The Chase's Darragh Ennis shares Harry Potter quiz 'only mega-fans' can solve
The Chase star Darragh Ennis regularly shares his own quizzes online, and one recent one was designed to challenge Harry Potter fans with some fiendishly difficult questions
If you reckon yourself a top-tier Harry Potter fan, then this quiz from The Chase sensation Darragh Ennis will surely test your magical mettle. Better known to fans as The Menace, the ITV quiz maestro usually spends his time thwarting hopefuls from bagging big money with his remarkable trivia talent.
Offscreen, the brainy chaser flexes his quiz muscles on TikTok, challenging users to match his knowledge through themed quizzes. Recently, he conjured up a set of particularly tricky questions aimed at Harry Potter enthusiasts, as he claimed that it would be nearly "impossible" for even the biggest fans to get every question right.
Darragh's latest challenge features five Potter-themed questions, cunningly crafted to escalate in difficulty as contestants progress through the quiz.
He declared that "most" people won't be able to answer all five questions correctly, but conceded that true "mega-fans" might just prove their wizardry levels by acing the test.
The five questions Darragh set were:
What is the address of the Dursleys?
At platform nine and three-quarters of what train station does Harry catch the Hogwarts Express?
Who is the landlady of the Three Broomsticks pub in Hogsmeade?
Who wrote the magical textbook, A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration?
Which character lived on a street called Spinners End?
For that first question, Darragh said won't be charmed by vague answers; he expects both the street name and house number for full marks.
He also gave a slight hint that the book, A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration, is one of the titles on Harry's book list for his first year at Hogwarts, so he would have picked it up while shopping for his supplies with Hagrid.
Do you reckon you've worked out all five answers? If you're still puzzling over them, don't scroll any further, because we're about to reveal the solutions.
Answers
Darragh unveiled the following answers in his clip:
No. 4 Privet Drive
King's Cross station in London
Madame Rosemerta
Emeric Switch
Professor Snape
The telly favourite pointed out that nailing Emeric Switch as the answer for the book author query was particularly "tough" and gave kudos to anyone who managed to crack it. He also clarified that Professor Snape lives at an address on Spinners End when he isn't at Hogwarts, making it a very niche question.
Viewers of the video didn't hesitate to boast or bemoan their quiz performance. Some bragged that the challenge was "so easy", while others confessed they were stumped by some of the more perplexing questions.
One viewer commented: "I got 4/5. Who remembers the authors of random textbooks?" Another said: "Every time I reread the books, I make sure I know who wrote every one of Harry's set books, just in case they come up in trivia, and it finally did!"

Arrests made after 'iconic' statues stolen from sprawling country mansion
Thieves broke into Grade II star-listed Ilford Manor in an overnight raid last Friday, where four classic statues, some of which had stood in the grounds for more than a century, were taken Two men have been arrested following the theft of four statues from a country house garden last Friday (June 20), with police urging antiques dealers to be on the lookout for some historic stolen goods. The Grade I-listed Ilford Manor, near Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, was targeted in an overnight raid. Four replica classic statues, some of which have been situated in the grounds for over a century, were stolen. Avon and Somerset officers revealed that a car with a police marker was pulled over in the Bristol area on Thursday evening. A 31-year-old and a 39-year-old were subsequently arrested. Both men, who reside outside of Wiltshire, have been released on conditional bail with orders not to enter the county. Ilford Manor, owned by William and Marianne Cartwright-Hignett, boasts gardens open to the public. The loss of their copy of the Capitoline She-Wolf has been particularly felt, reports Bristol Live. This bronze statue, which has "overlooked the valley for over 120 years", portrays a scene from the legend of the founding of Rome and was at the "heart" of the estate's peaceful setting. A pair of symmetrical fawns, replicas of the Villa Dei Papyri fawns, and a bust of Antinous were also tkaen. At the time of the theft, the estate - which has served as a filming location for the Secret Garden and ITV's Sanditon – was hosting a five-day jazz festival. In a statement published on their website, the estate said it was "still reeling from the theft". "This is a cultural loss for all of us," it added. "The gardens here have welcomed visitors since 1910 and now have 20,000 visitors from April to September who enjoy the tranquil and beautiful setting, of which the She-Wolf was the heart and in a setting made to showcase the statue. "We would love to see the statues returned to their rightful place for everyone to continue to enjoy for centuries to come." William Cartwright-Hignett, the managing partner of Iford Manor Estate, said at the time of the theft: 'We spent our whole lives and existences with our team trying to maintain, preserve and enhance this beautiful place for the benefit of all of our visitors and future visitors for the heritage. "It is devastating to see such iconic pieces which are very important to the design of the garden being stolen away in the night." According to Detective Inspector Penny Andrews: "We are continuing to appeal for anyone who knows anything about the stolen items or who saw anything suspicious leading up to the incident to come forward with information." She added that even the smallest detail could prove crucial: "No matter how insignificant you may think the information may be, it could be vital to assist our ongoing investigation." The police are also urging anyone working in antiques or auction houses to be vigilant for the stolen goods.

Adorable Dad's day in the life TikTok trend shows '50/50' parenting
TikTok's latest trend is a wholesome one this time, with father's sharing the behind-the-scenes moments of parenting in a series of candid clips - from 4am mornings to late night feeds Dads are taking over TikTok with this latest trend, showcasing the positive work these men do as parents, from when they wake up in the morning right up until their heads hit the pillow. Many viewers are praising the idea for showing these fathers in a positive light, as presentparents who are both active and enjoying raising their children. Making it all the more fun, the 'day in the life of a dad' videos are set against the 2009 throwback hit from the Black Eyed Peas, Imma Be. It sees the men starting off the video in the morning as they mime the lines "I'ma be on the next level", before moving on to the next line as they approach the next step in their routine. In one particular video, by the creator @Kidds_Dad, his typical dad day starts off at 4am, where he kicks off thinking of a 'wake up with baby'. The quick clip shows him working two different jobs in the day before playing with his child in the evening, before ending the day at 8:30pm for a 'movie date' with his wife. Viewers were quick to comment and praise his daily dad routine. One user shared: "This is what a good dad does! Parents, housework and provides. It should be 50/50! Comments like 'What does the mum do?' Errr…her 50% also! It's not just the mother's responsibility to parent or clean the house!" Another viewer added: "It's so nice to see a husband so involved and being a good dad and a supportive partner!" While someone else commented: "it's so nice to see a husband so involved and being a good dad and a supportive partner!" Well-known online dad Masonn Varney, who makes up part of The Varney Family on TikTok, took part in the trend and, as a result, racked up one million views. Starting off at 10am with a 'brunch date' with his daughter and ending at 7:30pm for 'face mask time' with his kids, the creator's video was hectic, to say the least. A viewer took to the comments to praise him for all the fun he's having with his children. They wrote: "Probably my favourite one yet! Your girls will remember this." In a standout addition to the trend, one dad showed the realities of feeding a newborn baby and timing his bottle feeds. The video received a lot of attention, making note of his feed times starting right at 4:30am and going on until 10:30pm that same day. An impressed user related to the 'day in the life' style video and commented: "My fiancé did the majority of the night feeds for the first 6 weeks so I could heal. And if I did get up and say, 'No, I'll feed him; you sleep,' he would still get up and make the bottle and get me a diaper before going back to bed. Teamwork makes the dream work!"
