On Tuesday, June 3, TC Restaurant Group announced its plans to open a Nashville entertainment venue in Lower Broadway with the "Circles" singer, whose real name is Austin Post.
'We've created a space where everyone can come together and kick some ass. Nashville has really become a second home for me so I can't wait to invite y'all over to my house,' Malone, 29, said in a press release.
The venue will be 26,000 square feet and feature six bars, three stages, a full-service dining room and a rooftop, according to the release.
The venue will be located at 305 Broadway, which is currently under construction to "remaster the spaces, while preserving historical architecture." Once finished, the venue will be Broadway's largest floor footprint, per the release.
'Post Malone is one of the most influential and gravitational artists of our time, and we're thrilled to partner with him on this exciting concept,' Adam Hesler, President and CEO of TC Restaurant Group said.
'We're honored to work with someone as dynamic as he is and create a venue that embodies his spirit and brings a new experience to Nashville's Entertainment District. There's only one reason we would consider expanding our artist partnerships, and that is to have the ability to partner with someone of the caliber, innovation and authenticity of Post," he continued. "His talent and ability to transcend multiple genres is one of a kind, and we look forward to creating a venue that resonates with his global fan base.'
Malone is currently on the road for The Big Ass Stadium Tour with Jelly Roll.
On May 24, he brought out Allen Iverson, who inspired his 2015 breakout hit "White Iverson," at his show in Philadelphia for a performance of the track
Up next, Malone will perform in New York City on Wednesday, June 4 and Miami on Sunday, June 8.
Malone's tour is in support of his latest studio album F-1 Trillion, which he released in August. The album included his No. 1 single "I Had Some Help" with Morgan Wallen, as well as "Pour Me a Drink" with Blake Shelton, "Guy for That" with Luke Combs and "What Don't Belong to Me."
During an appearance on Apple Music's Today's Country Radio with Kelleigh Bannen in August, Malone opened up about how he was embraced by the country music community.
'It's really nice meeting people in Nashville that made me feel so welcome and new friends and kind of building new stuff,' he revealed before adding, 'and for once I'm not sad anymore. I'm happy, very happy.'

Will Smith References Chris Rock Oscars Slap In Freestyle

Let's face it: We'll be talking about Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars for the rest of our lives. The slap heard around the world has been discussed by all parties in the years since it happened. Will Smith addressed it directly four months after the incident — which resulted in a 10-year ban from attending the Oscars — took place. Chris has also addressed the slap several times, including in his 2023 Netflix special Selective Outrage. Meanwhile, Jada Pinkett Smith — who was previously separated from Will, and who was the butt of Chris' joke that caused the slap to begin with — has claimed that the slap actually made her want to recommit in "healing" the issues regarding their marriage. Now, if you've been following the general trajectory of popular culture this year, you probably know that Will has also made something of a comeback as a rapper. To wit: He recently appeared on Apple Music's Fire in the Booth series to drop a freestyle — and, wouldn't you know it, it sure sounds like he's talking about the damn slap in it. Don't take my word for it, though — judge for yourself from the following lyrics: 'If you talking crazy out your face up on the stage and disrespect me on the stage, expect me on the dish it out, cry foul when it's time to take it/ City full of real ones, wasn't raised to fake it." Hmm. Hmm! Do you think he could possibly be referring to anything else? If so, enlighten me in the comments.

Cardi B Finally Announces New Album ‘Am I the Drama?,' Shares Release Date and Cover Art

Cardi B has announced her long-awaited sophomore album, Am I the Drama?, by revealing its cover art and release date across social media. The follow-up to her Grammy-winning, four-times platinum debut 2018 album Invasion of Privacy has been hotly anticipated in the years since, often stoked by Cardi teasing a completed project herself. She was even hard at work on the album for a 2024 release when Rolling Stone shadowed her at studios last spring for the June cover story. However, she's now made it clear that the real thing is ready, sharing a pre-order link for an album due September 19. The cover art finds Cardi in a striking red body suit surrounded by ravens, with a one large one perched on her massively-heeled shoe. Per Apple Music, the album will have 23 songs, including 'WAP,' 'Up,' and her latest single 'Outside.' More from Rolling Stone Karol G, Cardi B, Lorde, and All the Songs You Need to Know This Week Cardi B Is Feisty and Ready for Summer on 'Outside' Cardi B Is Getting as Impatient as Her Fans While Waiting on Features to Finish New Album On Sunday, she teased the album announcement with a video of herself framed by fake black birds in a black gown, narrating in a voice over that, 'Seven years and the time has come. Seven years of love, life and loss. Seven years I gave them grace, but now, I give them hell. I learned power is not given, it's taken. I'm shedding feathers and no more tears. I'm not back, I'm beyond. I'm not your villain, I'm your karma. The time is here. The time is now.' She's been punctuating the posts with emojis of black birds and feathers, marking a new symbol for the rapper. Similarly, artists like Megan Thee Stallion and Doechii have defined their musical eras with animal avatars as well: leading up to the release of her self-titled third studio album, Megan was into snakes, and Doechii's imagery around her Grammy-winning mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal (which made her the first woman to win the Grammy for Best Rap album since Cardi won for Invasion of Privacy in 2019) has included tons of the swampland creatures. When Rolling Stone spoke to Cardi B about the forthcoming album last year, she was still looking to finalize an intro, at least three more songs, a title, features, and a rollout plan. At the time, she wanted the album to have a wide reach, but also reflect her many moods. 'I'm a different person every single day,' she said. 'When I'm in a good mood and I'm with my friends, [I'm] like, 'Damn, I want my shit to be played in this club.' But then I might be mad with my man, so it's like now I want to do this song. But then I want to do a pop record. I want to do my sing-y shit.' However, she was also balancing pressure from fans and critics, unrelenting travel, and a difficult family life while contemplating the future of her relationship with her now-estranged husband, Offset. She filed for divorce less than two months before she announced the birth of their third child last September. On June 20, Cardi released the raucous single 'Outside,' where she slams certain men and celebrates others, and promises to have a wild time. 'Well, let's go wrong for wrong/let's go lick for lick,' she raps. 'If I can handle that/ let me see you handle this.' Closer Look: Yung Lean's '256 GB' Book

Earlier this week,Yung Leanrevealed the imminent release of his first book. Entitled256 GB, the book compiles, you guessed it, 256 gigabytes of content from Lean's iPhone hard drive from 2014 through 2024 – selfies, screenshots, notes, and other candid images included. Totalling 574 images (and 594 pages from front to back), the book is divided into nine color-coded chapters, with each spanning about 50 or so pages: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, black, and white. Housed in a black bound casing complete with red embossed lettering and a matching silk ribbon, the book opens with a title page, on which Lean lists the different iPhone models he shot the contents of 256 GB on: 6, 8, X, and SE. The next page lists out the chapters in order, followed by an entire table of contents of each image included in the book; titles include 'F*ck You,' 'Holy Trinity,' 'Air Jordan 12' and 'Boy life in EU.' To close out, Lean leaves a note that reads: 'I buy a lot of phones and lose a lot of phones. I spend more time in hotels than in the places I live in. It feels like collecting these photographs and memories. I hope it will be a bigger photograph of my life and maybe bring some inspiration and love to some. This is what I try to do.' Take an exclusive closer look at some of the pages of 256 GB in the gallery above and get your hands on a copy while they're still available at Lean'sworldaffairswebsite.
