Yet the episodes, which generally clock in at under an hour long, will now come to an end. Welsh screen star Joanna took to her Instagram Stories to post an image of the pair promoting their show and the words: "Our lovely pod is ending and we want to hear from you about your favourite Off The Telly moments. The Sun has reached out to the BBC for comment and a spokesperson told us: 'What started as a six month project turned into more than a year of joyous TV chatter, and over 80 heart-warming episodes. "Though they both loved making the series, Natalie Cassidy and Joanna Page have very busy schedules and on the 21st May, the final episode of Off the Telly will be released on BBC Sounds. "Thank you to Nat and Jo for their warm recommendations and insider analysis, and to the whole team for keeping listeners in the loop with what to watch. "We look forward to working with Nat and Jo again soon!" AI deciphers hymn on 4,000-year-old clay tablet to unlock mystery of ancient city of Babylon

Beyond the city and its pastures, the hymn also reveals new details about the lives of women in Babylon BIBLICAL BREAKTHROUGH AI deciphers hymn on 4,000-year-old clay tablet to unlock mystery of ancient city of Babylon Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) AN ANCIENT hymn lost for 4,000 years on a Babylonian tablet has finally been deciphered using artificial intelligence (AI). Advances in technology made the discovery possible in a fraction of the time, according to a new study. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 5 Babylonian texts were composed in cuneiform, the oldest form of writing, on clay tablets Credit: Anmar A. Fadhil and Enrique Jiménez 5 Researchers believe children would have studied the hymn, which is comprised of 250 lines of text, at school Credit: Anmar A. Fadhil and Enrique Jiménez 5 Roughly 100 lines of the hymn's ending are still missing or mutilated, according to the study Credit: Anmar A. Fadhil and Enrique Jiménez Without AI, it would have taken decades to decode. The text, inscribed on an ancient tablet, is from Babylon, Mesopotamia - once the largest city in the world in 2000 BCE. Babylonian texts were composed in cuneiform, the oldest form of writing, on clay tablets. But they have only survived in fragments, meaning their messages are hard to decipher. After digitising a selection of ancient texts, researchers at the University of Baghdad and Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) of Munich, uncovered an ancient hymn they believe Babylon residents would have sung. "Using our AI-supported platform, we managed to identify 30 other manuscripts that belong to the rediscovered hymn—a process that would formerly have taken decades," said Enrique Jiménez, professor of Ancient Near Eastern Literatures at LMU's Institute of Assyriology. Although parts of these texts were missing, scholars were still able to completely decipher the hymn of praise. "It's a fascinating hymn that describes Babylon in all its majesty and gives insights into the lives of its inhabitants, male and female," added Jiménez. Researchers believe children would have studied the hymn, which is comprised of 250 lines of text, at school. Numerous copies of the hymn have been found inscribed on clay tablets from the era. "The hymn was copied by children at school. It's unusual that such a popular text in its day was unknown to us before now," said Jiménez. "It was written by a Babylonian who wanted to praise his city. "The author describes the buildings in the city, but also how the waters of the Euphrates bring the spring and green the fields. "This is all the more spectacular as surviving Mesopotamian literature is sparing in its descriptions of natural phenomena." Excerpt from the ancient hymn Here are some lines from the newly discovered hymn of praise: "The Euphrates is her river - established by wise lord Nudimmud - "It quenches the lea, saturates the canebrake, "Disgorges its waters into lagoon and sea, "Its fields burgeon with herbs and flowers, "Its meadows, in brilliant bloom, sprout barley, "From which, gathered, sheaves are stacked, "Herds and flocks lie on verdant pastures, "Wealth and splendour - what befit mankind - "Are bestowed, multiplied, and regally granted." The ruins of the ancient city of Babylon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are located some 85 km south of the Iraqi capital of Baghdad. Beyond the city and its pastures, the hymn also reveals new details about the lives of women in Babylon. Women had roles as priestesses, which were described as being particularly virtuous. They were praised in the hymn for their devotion and discretion. Priestesses were famously celibate, and were among the professions established to to keep the population's birth rate under control. Their "partners", mentioned in the hymn, are understood to be the gods they are devoted to. The hymn also offers insights into the melding of different cultures in the early urban society. For example, the inhabitants are described as being respectful to foreigners. While researchers have uncovered unprecedented detail about ancient Babylon, there are more secrets to uncover. Roughly 100 lines of the hymn's ending are still missing or mutilated, according to the study, so it is difficult to decipher what they might have contained. 5 Beyond the city and its pastures, the hymn also reveals new details about the lives of women in Babylon Credit: Anmar A. Tesco's £19 black dress offers 'Nobody's Child luxury' but for less

The supermarket's F&F dress could be easily mistaken for Nobody's Child Black Bandeau Drop Waist Midi Dress Tesco is selling a black dress that could easily be mistaken for one from a posh high-end label. The supermarket giant's F&F clothing range has become a hit with shoppers hunting for stylish fashion, footwear and accessories that won't break the bank. Fashion lovers who crave that luxury look without the hefty price tag will be chuffed to discover this 'expensive-looking' frock costs a mere fraction of its designer rival. Tesco 's F&F summer collection features this Strapless Midi Dress in Black for just £19.50. ‌ At first glance, it's nearly the same as Nobody's Child's pricier £69 Black Bandeau Drop Waist Midi Dress. Both dresses come in various sizes, boast handy pockets and sport a bandeau top, elasticated waist and A-line skirt, reports Glasgow Live. ‌ Tesco's online description reads: "Simple and stylish, this strapless dress is designed with a fitted bodice and a flowing skirt, perfect for all your summer plans. Complete with hidden side pockets for your small essentials, it's cut to a flattering midi length. Made with a ribbed finish and added stretch for a comfortable fit, the gathered waist adds a chic edge to this feminine style." Meanwhile, Nobody's Child describes its version: "Slip into this black bandeau dress. With a ribbed top and floaty skirt, she even has pockets." The brand adds: "Just slide on sandals and go." Whilst both options appear remarkably similar in length, silhouette, and shade, there are notable distinctions beyond the price tag. Tesco's top part of the dress is crafted from 95% polyester and 5% elastane, while the skirt comprises 87% viscose and 13% polyamide. Nobody's Child's pricier option justifies its cost through premium materials - 97% organic cotton paired with 3% elastane. Both garments are available for purchase online, though delivery charges will apply. Each dress can be popped in the washing machine, though tumble drying should be avoided. Tesco also stocks an ivory variant of the £19.50 Strapless Midi Dress, though it's currently unavailable online. Shoppers would be best to pop into their local F&F Tesco store for an in-person browse. ‌ F&F enthusiasts can also eye up the retailer's Square Neck Flared Sleeved Mini Dress in Gold for £19.50, which has been causing quite the social media sensation.
