Eagles' All-World cornerback Cooper DeJean makes his debut on the NFL's Top 100 list

After becoming a finalist for the NFL's Defensive Rookie of the Year award, Eagles all-world slot cornerback Cooper DeJean made his debut on the Top 100 list at No. 60
The Eagles drafted Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean in the first two rounds of last April's NFL draft, and the results were championship-worthy. Philadelphia was 2-2 entering the Week 5 bye, but lost one regular-season game after DeJean was inserted into the lineup in place of Avonte Maddox.
The Eagles defeated the Chiefs in Super Bowl 59, and finished the year with both Mitchell and DeJean being finalists for the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
With James Bradberry and Darius Slay departing, DeJean will have an even more critical role in Vic Fangio's defense this season, and he's spent the offseason working out with NFL Defensive Player of the Year Patrick Surtain.
After a dynamic rookie season, DeJean was just ranked No. 60 best in the NFL's Top 100 Players of 2025, becoming the first Eagle to make the list this year.
DeJean logged 51 tackles (38 solo) as a rookie, including 0.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and three fumble recoveries across 16 regular-season games in 2024. DeJean's biggest and best moment came in Super Bowl LIX against the Chiefs, when he picked off Patrick Mahomes for a 38-yard interception return for a touchdown on his birthday.

Cardinals training camp: With starters set, O-line depth has tight battle

The Cardinals have six lineman locked in for the roster. The other three or four roster spots are up for grabs. The Arizona Cardinals have a number of notable position battles as they have begun training camp. Some battles are for starting jobs, while others are for key reserve spots. A pair of positions believed to have key battles — right guard and "Mike" linebacker — seem to be set with new starters. Others, though, have intrigue. Cardinals training camp position battle: Offensive line depth The Cardinals have six offensive line spots locked in — their five projected starters and backup tackle Kelvin Beachum. Their starters are expected to be left tackle Paris Johnson, left guard Evan Brown, center Hjalte Froholdt, right guard Isaiah Adams and right tackle Jonah Williams. Beachum is locked in as the backup swing tackle. After that, there are three, maybe four, spots remaining for the 53-man roster. Only two spots will be for regularly being active on game day, meaning they need a backup center and then a backup guard, perhaps who can play guard and tackle. The Cardinals kept nine last season. The final spot was always inactive, so someone they want to keep on the roster. For the backup center, Jon Gaines held the job last season and probably is the favorite to have it again, but they also have Nick Leverett, Sincerer Haynesworth and rookie Hayden Conner who can play center, too. Leverett can literally play all over the line, although he is a stronger interior guy than tackle. Royce Newman and Jake Curhan were free agent additions. Newman has starting experience at guard. Curhan can play guard and tackle. They have tackle Christian Jones, a fifth-round pick last year, though he would be someone to fill spot No. 9, as well as undrafted rookie tackle Josh Fryar. McClendon Curtis is also an intriguing option for guard. So while the starting lineup is pretty set (barring the return of Will Hernandez, which would then push Adams into a locked-in backup guard role), the reserve linemen will be guys to watch in the preseason. Colts ink $100 million contract to protect Anthony Richardson's blind side

Whether he's on the move or in the pocket, Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson can't do it alone. He needs a reliable offensive line to anchor his offense. That's why the most recent signing by Indianapolis' front office is so important. The Colts signed OT Bernhard Raimann to a four-year, $100 million contract, Mike Garafolo reported on Monday night. The contract includes $60 million guaranteed makes him the sixth highest-paid tackle in the league tied with Lane Johnson and Laremy Tunsil. Who is Bernhard Raimann? Raimann, 27, was drafted in 2022 and has been a mainstay of the Colts' offense ever since. Most of his career he's protected Richardson (when healthy) and has paired with Quenton Nelson to fortify the left side of the line. Raimann has an interesting background. He grew up in Austria until he was a junior in high school when he came to Michigan as a transfer. He returned to Austria to serve in the military and then committed to play at Central Michigan when he completed his service. He was a tight end for his first couple seasons until he found success as a tackle. He was later drafted in the third round by Indianapolis. Beyond his backstory, Raimann is a solid piece for the Colts present and future. Indianapolis has not committed to Richardson or Daniel Jones as their starting quarterback, but this contract shows they are setting either one up for success.
