'I think part of why this album has felt so freeing is because I've dove into my fear of love,' she told Rolling Stone recently about the record. 'It can sound trite, but I think the ability to love is so powerful and brave. It's a courageous thing, particularly if you've been hurt… It can be really hard to reprogram yourself, and I think I've finally been able to do that.'

White House Reacts After South Park Slams Donald Trump

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. The White House has responded after Wednesday night's South Park premiere dedicated the entire episode to attacking President Donald Trump. Trump White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers told Rolling Stone on Thursday morning, "The Left's hypocrisy truly has no end — for years they have come after South Park for what they labeled as 'offense' [sic] content, but suddenly they are praising the show. "Just like the creators of South Park, the Left has no authentic or original content, which is why their popularity continues to hit record lows. This show hasn't been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention. President Trump has delivered on more promises in just six months than any other president in our country's history — and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump's hot streak." Josh Hutcherson Wields Mask Mechanic in ‘Five Nights at Freddy's 2' Trailer

The fight for survival continues in Five Nights at Freddy's 2. The sequel, based on the popular video game, hits theaters on Dec. 5 with Josh Hutcherson returning as Mike Schmidt in the aftermath of a brutal supernatural showdown in the first film. In the latest Five Nights at Freddy's 2 trailer, Mike is a little more prepared, but there are only so many ways to get ready for a battle with possessed animatronics. The film picks up one year after the events at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza in 2023's Five Nights at Freddy's. 'The stories about what transpired there have been twisted into a campy local legend, inspiring the town's first-ever Fazfest,' a brief synopsis of the film reads. Vanessa Shelly (Elizabeth Lail) also returns, seemingly recovered from the coma she ended up in at the end of the previous film. Meanwhile, Mike's younger sister, Abby (Piper Rubio), still hasn't learned the truth about her unusual friends. 'There's no way that'll work,' he says in the clip before picking it up anyway. It's his only shot, and he can't afford to miss it. 'Anyone can survive five nights,' the tagline for the movie reads. 'This time, there will be no second chances.' Five Nights at Freddy's 2 will also star Theodus Crane, Matthew Lillard, Freddy Carter, Wayne Knight, McKenna Grace, and Skeet Ulrich. Emma Tammi will direct. 'As a narrative that pretends to plumb the dark absence of missing children, however, Five Nights at Freddy's is curiously inert, unwilling to get under your skin even as it grows dense with explanations of what's happening,' Rolling Stone wrote in a review of Five Nights at Freddy's. 'It's unfair to compare the menacing robot bear to Freddy Krueger, the iconic kid-killer who shares his name.' James Gunn Reveals The 1 Superman Scene He Nearly Cut After Audience Feedback

Never mind the casting of a brand new Superman, the decision to put him back in pants or tiresome complaints of the movie being 'woke', it's a scene within the film itself that appears to have sparked the most contention since its release. The new superhero blockbuster starring David Corenswet arrived earlier this month and marks the launch of a brand new era in the DC cinematic universe (DCU) from former Marvel director James Gunn. After a strong opening weekend (though some less favourable critics' reviews), the hype for the fresh instalment in the iconic superhero franchise is still going strong. But there was one important moment in the film that nearly didn't make the final cut, despite pretty much everyone's insistence that it should go. Speaking in a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the Guardians Of The Galaxy director revealed that the scene in which the Man Of Steel pauses to save a squirrel from a destructive monster proved to be one of the most divisive details in the whole movie. 'It was probably the second- or third-most hotly debated moment in the movie,' he explained, adding that they received strong test audience feedback from viewers who 'did not like the squirrel'. 'They're like, 'Why the fuck is he saving a squirrel? Why is he taking time out, saving a squirrel?' There was a cut where I cut it out and I'm like, 'I really miss the squirrel. He's gotta save the squirrel',' he added. The director added that there were some 'geographical' problems regarding where Superman ended up if he didn't fly over the squirrel. 'So I put the squirrel back in despite the protestations of some of my people on my crew,' he added. Of course, it's not just a silly throwaway moment – it shows Superman's empathy and kindness to another living creature. In a separate interview with The New York Times, James explained how he believed the debate came down to 'do you like squirrels or not?'. Meanwhile, another key detail caused huge debate even earlier in the filming process, as the filmmaker agonised over whether to have Superman in his iconic red pants again. According to an interview with Gizmodo last year, the Slither director said he 'screened tested with trunks and no trunks', before they ultimately decided on bringing Superman back to his retro look.
