Therefore, the Serie A runners-up will splash out around €6.5 million to secure his signature permanently.

Inter have until June 18 to activate the clause, but they've already made up their mind.
Zalewski proved a valuable asset toward the end of last season, especially after Federico Dimarco hit a rough patch.
Despite having Carlos Augusto as another backup option on the left flank, Inter will make the 23-year-old's move permanent.

On the other hand, Zalewski will try to get more minutes next term after mostly playing second fiddle to Dimarco in 2024/25.
However, it's worth noting that he gained a more prominent role toward the end of the campaign.

PSG Ready to Make Decision on Inter Milan, Man Utd-Linked Target

PSG have a major decision to make—and clubs like Inter Milan and Manchester United are keeping a close eye: Is Gianluigi Donnarumma still their long-term solution in goal? He's under contract through 2026, but interest from Europe's top clubs continues to build. Since arriving from AC Milan in 2021, Donnarumma has delivered in big moments—stepping up in shootouts and making crucial saves—but his time at PSG hasn't been without setbacks. Advertisement A costly mistake against Real Madrid in the 2022 Champions League remains a key talking point and has sparked ongoing questions about his ability to perform under pressure. Now, with PSG finally winning the Champions League, attention has turned to the club's next roster moves. Donnarumma has reclaimed the No. 1 role with a strong stretch of performances, but with his contract winding down, rival clubs are ready to act if PSG hesitate to commit to their goalkeeper long-term. What's the latest on PSG extending Gianluigi Donnarumma? Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images Le Parisien reports that a decision on whether Donnarumma will sign a contract extension with PSG is expected soon after the Club World Cup, as the goalkeeper's current deal ends in 2026. Advertisement According to a recent report from ESPN FC, Donnarumma wants to remain at PSG, even with interest from Manchester United and Inter Milan. Recently, Dominique Séverac said on L'Équipe du Soir that Lucas Chevalier would only join PSG if Donnarumma leaves the club. 'Donnarumma? As soon as he doesn't extend his contract, they'll go after another goalkeeper,' Séverac said. 'There's a 90 percent chance it'll be Chevalier. 'Chevalier will never come if Donnarumma is still there—he's not going to compete with him. He'll only come if he's assured of being the first-choice goalkeeper.'

Inter Milan Vice-President Confirms Interest In Teenage Parma Star: 'A Very Interesting Young Player, Let's See If There's A Chance' Inter Milan Vice-President Javier Zanetti admits that Parma defender Giovanni Leoni is 'a very interesting player' for the Nerazzurri. Zanetti spoke to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews. He suggested that Inter will 'see if there's a chance' to sign the 19-year-old this summer. Advertisement Inter Milan have been linked with Parma defender Giovanni Leoni in recent weeks. Reportedly, the 19-year-old is high on the Nerazzurri's shortlist of targets to bolster their defense. This would certainly fall in line with Inter's plan to focus more on young player. They are by all accounts aiming to lower their very high average age going into next season. However, Leoni will not come cheap. Reportedly, Parma wants as much as €40 million to sell the teenage defender after an outstanding first season at the club. Moreover, Inter are not without competition for Leoni's signature. Reportedly, city rivals AC Milan are particularly keen. As are Juventus, and potentially foreign clubs like Liverpool or Barcelona.
