SAVERS could be missing out on £2,212 in unclaimed cash - here is how you can track yours down.
Child Trust Funds are a type of tax free savings accounts, which were set up for every child born between September 2002 and January 2 2011.

The Government deposited £250 for every child born between that period or £500 if they came from a low income family.
When the child turned seven, an extra £250 or £500, depending on their families' economic status, was deposited.
In 2010, this was scaled back to £50 for better off households and £100 for those on a lower income.
The scheme was eventually axed in 2011, was later replaced with Junior ISAs.
The money is usually invested into shares.
HMRC previously estimated that the average amount of savings tied up in each account is £2,212.
Youngsters can take control of these accounts at 16, but can not withdraw the cash until they are 18.
If you think you are entitled to a Child Trust Fund, you can track it down using a Government tool.
You can find this by searching for "find a Child Trust Fund" on GOV.UK.

You'll need to have a few personal details to hand to do the search, including your date of birth and National Insurance (NI) number.
Your NI number remains the same for your entire life. It's made up of two letters, six numbers and a final letter.
You can find this number on your payslips or by downloading the HMRC app, which can be downloaded on the Apple or Google Play Store.
When you're done filling this out, HMRC will then send you a letter revealing what company has your Child Trust Fund.
There are a number of third party groups offering to search for Child Trust Funds but it's worth noting that they will charge a fee so you might lose a chunk of your money.
Other ways you may have forgotten cash
And it is not just a Child Trust Fund that could have thousands squirrelled away.
Millions of workers have forgotten about old pensions from previous employers.
There are 3.3million lost pots worth a combined £31billion - up from 2.8million worth £26 billion two years ago, according to the Pensions Policy Institute.
An easy way to track the cash down is by using the Government's free Pension Tracing Service.
This can be found by visiting https://www.gov.uk/find-pension-contact-details.
You could then consolidate your pension and help boost your retirement by over £20,000.
You can also track down lost bank and building society accounts using free online tools.

You should get a response from providers within three months.
WHEN Carole Railton tried to track down a lost pension she found the adviser had shut up shop.
But three years ago the 73-year-old, who lives in Wapping, London, tracked down the lost cash and is now £2,500 a month richer.
In the late 1980s, Carole had been working for Xerox when a financial adviser persuaded her to switch from a company pension.
She, like thousands of others, had become a victim of pension mis-selling, where savers were lured into leaving gold-plated company pension schemes in favour of inferior self-funded personal pensions.
Carole, a body language expert, tried to track down her pension numerous times after leaving Xerox in the 1990s.
Eventually she got in touch with a financial adviser who managed to track down her lost pension.
Her lost fund was worth just over £200,000, which she used to buy an enhanced annuity which pays her £2,500 a month.

The company said underlying revenues in its civil aerospace arm grew by 17%, with growth of 20% in its power systems division. The London-listed business cheered the 'strong' performance in the face of 'an uncertain external environment, including continued supply chain challenges and tariffs'. It said Rolls-Royce is expecting to fully offset the impact of announced US tariffs through mitigating actions and is also monitoring the potential indirect impact of weaker economic growth and trade tensions. Rolls-Royce also highlighted 'some improvement' in its supply chain, resulting in improvement availability for finished parts, but recorded inflationary pressure in product costs. Tufan Erginbilgic, chief executive of the company said: 'Our multi-year transformation continues to deliver. Our actions led to strong first half year results, despite the challenges of the supply chain and tariffs. 'We are continuing to expand the earnings and cash potential of Rolls-Royce. 'A strong start to the year gives us confidence to raise our guidance for 2025.' Rolls-Royce shares were 9% higher at 1,077p on Thursday morning.

People looking to borrow digitally could be at risk of bypassing important information if lenders' online and in-app processes are not designed well enough, the regulator has said. Lenders are being encouraged by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to consider how their digital processes can help prospective borrowers understand what they are signing up for. The FCA has shared examples of good and poor practice with lenders. It found that some were using shorter, simplified language and providing 'explainer' videos that helped customer understanding. However, the design of some digital loan processes lacked 'positive friction', the regulator said. Even though some digital processes are designed to be quick, firms can consider the appropriate amount of friction required, the regulator said, so customers have the opportunity to read and understand the information provided. Firms may have access to data that indicates customers are advancing through applications too quickly and not accessing key information, features or help, the regulator said. Under the Consumer Duty, the FCA expects firms to understand the needs, characteristics and objectives of their customers, and this should inform how products are designed and how customers will interact with them. Firms can identify customers with characteristics of vulnerability and those requiring additional support through digital channels. They can also review the effectiveness of the support available, the regulator said. Alison Walters, director of consumer finance at the FCA, said: 'Online and app-based applications can make it easier for people to get the credit they need to navigate their financial lives. 'But poorly designed applications could mean people bypass important information. We're sharing examples of what works and what doesn't, so lenders can better support their customers.'

Next has significantly upgraded its annual sales and profit forecasts, attributing the stronger-than-expected performance to favourable weather and disruption faced by rival Marks & Spencer. The fashion and homewares retailer reported a 10.5 per cent surge in full-price sales for the second quarter to 26 July, contributing to a 10.9 per cent rise for the first half of the year. UK sales climbed 7.8 per cent in the second quarter, boosted by what the group described as "better than expected weather and trading disruption at a major competitor." M&S was forced to halt online trading for nearly two months from mid-April following a major cyber attack. Consequently, Next now anticipates full-year sales growth of 7.5 per cent and profits to increase by 9.3 per cent to £1.11 billion, an uplift from its earlier projections of 6 per cent sales growth and 6.8 per cent profit increase. The upgrade marks the group's third in just five months. But Next said it 'remains cautious for the second half', stressing that the improved outlook is for its international arm over the next six months. It said: 'In the UK, we believe we exceeded expectations in the second quarter as a result of better summer weather and trading disruption at a major competitor. 'We do not expect either of these factors to have a material effect in the second half, and so we are not increasing our guidance for UK sales in the second half.' It believes sales growth in the UK will slow sharply to 1.9 per cent as the jobs market starts to falter following the Government's move to hike National Insurance contributions for employers, at the same time as rising the minimum wage. Next said: 'We expect UK employment opportunities to continue to diminish as we enter the second half, with the effects of April's National Insurance changes continuing to filter through into the economy as the year progresses. 'We believe that this will increasingly dampen consumer spending as the year progresses.' But an online marketing push for its international arm is bearing fruit, helping drive sales 28.1 per cent higher in the first half and with growth of 19.4 per cent now expected in the final six months. The results come after Next announced late on Wednesday that it had bought Seraphine – the maternity fashion firm, whose clothes were worn by the Princess of Wales during her pregnancies – after it recently collapsed into administration. Next paid £600,000 for the brand and announced it was bringing back Seraphine's founder Cecile Reinaud as an adviser to help relaunch the fashion label.
