As part of its ongoing efforts to promote community partnership and national belonging, the General Directorate of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing, under the Ministry of Interior, has distributed Ramadan baskets to families benefiting from the "Open Prisons" program across all governorates of Bahrain. This marks the third consecutive year of the initiative, carried out in coordination with beneficiaries of alternative sentencing.
The distribution of these baskets aligns with the Ministry's commitment to integrating alternative sentencing beneficiaries into society while fostering a sense of citizenship and reinforcing the core values of Islam, which emphasize generosity and compassion.
This initiative, an extension of Bahrain's deeply rooted culture of charitable work and humanitarian efforts, reflects the spirit of social solidarity, supports those in need, and alleviates financial burdens on underprivileged families. It stands as a testament to the noble values that define the Kingdom of Bahrain.
