Time Out10-07-2025
It's shaping up to be a Lorde summer, with the alt-pop superstar dropping the tour announcement we've all been waiting for. Fresh off her incredible surprise set at Glastonbury, Lorde has confirmed the details for her Ultrasound World Tour, and you can bet it includes a show in Melbourne.
Lorde's 2026 homecoming visit will be her first time performing on New Zealand and Aussie soil since her 2023 Solar Power Tour. With a whole new album (the already-approaching-cult-status Virgin) now out in the open, we can't wait to hear 'What Was That', 'Favourite Daughter' and 'Clearblue' live for the first time. (Not to mention all her other hits.)
Keen? Here's everything you need to know about Lorde's Melbourne show.
When is the Lorde Melbourne show?
So far, Lorde has confirmed the details for just one Melbourne show – she's set to take over Rod Laver Arena on Saturday, February 21. If other artists of her calibre are anything to go by, we're pretty certain this won't be the only show – we'll keep you posted if and when additional dates are announced (and you can stay in the loop over here).
When do Lorde Melbourne tickets go on sale?
General release tickets go on sale at 2pm local time on Friday, July 18 via the Frontier Touring website.
Is there a Lorde pre-sale for her Melbourne show?
Absolutely. Presale for American Express Card Members goes live at 1pm on Tuesday, July 15, and presale for Frontier Members will go live at 2pm on Thursday, July 17.
How much are Lorde tickets?
Ticket prices haven't been confirmed, but we'd expect them to be priced at around $130 for C Reserve Seating, with VIP packages likely to stretch to upwards of $300. We'll keep you posted when more details are released.
Who is the support act for Lorde's Melbourne show?
The support acts for Lorde's Ultrasound World Tour are still under wraps, stay tuned for more info.
Where is Lorde's Australian and New Zealand tour?
Lorde's Ultrasound World Tour will kick off in her home country of New Zealand at Auckland's Spark Arena on Wednesday, February 11, followed by a show at Wolfbrook Arena in Christchurch on Friday, February 13.
The Aussie leg will kick off at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Monday, February 16, and she'll play a Sydney show at Qudos Bank Arena a few days later on Wednesday, February 18. After playing in Melbourne, she'll head to Perth's RAC Arena on Wednesday, February 25. Based on the gaps in that schedule, we've got a feeling more shows will be announced – here's hoping.

Australian influencers 'damage' historic Jacobite site

Brothers Stefan and Lachlan Lamble are aiming to raise £250,000 for Cancer Research UK by running the length of the UK – from John O'Groats to Land's End. With their mullet hairstyles, an in-your-face on-camera style, and what appears to be a preference for Union Jack shorts, the pair – collectively known as 'Lambros' – have amassed a huge social media following in the UK and worldwide. But one video during their challenge has drawn the ire of some in Scotland, with the brothers sharing a video filmed at Ruthven Barracks – a site of huge historical importance. READ MORE: Kate Forbes doesn't rule out return to politics after shock decision to stand down Situated near Badenoch in the Highlands, it is the best preserved of the four barracks built in 1719 after the 1715 Jacobite rising. The brother can be seen climbing and running on the barracks, as well as throwing stones off of it. One unimpressed Scot took to Reddit to post the video – which appears to have since been taken down – with the headline: 'Australian influencers damaging historic Jacobite era monument for clicks and likes'. Reddit users also widely commented their disapproval on the post on Reddit. 'As a fellow Aussie I definitely DO NOT condone this type of behaviour. Absolutely disgusting,' one user wrote. Another added: 'Honestly, I was up in Orkney a couple of summers ago and the way some people behaved around the standing stones you can get close to is insane.' A spokesperson for Historic Environment Scotland (HES) told The National that they are aware of the incident and are investigating. 'While we appreciate their wider fundraising activity is for a good cause, our historic sites should be treated respectfully and engaged with safely,' they said. 'This is to avoid irreparable damage to the sites themselves, whether deliberate or accidental, and to avoid endangering the safety and enjoyment of others.' The brothers have been approached for comment.

Peter Andre breaks down over vile stalker fears for daughter Princess in new show

Princess Andre, 18, confides in her devastated dad, Peter Andre, about the vile messages she been receiving online in her new reality show, The Princess Diaries Peter Andre admits he feels "physically sick" when his daughter Princess shows him one of the vile messages she's received since turning 18. The influencer, who is Pete's eldest daughter, makes the heartbreaking revelation in her new reality show, The Princess Diaries. ‌ Sitting on the sofa next to the Aussie singer - who reveals he was once stalked in a terrifying ordeal - Princess opens up about her life in the spotlight. Chatting candidly with her dad, she reveals she's been plagued with messages online, with some asking to see her feet- and one in which she is sickeningly told she is "finally legal now". ‌ Visibly shaken, Peter's face falls as his daughter says: "I've also received this..." Telling the camera that she doesn't want to show her dad the message, Princess points out that she also wants to be honest with the singer, who shares the teen with Katie Price. It comes after Katie Price worries fans with appearance in family photo after explaining weight loss. ‌ Handing Pete the phone, Princess looks worried as her dad says: "OMG. I feel physically sick, like in the pit of my stomach. I didn't know it was going to be that bad." Laughing awkwardly, Princess says: "I did tell you." With tears in his eyes, Pete says: "I hate it because you're my baby. How old is this dude? Where does he live?" Looking at her phone, Princess says: "I don't know, I don't know him. It doesn't have a name on there." Responding, Pete says: "Has it distressed you? Can't you get rid of it? "No," Princess says, adding: "That's life. That's social media." Continuing, Pete says: "Can't you make it private?" "No," Princess states, adding: "That's my job [to post things about her life online.]" ‌ Admitting she sees where her dad is coming from, Princess tells the camera she "makes money" by posting about her life online and if no-one sees her posts, "There is just no point". Conceding he should have been stricter with Princess by banning her from using social media when she was younger, Pete then opens up about his own stalker ordeal. Revealing someone threatened to kill him when he was on tour with Bobby Brown, he says: "More than 26 police officers came to the show and surrounded the building and it was because they thought the guy was going to try and kill me that night." ‌ "That's actually insane," says Princess, who later reveals she will only post a photo of herself after she's been somewhere so people won't know where she is as, she explains: "Both my mum and dad have experienced stalking."
