The Beverly Hills estate was first listed for sale in June last year, weeks before Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's divorce filing in August.
Months after finalizing the divorce in the beginning of this year, ex couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck made a joint financial decision when they took their USD 68 million Beverly Hills mansion off the market. Despite ending their marriage, the former couple decided to remove the mansion from the market list after it failed to attract any buyers. The mansion, bought in May 2023, was put up for sale in June 2024.
The Beverly Hills estate was first listed last year in June, only a few weeks Lopez's divorce filing from Affleck in August. PEOPLE reported that the singer and the Argo actor were keen to sell the 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom property but after unsuccessful attempts, they took a joint decision to remove it from the market.
A source also told the portal, 'While they've been hoping to sell the property, they've also been hesitant to take a big loss." It added, 'They lowered the price to get more interest and when this didn't happen, they were advised to take it off the market. It was a business decision that they made together."
The unsuccessful attempts to sell Beverly Hills mansion involving Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck can be credited to the ongoing tough sellers' market. Before taking the mansion off the market, the former couple had dropped the selling price by USD 8.5 million, taking the price from USD 68 million to USD 59.5 million.
A real estate source shared with PEOPLE, 'Taking it off the market until it's more of a seller-friendly climate seems like the smartest decision."
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck bought the huge 38,000-square-foot home in May 2023. Worth USD 60.8 million, the estate comes with a 12-car garage, a 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse, a two-bedroom guardhouse, and a caretaker house. There are also some other luxury amenities, including a sports lounge, bar and a full gym.
After months of quiet separation, the duo finalised their divorce in January 2025. Post parting ways from each other, Lopez and Ben Affleck moved into new separate homes. While Lopez got herself a property worth USD 18 million in Los Angeles, Affleck purchased a USD 20.5 million mansion in the Pacific Palisades last July in order to stay near his children—Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 12.

How Travis Kelce Was Taylor Swift's ‘Anchor' in Emotional Six-Year Masters Battle

Taylor Swift's reclaiming of her original master recordings marked the emotional closure of a long, public battle, but what made it unforgettable was having Travis Kelce beside her. Six years after her catalog was sold without her consent, Swift bought back the rights to her first six albums in May 2025. Doing so while in a supportive, grounded relationship made the achievement even more personal. It was a 'turning point' in a relationship that's becoming more serious by the day. A career milestone meets personal stability Swift's acquisition of her first six albums meant the end of a nearly six-year battle that began when her original catalog was sold without her approval. According to People, close sources to the pop star described the milestone as 'emotional and empowering' for her, and noted she finally felt 'relieved' and at peace. But what elevated the moment, per the insider, was Kelce's presence. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end offered steady support through the emotional process and 'was honored to support her and he wouldn't have wanted it any other way.' A turning point for Taylor and Travis After wrapping the Eras Tour, the 14-time Grammy award winner has stepped back from the stage, opting instead for a slower-paced summer spent between New York, Nashville, and private getaways with Kelce. As the publication's source states, the downtime has allowed their relationship to grow in ways their previously hectic schedules never allowed. For the first time, Swift won't be juggling a world tour as the Derrick Thomas MVP heads into the NFL season—something insiders say will allow her to fully support him the way he's supported her. 'It's been a turning point for their relationship in a lot of ways,' says the source. With both facing focal moments in their careers, the foundation they're building together looks stronger than ever.

'Sinners' makers purchased costumes originally made for 'Blade' reboot

(Picture Courtesy: Facebook) Michael B Jordan's 'Sinners' gave audiences a sneak peek at Marvel's "Blade" reboot without the audience knowing. The producers of the movie revealed the costumes originally set for the 'Blade' reboot were repurposed for 'Sinners' after the production of the former movie hit a roadblock, reported Variety. During a recent interview with ScreenCrush, 'Sinners' producers Sev Ohanian shared that they bought the costumes from Marvel, which were originally intended for the reboot of 'Blade'. "[Costume designer] Ruth Carter was working on the Blade movie that ended up not shooting. At one point, that movie was going to deal with, and she's talked about this before, but at one point, that film was going to deal with the past around the same era as 'Sinners.' She happened to have a warehouse full of period-appropriate clothes, and it was like, 'Yo, we got to shoot this movie like tomorrow.' And Marvel was generous enough and kind enough to let us basically purchase it at price," said Sev Ohanian as quoted by Variety. Ohanian added that "a lot of the background actors" wore the clothes intended for "Blade" while the stars had original costumes, reported Variety. 'Sinners,' which debuted on April 18, is one of the major box office phenomena of 2025. An entirely original horror film went on to gross a staggering 364 million USD worldwide. It is currently the eighth highest-grossing film of 2025 and the only title in the top 10 not based on preexisting IP, according to Variety. As for Marvel's 'Blade', it was first announced in 2019 and has been in production limbo ever since. However, the film's star, Mahershala Ali, recently told Variety that he remains ready to step into the role of the daywalking vampire hunter.

Meet actor, who was thrown out of a film after 16 flops, then one movie changed his life, became superstar, his net worth is Rs 1,600 crore; He is...

Amitabh Bachchan's ascent to superstardom rarely happened. After being dropped from Duniya Ka Mela and watching 16 films fail at the box office, the industry had counted him out. But, as Raza Murad notes, 'When the luck was in his favour, everything fell in place.' A lost opportunity for legends Before Zanjeer, Prakash Mehra offered the film to titans like Dilip Kumar, Dharmendra, Dev Anand, and Rajkumar—all declined. The movie's heavy focus on one man scared them away. It took a recommendation from Jaya Bachchan (then Bhaduri) for Prakash Mehra to finally take a chance on Amitabh—and history was made. In his chat with The Filmy Charcha, Murad remained adamant: 'You need 90% luck to succeed in the industry.' The right script meets the right actor—it's rarely just hard work that gets the throne. Zanjeer's enduring legacy For those of you who don't know, Zanjeer was more than a career revival—it was a cultural shift. It introduced a gritty Vijay, an honest cop driven by his past. It also elevated the Salim-Javed duo into legend and cemented Pran's charismatic Sher Khan, especially with unforgettable lines like 'Yeh police station hai, tumhare baap ka ghar nahin.' Salim-Javed's writing paired with Mehra's direction created a masterpiece. A hero forged from desperation, Vijay's journey from haunted soul to righteous crusader resonated deeply. Sher Khan's legacy—in his Pathani attire and principled presence—left a permanent mark on popular culture. Zanjeer wasn't just Amitabh's resurgence—it was the moment Bollywood transformed. A showcase of how fate can pivot entire careers, this film still stands as proof that sometimes, success is born from surviving and seizing rare opportunities. Amitabh Bachchan's net worth According to several media reports, today, his estimated net worth stands at a staggering Rs 1,600 crore (USD 190 million approx), making him one of India's wealthiest film icons.
