'You could hear it decelerating, and then it just smacked the tree,' Eddie Crispin, a local resident, told WSVN. 'The neighbour across the street had a fire extinguisher, another had a hose, and someone even arrived with an axe to break the window.

According to Fox News Digital, the national transportation safety board (NTSB) said in a statement that the plane was on approach to the airport when it crashed. The wreckage is now being moved to a secure facility in Jacksonville for further examination.
