Kat issues Alfie a serious warning in EastEnders amid yet another Zoe twist
As viewers of the BBC One soap know, he's spent the last few weeks searching for his estranged step-daughter Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan), who fled London for Barcelona after telling him that she'd done something 'so bad' that her family would disown her.
Zoe and Kat haven't seen one another in years, and she was adamant that her mother play no part in her life. As a result, Alfie had to think quickly for an excuse to leave.
He first told his family that his brother Spencer (Christopher Parker) – who lives in Australia – was in turmoil, so had to rush off to be by his side.
Of course, it didn't take long for the truth to out and Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) was forced to say Alfie had suffered a cancer scare, and was in Spain trying to clear his head.
Stace's mum Jean (Gillian Wright) then began asking questions about what was going on, and yet another lie was created – that Alfie needed money to track down his own daughter Cherry, after her mum Hayley (Katie Jarvis) ended up in a bad way.
Kat got wind of what was being discussed, and saw red. She couldn't wait for Alfie to return so that she could confront him.
Back in Spain, Alfie thought that Kat knew about Zoe. While drunk, he poured his heart out and told her everything about what was going on in a voicemail message.
Arriving back in tonight's episode, he feared the worst. He was firstly surprised to learn that he was now landlord of The Queen Vic, with Kat making the purchase in his absence.
She put on a façade, making it seem like she was thrilled to have him home. But as he relished in the glory of getting away with his many, many fibs, Kat slung a bouquet of flowers around his head and drenched him in champagne.
Upstairs, Alfie assumed she'd listened to the voicemail. However, as their conversation progressed, it became clear that she still believed that he was trying to find Hayley and Cherry.
Kat – having calmed down – said that it would be wrong for her to dismiss his concerns about his daughter, and that if she ever found herself in that situation with Zoe she knew he'd feel similar.
But there was one condition. The lies stopped immediately.

But there was one big issue. She still hadn't listened to the voicemail from the night before, and despite Alfie's attempts to delete it, it was still there.
She headed out into Bridge Street for some privacy, with Stacey rushing after with an excuse to bring her back in. However, just as Kat pressed play on the incriminating voice note, she was mugged by a lad on an e-scooter.
Later, it transpired that this person was drug dealer Okie (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu), who then dropped the device off at Harry Mitchell's (Elijah Holloway) flat.

Wedding drama confirmed for another popular Coronation Street couple
We love a soap wedding, and in Coronation Street the wedding of Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) and Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) is the setting for another proposal – meaning another wedding will soon be on the way. Dev and Bernie's big day has been a bit of a rush job. Bernie insisted on bringing the wedding forward from Christmas, as was planned, to this week. This was so that she could use the wedding fund gifted to Dev by his aunt to help pay off the debts Aadi (Adam Hussain) had racked up while looking after the shop. So the wedding plans have been fairly hurried, but when the day itself arrives, there's a series of setbacks for Bernie. First of all her grandchildren, Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Chesney (Sam Aston)'s quads, all fall ill so they have to watch the wedding on live stream. Then Bernie forgets her locket, which contains a picture of her late son Paul (Peter Ash). Desperate to have Paul with her in some form on her wedding day, she heads home – just in time to disturb a burglar. Meanwhile the wedding guests have assembled in the bistro and are awaiting the bride's arrival. As Bernie gets later and later and the guests begin to get restless, Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) steps up, entertaining the crowd with a rendition of the old Grease classic Hopelessly Devoted To You. And, for an encore, she proposes to Ronnie (Vinta Morgan), much to the delight of the other guests. Ronnie and Debbie recently got back together again after he discovered that the reason she'd been pushing him away over the previous weeks was because she was trying to hide a diagnosis of dementia. She persuaded herself that it wasn't fair to Ronnie to expect him to cope with her illness and he'd be better off with someone else. More Trending Once Ronnie knew the truth he told her that he wanted to be by her side every step of the way. Debbie realised that he was sincere, and that he was prepared for whatever the future might bring. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Who's leaving Coronation Street? Sue Devaney has said that Debbie's story will continue well into 2027, so there's plenty of time for the fan-favourite couple to tie the knot, as Coronation Street seeks to portray the reality of a person diagnosed with dementia at a relatively young age and their journey with the illness. Meanwhile, for Bernie and Dev there's a further twist in store as Bernie makes it to the wedding ceremony and walks down the aisle with her son Kit (Jacob Roberts), only to dramatically collapse and have to be rushed to hospital. Emmerdale Dylan star reveals how 'stars aligned' on unexpected comeback story
Back in February Emmerdale viewers were stunned by a special episode which revealed what happened to April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) after she ran away from home. We saw her having a tough time living on the streets and in a squat, and how she was befriended by a young man called Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle), who was also living rough. When April returned to the village, Dylan later came looking for her. Desperate to protect his daughter, Marlon (Mark Charnock) tried to get rid of Dylan – who was battling drug addiction – by various means. Eventually Marlon agreed to pay for rehab for Dylan and the character left the village. Now he's back, and Fred Kettle told us what's in store for Dylan. 'I think Dylan's going to get introduced with a few new characters, including Ray (Joe Absolom),' he revealed. 'There's a bit of a County Lines idea there that we're going to do which has been really fun to play. It's Ray that actually helps him. He sort of takes him under his wing and helps him get away from drugs. 'I think Ray's trying to get him to gain a bit of trust. I feel like there's a little bit of a son father figure relationship going on. So Ray can gain trust to make Dylan deal drugs, basically.' Of course the main attraction of the village, as far as Dylan is concerned, is to see April again, as Fred explained. 'Their bond they had during that special episode, their time on the street, it was so special,' he said. 'They both helped each other get through really, really tough times. And when they parted, I feel like that's all Dylan would be able to think about, you know. So she's bound to be on his mind and he's bound to want to go back and see her.' These two things are quite contrasting, on the one hand dealing drugs for Ray and on the other trying to keep his life together for April. Fred said that Dylan knows that Ray is manipulating him but it's the best option he sees open to him: 'Dylan knows he's doing the wrong thing but it's more morally correct than what he was doing when he was back on the streets.' Whichever way the character goes, Fred is relishing the chance to explore the character some more. 'I feel like there's a few different routes it could go down and I'm willing to take any of them,' he said. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Who's leaving Coronation Street? Fred had some hints when he was previously at Emmerdale that the character of Dylan might have a future in the show, he revealed. More Trending 'I think before I finished there were definitely little talks happening. It was like, 'Oh you could come back.' I was like, 'Yeah I'd love to.' I think it's been perfect, really, because I've just finished college and two days later I was back on set filming. So it was ideal how that happened. I feel like the stars sort of aligned there.' He's looking forward to what's in store for his character. View More » 'It's going to be good. It's going to be a nice journey for a few different characters actually.
