-04-2025
EDDIE HALL has revealed who he would like to fight next after knocking out Mariusz Pudzianowski in less than 30 seconds on his MMA debut.
The former World's Strongest Man champion, 37, made his pro-MMA debut on Saturday as KSW 105 in Poland, taking just 27 seconds beat fellow strongman champ Pudzianowski.

But despite decimating KSW icon Pudzianowski, Hall has no intention of becoming a standout in the Polish promotion's heavyweight division.
Instead he has revealed that he wants to "have fun", revealing what his ideal next opponent would be like.
He said: "Maybe Mariusz will do the rematch with two-minute rounds.
"I've got no aspirations to be number one in KSW. That's just not for me. I want to come and have fun.
"I want to fight my heroes. I want to fight the freaks of the world."
He went on to joke that he would find it "comical" to fight UFC icon Conor McGregor.
He said: "I would love to fight Conor McGregor. I think the weight difference would be absolutely comical.
"There is weight classes for that reason. It would be dangerous, on Conor's behalf."

Brit Hall certainly has the right people on his side if he does want to continue his career in MMA, having sought advice from a UFC champion.
The Beast, who shed 45kg from his usual 195kg weight for the fight, was helped by Tom Aspinall and his dad Andy in the build up to his breezy win over Pudzianowski.
Eddie Hall brutally wins MMA debut in 30 seconds as he crushes ex-strongman Mariusz Pudzianowski
Speaking after the win, he revealed: "I think Tom and Andy would be very happy with that performance.
"I've done little bits of training with Tom and, like I've said in the past, getting in the ring with Tom is very humbling.
"You think you can fight, you think you can wrestle and then you get in the ring with Tom and he just treats you like a little girl.
"Tom wished me best [of luck]. He messaged me this morning and said, 'Good luck with the fight, don't forget to enjoy it.'
"Being in their presence - Andy Aspinall, as well, is a phenomenal coach.
"Andy can explain something once and you'll watch it and you know what to do.
"So, you know, just those little few sessions of having Tom and Andy definitely paid dividends. They made a big difference."

Five-time Grand Slam champion Iga Swiatek is into the fourth round at Wimbledon after beating Danielle Collins, but it was her post-match interview that got people talking Iga Swiatek has admitted that her favourite meal risks upsetting her hosts at Wimbledon. The Polish star reached the fourth round at the Grand Slam by defeating Danielle Collins on Saturday – but it was her choice of food that raised eyebrows. Swiatek, a five-time Grand Slam champion, beat Collins 6-2, 6-3 in one hour and 15 minutes. She will play Clara Tauson in the next round at the All England Lawn Tennis Club after her dominant victory. ‌ And, speaking to the Centre Court crowd afterwards, she revealed a bizarre meal that has been fuelling her performances. Asked what she might eat to recover from the match, she told interviewer Annabel Croft: 'I don't know yet. For sure, not fish and chips, because it's too heavy. ‌ "But my team has been eating every day like a cheat meal, you know? And I'm just looking at them like 'guys, that's not helpful'. 'But I have my favourite actually. I ate it as a kid. It is pasta with strawberries.' After hearing the negative reaction from the spectators, she added: 'You should try it guys. Pasta with strawberries and a little bit of yoghurt. It is just great.' It clearly has been working for Swiatek, who has won four French Open titles and the US Open and is trying to beat her best run at Wimbledon, when she reached the quarter finals in 2023. But her different take on Wimbledon's iconic strawberries and cream sparked a huge reaction – and she joked it could cause a ban. She was asked about the revelation in her post-match press conference. 'Why is it such a big thing? Everybody should eat that,' she said. 'I think (it's a Polish dish). I think in summer kids are eating it a lot. I don't know. It's just a perfect mix of tastes, so… We have great strawberries in Poland, as well.' HAVE YOUR SAY! Would you try strawberry pasta? Comment below. ‌ Asked which country had better strawberries, Swiatek replied: 'Honestly, I think Poland. Because we have [a] better climate for strawberries, right? My dad adds cream. He adds that and some sugar. I try to eat with yogurt to at least pretend that it's a good meal. Pasta fits everything. But strawberries are the best one, I would say.' Doubling down on her opinion, Swiatek later uploaded a photo of the controversial meal, showing conchiglie pasta with cut up strawberries and yoghurt. 'Come in guyssss, this is a Polish speciality,' she said in the caption before conducting a poll to see whether her fans would try the dish.
