Razer's new Kishi V3 controllers can fit up to a 13-inch iPad
The Kishi V3 Pro XL is seemingly designed for people who like to play games on the largest possible mobile canvas, but don't want to rely on touch controls or just pair a wireless pad. The two sides of the controller stretch out so wide that the V3 Pro XL is able to accommodate a 13-inch iPad Air or Pro, or compatible Android slate of similar proportions, morphing the tablet into a handheld console that makes the Switch 2 look decidedly miniature in comparison.
Take away the "XL" bit and the supersized controller offers the same functionality as the standard Kishi V3 Pro, which is built for USB-C phones and tablets up to 8 inches. Both controllers feature precise anti-drift TMR thumbsticks with swappable caps, dual mouse click-back buttons and claw grip bumpers, as well as Razer's Sensa HD haptics (not currently supported on iOS). Wired and remote play is possible on PC via the Razer Nexus launcher, and you get USB-C passthrough charging built in. There's a 3.5mm headphone jack too if you prefer wired audio.
Rounding out the refreshed lineup is the Kishi V3, which is designed for iPhone and Android handsets. Many of the Pro features trickle down to the streamlined option, including the full-size TMR sticks (without the swappable caps) and back buttons. The USB-C 'island' design of the controller makes it widely compatible with cases, so you don't need to yank yours off every time you want to play a game.
Whatever model you pick up, Razer will give you up to six free months of Apple Arcade, normally priced at $7 per month. Will that soften the blow of the prices for these controllers? Not really. The Kishi V3 costs $100, the V3 Pro is $150, and the V3 Pro XL comes in at a whopping $200, which seems extremely high for a controller add-on for your massive tablet. But if you've been looking for a controller for that very specific use case, Razer has you covered.

Vizio TVs will now be sold exclusively at Walmart — but they'll have a new name
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Vizio TVs are in line to become a private-label brand on Walmart store shelves by year's end, which means they'll exclusively be sold out of the retailer's two mega storefronts, including Walmart and Sam's Club. Bloomberg broke the news late last week after reviewing an internal company memo. Walmart will fold Vizio into its assortment of 90 other store brands, though it's unclear if it will be renamed onn, Walmart's already existing TV brand. Vizio's move into the private-label sector is in accordance with Walmart's $2.3B acquisition of the TV maker, officially sealed in December of last year. Cheap(er) Walmart TVs on the horizon It's no secret that some of the best Vizio TVs are also some of the best budget TVs on the market, and they're bound to get even cheaper as a Walmart private-label brand. Bloomberg's reporting provides no indication of pricing or the expected rollout date, except for a late 2025 timeframe. Various models, like the Vizio Quantum Pro and Vizio V-Series sets, are available to purchase at alternative retailers outside of Walmart, including Target and Amazon. But it's not just the physical TVs themselves that Walmart is after. Where other TV makers, like Hisense, TCL, and Sony, rely on Google TV or Roku OS, Vizio is a unicorn. It makes and runs its own TV interface, called Smartcast, which Walmart bet $2.3B on in its push into the TV shopping experience. So, while Walmart moves Vizio into a private-label brand, Vizio's Smartcast, which is already being integrated onto existing Walmart onn displays, will be the beating heart of the buyout's success. Increased advertising and shoppable TV experiences, wherein consumers purchase goods straight from their displays, will be the real breadwinners for Walmart. More ads and in-your-face shopping experiences might not be the most exciting turn of events, but at least this will inevitably lead to the advent of cheaper TVs from Walmart. Onn TVs, while some of the worst displays on the market, can cost as much as $90 to $300. With Vizio's performance gains, they'll be worth considering. Threads adds improved content performance metrics for creators
Threads is introducing enhanced metrics to help users better understand how their posts are performing and where their content is getting discovered, the company announced on Tuesday. Users can now see more detailed information in the platform's 'Insights' dashboard. When they navigate to the 'Interactions' section, they will see engagement by likes, replies, quotes, and reposts. The 'Followers' section shows follower growth with geographic data, including top cities and countries, and demographic information like age range and gender. In addition, users can see how their post performance has changed through a new chart that's designed to showcase trends in their content for a seven- to 90-day period. Since eligible Threads posts can be recommended to people on Instagram and Facebook, Threads will now let users see the places where people encounter their content. They can see the percentage of views each app drove for their posts. The Meta-owned platform says the updates are focused on helping creators build audiences, grow their presence, and understand what sorts of content resonates with their followers. The move comes as Threads is growing fast. Recent data from market intelligence provider Similarweb revealed that the platform is catching up to top competitor X in terms of mobile app users. In June 2025, Threads' mobile app for iOS and Android saw 115.1 million daily active users, representing 127.8% year-over-year growth. On the other hand, X reached 132 million daily actives, with its year-over-year growth declining by 15.2%. It makes sense for Threads to equip creators on its platform with additional tools to build out their presence on the social network as it continues to take on X and other competitors.
