Teacher Accused Of Molesting 16-Year-Old Student With Disability

SEREMBAN, July 6 (Bernama) – A 16-year-old female student with an intellectual disability has alleged that a teacher molested her at a school in Rembau on May 5.
Rembau police chief Supt Hasani Hussain said the student, who is enrolled in the Integrated Special Education Programme (PPKI), lodged a report at 5.15 pm yesterday, alleging she was molested by a 36-year-old male teacher around 10.40 am.
Initial investigations revealed the incident occurred after the student had completed a cross-country run and was experiencing leg pain.

KUALA LUMPUR, July 7 (Bernama) -- Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi expressed his condolences to the next of kin of the family of six who were found dead in a car in Sungai Korok near Jitra, Kedah today. Ahmad Zahid said the incident had a profound impact on all Malaysians, especially when it involved the entire family, including young children. 'I was heartbroken when I heard the news about the tragedy that befell a family of six who were found in a submerged vehicle in Sungai Korok, Alor Setar this morning. 'To the next of kin, I pray that you continue to be strong in facing this ordeal. Let's all pray that their souls will be placed among the faithful," he said in a Facebook post today. He also expressed his appreciation to the fire brigade, police, Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) and all parties who have worked hard in the search and rescue efforts since the incident was reported, and prayed that the identification and management of the remains would be facilitated. The mystery of the disappearance of the family of six since last Saturday was finally solved when the next of kin confirmed that the bodies found in the car in Sungai Korok were those of the family involved. KUALA LUMPUR, July 7 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has filed an application to forfeit over RM169 million in cash belonging to former prime minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. MACC, represented by the deputy public prosecutor as the applicant, filed the application at the Sessions Court here naming Ismail Sabri's former political secretary Datuk Mohammad Anuar Mohd Yunus and the former prime minister himself as first and second respondents. In the application, the commission is seeking a court order to forfeit cash seized from the first respondent for the Malaysian government, including RM14,772,150 in Malaysian currency; SGD6,132,350 in Singapore Dollars, USD1,461,400 in US Dollars, CHF 3 million in Swiss Francs, EUR12,164,150 in Euros, JPY363,000,000 in Japanese Yen, GBP50,250 in British Pound, NZD44,600 in New Zealand Dollars, AED34,750,000 in Emirati Dirham, and AUD352,850 in Australian Dollars.
