Firefighters are continuing to battle with the raging blazes in the western province of Izmir.
Wildfires in Kuyucak and Doganbey areas of the tourist hotspot were fanned overnight by winds reaching a devastating 25-30mph.
Four villages and two neighbourhoods were forced to evacuate, Forestry Minister Ibrahim Yumakli said.
122 fire engines, 74 water tankers and 84 heavy machines have been deployed alongside more than a thousand people who are desperately working to extinguish the flames, Yumakli added.

Three residents reportedly suffered from smoke inhalation but no fatalities were reported.
Shocking footage shows teams using tractors with water trailers and helicopters carrying water while smoke billows over hills marked with charred trees.
Adnan Menderes Airport was forced to temporarily close due to the raging wildfires, with some incoming planes forced to divert to other airports.
Extinguishing efforts prevented jets from taking off or landing at the airport on Sunday.

Flights scheduled to land at Adnan, which serves the popular holiday hotspot Izmir, were reportedly diverted amid the travel mayhem - with services only just returning to normal.
And hundreds were left stranded following the major disruption.

According to the airport's website, flights scheduled to depart on Sunday night will finally be taking off today - but disruptions and cancellations have already been announced.
One flight headed for London Stansted has endured a 20-hour delay, with other flights to European cities cancelled completely.

Turkey's Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunc said that 17 suspects linked to fires between June 26 and 28 had been detained.
But one suspect, a beekeeper according to local media, has been held for allegedly starting a fire with gasoline and is facing charges of "intentionally causing a forest fire," the Minister added.
Wildfires were also reported in Kahramanmaraş, Bursa, Sakarya, Bilecik, Gaziantep, Bolu and Manisa this week.
And while those in Sakarya and Manisa are now largely under control, Izmir remains a hotspot for the flames.

And local residents watched in horror as their homes were torched up and forestry continued to burn.
Aftermath photos showed scorched cars and buildings while firefighters worked desperately to fight the flames.
Foreign Minister Yumakli said: "Our heroes continue their relentless struggle against the flames under the toughest conditions, day and night, with all their might."

The exact cause of the fire is currently unknown.
But preliminary findings suggest the inferno may have been caused by a high-voltage power line.
The governor of the province, Süleyman Elban, cautioned the population yesterday to exercise extreme caution in the next few days.
He said low humidity and high temperatures would aggravate the risk of more fires.

I sold my house to spend 15 YEARS on never-ending-cruise about 600ft luxurious ship – I might never go home

The ship has a fascinating community of diverse residents, who enjoy free entertainment and a luxury deck GOLDEN YEARS I sold my house to spend 15 YEARS on never-ending-cruise about 600ft luxurious ship – I might never go home Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) AN ADVENTUROUS voyager has embarked on an extraordinary 15-year luxury cruise circumnavigating the globe - and admits she may never go back home. Sharon Lane, 77, is currently onboard the Villa Vie Odyssey - a mega 600ft vessel which is set to visit almost every holiday hotspot Earth has to offer. The ship has a jaw-dropping itinerary which includes 425 destinations across 147 countries - around 75 per cent of all nations on Earth. Residents will be taken on trips which have been broken down into different segments. One of the segments takes passengers across North America, while another will go across Japan and the Philippine Sea. Residents will also enjoy trips to the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand, North Asia, South Asia, South Europe and the Mediterranean, among others. This means cruisegoers on board the Odyssey are bound to encounter their dream holiday destinations across the planet as part of the breathtaking adventure. Passengers also have to pay monthly fees which start at $2,000 per person - but this includes free food and soft drinks, alcohol at dinner, Wi-Fi and medical visits. The huge fees also include 24/7 room service, weekly housekeeping and bi-weekly laundry - and Sharon sees this as a great bonus. The California woman stepped onto the cruise earlier this month, and is now part of the immense journey which will last a decade-and-a-half. She told CNN Travel: "I'm finally able to do what I've wanted to do for years." What happened on the Carnival Triumph 'poop cruise'- Netflix Trainwreck documentary explained- She spent her entire life savings to purchase her interior cabin - and said it was a good deal. The only other residential cruise ship on the planet currently at sea, The World, has a starting price of $2.5million - making Sharon's trip a relative bargain. Cruisegoers onboard the Villa Vie Odyssey can also experience free entertainment, which include singers, dancers and personal passenger performances, Sharon said. The ship also boasts a diverse range of community members. Villa Vie Residences' CEO Mikael Petterson said: 'We have a very diverse community including a Nobel Peace Prize winner, a White House chief of staff, an astronaut and many scientists and doctors onboard that share their knowledge and experiences.' And Sharon admitted she was enjoying mingling with the other residents. She said: 'There's very, very few, if any, people on the ship who are not lifelong travellers. 'When you're with a group of people that think like you, life gets easier.' The Odyssey usually stops in each port for two days, where passengers can go on optional shore trips for an additional fee. Throughout the 15-year journey, the ship will continually circle the globe, calling at various popular holiday locations throughout its voyage. Sharon said she is looking forward to seeing each stunning destination - but admitted she is most excited to spend time on the deck. Her windowless cabin will be solely for sleeping, while she enjoys holidaying and relaxing on the shore and on the ship's decadent exterior. The groundbreaking ship cam "technically" house 924 people, Petterson explained, but some cabins have been merged together, bringing the total amount of rooms to about 450. The CEO said: "Given the solo rate and that residents often travel away from the ship, we don't expect more than 500 residents onboard at any given time." Those who buy a long-term cabin on the Odyssey can sell up if circumstances changes. But for now, Sharon is in it for the long haul, looking to live out the next 15 years at sea as part of her dream life. 'There's no end,' she says. 'Sure, in 15 years… but in 15 years, I'll be ready for a home… Or maybe, at the end, I'll go on their next ship… I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.' Sharon explained that being on deck is pure bliss, and her "happy place". She said: "Whenever the weather is good, I will be on that deck. "And when the weather isn't quite good, I'll bundle up and be on that deck, because that is my happy place. The traveller added: "You can stand there, you can sit there, you can chat with people, you can read a book. "You have the ocean breeze, you have sea air."

He's currently visiting various cities and towns as part of his 'A Manford All Seasons' string of shows. After travelling all day with his pal, he expected to have a rest at the Village Hotel in the coastal city. However, he took to social media in anger as he was forced to share a room with his pal as the hotel was overbooked. The post on X - formerly known as Twitter - read: "What's your minimum expectation when you book a room at @Villagehotelsup? "Staff were lovely but policy stinks!" He accompanied his angry message with a video rant as he made his way to his hotel room with his pal Steve, who may form part of the touring entourage. Ironically, his pal had the same name as his character in Waterloo Road where he played a corrupt headmaster. In the almost two minute video, he explained: "So we got to our hotel tonight in Bournemouth and it's fully booked. We were like, 'fine. So that's good, well done you'. They went, 'No, no, as in like without you'. So me and Steve, obviously [we're] in separate rooms. Hollywood legend and Brit TV star spotted munching on Greggs sausage rolls in UK car park And then we just discovered that basically if it's fully booked it means that, [you have to share]." Laughing out loud, he sarcastically joked: "I mean we spent all day together. Oh, well, at least we've got a nice view of the car park!" Before continuing: "Oh well, these things happen and all that. Worst things happen at sea. "But Village Hotel, just beware, if you are booking and it's a busy day in a busy city, you could, I mean, we're lucky that [our booking] was two rooms because that fella coming behind us. What's your minimum expectation when you book a room at Village Hotels? Staff were lovely but policy stinks! Jason Manford "A doctor as well and no room for him. He just had to walk out, and like and there's no rooms anywhere in Bournemouth tonight." Reprimanding the hotel in the video, he added: "Naughty that, naughty. "I've heard of aeroplanes doing it, but I've never known in 25 years of touring, a hotel doing it. That's not on, that is not on." He panned round the camera of his room, to show two single beds, as he remarked: "So we've managed to make best of our situation. "But that poor doctor, maybe we could get a little, I think he could sleep on the floor! "Yeah, he'll be alright. Anyway, good night." 5 The presenter and actor had travelled all day and was greeted with a nasty surprise Credit: Getty 5 Jason claimed that a doctor was turned away because the hotel was overbooked Credit: Getty

The Swiss castle from where the Lionesses will plot a route to Euros glory

The FA looked at 23 base camp options, before settling on a luxury hotel in Zurich. ITV News Midlands Correspondent Stacey Foster and Reporter Chloe Keedy have the story The turreted hotel that the Lionesses will call home, as they prepare to defend their European title, is certainly more swanky than previous England basecamps. When Manager Sarina Wiegman and her squad check into The Dolder Grand in Zurich on Monday, their names will be added in its guest book to those of Winston Churchill, the Rolling Stones and King Charles. The five-star resort, which stands on the wooded Adlisberg mountain overlooking Lake Zurich, and where rooms usually costs around £800 a night, is certainly a cut above the anonymous chain hotel selected by the FA during the last major tournament. Two years ago, before England lost to Spain in the final of the 2023 World Cup, the Lionesses had been sequestered on a quiet stretch of Australia's sunshine coast, in the town of Terrigal (population 12,000), where the players could stroll unbothered down the beach, notwithstanding the odd TV crew. Not that England are likely to have to put up with much in the way of unwanted attention in Zurich. When ITV News contacted The Dolder Grand asking for an interview with the manager, the hotel publicist quickly said ''yes'', which changed quicker still to a ''no'', due to ''confidentiality commitments during this particularly sensitive period". This is Switzerland after all. ''We're very confident we have found another basecamp that will meet all our needs,'' said Sarina Wiegman, when the Lionesses confirmed their hotel pick back in January - and it's not hard to see why. The FA recced 23 base camp options, before settling on the Dolder Grand, with its 4,000 square meter spa complex, Michelin star dining, and palatial rooms, for the 55 players and staff. England will train at the nearby Sportanlage Au, a less grandiose set-up, run by the local authority. Crucially, this sports club is just a 20 minute drive from the hotel. And with the Lionesses playing their first two Euro 2025 fixtures at Zurich's Stadion Letzigrund, and their last group stage tie against Wales just 50 miles along the road in St Gallen, there will be no need for the onerous flights the men's team took between their golf resort in central Germany and their matches at last year's Euros. Fittingly, the Lionesses' temporary home was rebuilt in 2004 by Norman Foster, the legendary British architect responsible for Wembley Stadium. Can their sumptuous Swiss surroundings help Wiegman's team replicate the triumph they achieved under that famous arch, three years ago?
