Spanning more than 2,300 sq ft, the apartment is priced at around Rs 35,000 per sq ft. In some luxury projects, prices have touched Rs 40,000 to Rs 45,000 per sq ft, and the highest so far has been Rs 56,000 per sq ft.'Despite the recent surge, Borivali remains more affordable than Mumbai's high-end areas like Pali Hill and Worli, where rates can exceed Rs 1 lakh and go up to Rs 2.84 lakh per sq ft, according to brokers.Borivali, along with neighbouring Goregaon, recorded property sales worth Rs 40,083 crore in FY25. According to media reports, this marks a 39% growth year-on-year, driven by a wave of redevelopment and increasing demand from both end-users and investors.The introduction of Metro Line 2A, improved access via the Western Express Highway, and the planned Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train terminal have all contributed to better connectivity, making Borivali more attractive to homebuyers.Borivali gets its name from the 'bor' bushes—known for their sweet berries, that once grew in abundance in the area. While US tech companies are still setting their vision for a robotic future, a China-based company is already on a mission to mainstream humanoid robots with a $5,900 model. In fact, Unitree Robotics' latest humanoid robot, called the R1, costs even less than the MG Comet EV. That's how serious the Chinese robotics firm seems to be about popularising the mass adoption of humanoid robots. In a video posted on the social media platform X, the R1 humanoid robot is seen performing a cartwheel, walking on its 'hands,' throwing a punch, lying down and then standing back up, and running down a hill, showcasing how advanced the humanoid robot is. The robot weighs around 25 kg, stands about four feet tall, and is equipped with a Large Multimodal Model to handle complex tasks. The R1 also features an ultra-wide view and a four-microphone array to help it recognize voices and images and supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. The R1 is the most affordable humanoid robot on the market. The Hangzhou-based unicorn, located in Zhejiang Province, had earlier launched two humanoids: the G1, which stands 130 cm tall and weighs 35 kg, and the H1, which stands 180 cm tall and weighs 47 kg. They are priced starting at 99,000 yuan ($13,838) and 650,000 yuan ($90,858), respectively. China has hundreds of robotics companies, unlike India, that are developing advanced humanoid robots and competing with US tech firms. While Unitree Robotics' humanoid robot costs just $5,900, the AI community Hugging Face last month unveiled a full-sized, open-source humanoid robot named HopeJR, priced at only $3,000. CarTrade Tech shares rally 9% to a record high after Q1 profit more than doubles
Shares of CarTrade Tech climbed as much as 9% on Monday, July 28, to a 52-week high of Rs 2,068.85 on the BSE after the company reported a sharp rise in quarterly profit and revenue, driven by growth across all key business segments and higher other income. Segment-wise growth The company's revenue is divided into three key verticals, namely Consumer, Remarketing, and Classifieds. In the April–June quarter, Consumer segment revenue stood at Rs 66.38 crore, Remarketing at Rs 59.40 crore, and Classifieds at Rs 48.14 crore. The total segment revenue was Rs 173.92 crore, with intersegment eliminations of Rs 0.88 income contribute meaningfully to the topline during the quarter, rising to Rs 25.46 crore from Rs 15.19 crore a year earlier. This included Rs 6.99 crore from interest on bank deposits, Rs 1.25 crore from gains on fair valuation or sale of financial assets, and Rs 0.40 crore in other interest a standalone basis, CarTrade Tech reported a profit before tax of Rs 29.41 crore and a profit of Rs 22.99 crore for the June quarter.
