Oasis reunion: Support act Cast takes to the stage as tour gets under way
Oasis's first support act Cast have dedicated one of their songs to Liverpool player Diogo Jota who died yesterday in a car crash.
The band, who are from Liverpool, played Walkaway for the 28-year-old forward, saying: "Take it easy, brother."
Jota and his brother Andre Silva both died in the crash in Zamora in northwestern Spain.
1990s nostalgia is in full flow

Cast are doing a great job of kicking things off, starting with their 1995 hit Sandstorm - and it is pretty loud in the stadium already.
Contemporaries of Oasis back in the day, they're used to the crowds their shows bring - but this one might be a little different...

Oasis's reunion tour is now under way
The show has officially begun with Britpop band Cast taking the stage to warm up the crowd.
The Liverpool-based group have a long history with Oasis, performing at one of their Knebworth Park shows in 1996, and supporting Liam Gallagher on his Definitely Maybe 30th anniversary tour last year.
Big in the 1990s, they had seven UK Top 10 singles, including Finetime, Alright and Sandstorm.

Cardiff has been celebrating the arrival of Oasis today with the city full of anticipation for tonight's show.
Murals have appeared, including one showing a post on X by Liam Gallagher talking about the Welsh capital.

'I thought it was all over - that's why we paid over the price'
Our culture and entertainment reporter Gemma Peplow has been catching up with fans as they wait outside Cardiff's Principality Stadium to open.
Jake Hereford, 28, from Rhondda, said: "I can't believe it to be honest. I thought it was all over. That's why we paid over price, we just couldn't believe it was happening."
Here's at the concert with his friends Charlie Thomas, 30, and Ross Jones, 29.
"My cousin introduced me to them and ever since I've been a massive fan. I've never seen them as Oasis but I've seen Noel live and seen Liam live and now this. I can't wait," Charlie said.
"They just remind me I want to Live Forever. It's cool how it works out, them coming to Cardiff," Ross added.
And the gates are open...
Excitement for tonight's show has been building all day and fans have been allowed to start filing into the Principality Stadium early - well, by about 10 minutes.
In around an hour, we're expecting the first act of the night, Cast.
They will be followed by Richard Ashcroft who will be the final star to perform before the Gallagher brothers reunite on stage.

The furore over dynamic pricing when the first tickets went on sale is all but forgotten outside the Principality Stadium today.
Merchandise stands outside have already sold out of some of the most popular items, such as the football shirts and long-sleeved tees.
The Oasis logo is everywhere you look from the backs of T-shirts to bucket hats.
A busker opposite the stadium is belting out Oasis hits - and a few from The Verve, too - and the city is buzzing with anticipation.

As the show comes to an end, here's her first reaction to the band's performance... "It was incredible. I'm not a massive Oasis fan but tonight they sounded absolutely brilliant. They sounded like they certainly aren't getting on [in age] in terms of their music. "Never before has the body language of two brothers been studied quite so intensely. They came on stage tonight holding hands. They played their hearts out, and the crowd absolutely sang their hearts out. "They have absolutely delivered value for money." She stops to speak to two fans, Anna and Andy, as they leave the show to get their thoughts. "Absolutely incredible, like the most authentic, pure thing I have ever seen. Timing a trip to the bar or going to the loo was hard because every song was amazing," Andy says. Anna adds: "As we were walking out, I heard someone say they would pay £10,000 to see them and I think that says it all." The briefest of hugs as the show comes to a close As the night comes to a close, Oasis pick Champagne Supernova as their final song of the night. Our culture and entertainment reporter Gemma Peplow says: "A giant blow-up champagne bottle, Supermarket Sweep style, is being passed around the crowd, which is just a mass of people singing back. "And there it is, at the end, as Noel puts his guitar down." Liam and Noel then share the briefest of hugs and that's it. On to the next show... Another flare has been lit in the crowd, and everyone is singing along. Noel urges the crowd to "sing it louder" and I think there are probably more than a few tears being shed. Wonderwall now, and Liam tells the crowd that "there are many things I would like to say to you, but I don't speak Welsh". "Right then, beautiful people, this is it", he says. "Nice one for putting up with us over the years." I think most people here would agree it's been worth it. Watch: Gallagher brothers walk out hand in hand After 16 years of feuding, fans were eagerly waiting to see how Liam and Noel Gallagher would take the stage for their first show. The brothers walked out hand in hand to an adoring crowd, before taking up their positions with guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs between them. Watch the moment below... Is that a wrap? The first show of the Oasis reunion tour appears to be over - or is it? They say they are performing their last song Rock n Roll Star, before leaving the stage, with Liam Gallagher throwing his tambourine into the crowd. With all the attention over the years on the Gallagher brothers and their feuds, some would perhaps be forgiven for forgetting Oasis has some other members too. While the sibling duo have been hogging much of the limelight tonight, the rest of the band have been playing no small part in ensuring it all sounds good. Why you can trust Sky News Oasis have reunited on stage for the first time in almost 16 years - with brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher sharing a high five and the briefest of hugs as they closed a performance that for fans was more than worth the wait. After the split in 2009, for many years Noel said he would never go back - and for a long time, as the brothers exchanged insults through separate interviews (and on social media, for Liam), it seemed pretty unlikely to ever happen. But now, here they are. As they walked out on stage at Cardiff's Principality Stadium, all eyes were on the Gallaghers for a sense of their relationship - dare we say it, friendship? - now after all these years. There was no reference to their fall-out or making up, but the gestures were there - lifting hands together as they walked out for the first time. Headlines and tweets of speculation and then confirmation of the reunion filled the screens as the show started. "This is happening," said one, repeatedly. In the end, it was all about the music. Liam has received criticism in the past for his voice not being what it once was during his solo or Beady Eye performances, but back on stage with his brother tonight he delivered exactly what fans would have hoped for - a raw, steely-eyed performance, snarling vocals, and the swagger that makes him arguably the greatest frontman of his day. This was Oasis sounding almost as good as they ever have. 2:56 They opened with Hello, because of course, "it's good to be back". And then Acquiesce, and those lyrics: "Because we need each other/ We believe in one another." The song is said to be about friendship in the wider sense, rather than their brotherly bond and sibling rivalry, but you can't help but feel like it means something here. Over two hours, they played favourite after favourite - including Morning Glory, Some Might Say, Cigarettes & Alcohol, Supersonic and Roll With It. In the mid-section, Liam takes his break for Noel to sing Talk Tonight, Half The World Away and Little By Little; the tempo slows but there is by no means a lull, with the fans singing all his words back to him. Liam returns for hits including Stand By Me, Slide Away, Whatever and Live Forever, before sending the crowd wild (or even wilder) with Rock And Roll Star. When the reunion announcement was made last summer, it quickly became overshadowed by the controversy of dynamic pricing causing prices to rocket. As he has done on X before, Liam addressed the issue on stage with a joke. "Was it worth the £4,000 you paid for the ticket?" he shouted at one point. "Yeah," the crowd shouts back; seemingly all is forgiven. After Rock And Roll Star, the dream that very quickly became a reality for this band, Noel introduced the rest of the group, calling Bonehead a "legend". Then he acknowledges all their young fans, some who maybe weren't even born when they split. "This one is for all the people in their 20s who've never seen us before, who've kept this shit going," he says before the encore starts with The Masterplan. The much-anticipated reunion gig saw Noel and Liam Gallagher share the stage for the first time in 16 years, but the event was marred by an incident in the crowd when one unwell fan required medical attention. A medical emergency unfolded amongst the audience, resulting in one individual being carried away on a stretcher. An eyewitness reported seeing a concert-goer being escorted out by medical personnel, with others making way for their exit. The woman requiring medical assistance was guided across the front of the stage in the pit area, right next to the barrier. This occurred during the band's performance of 'D'You Know What I Mean', just before they launched into 'Stand By Me'. This is the first Oasis gig in several years, following a well-publicised fallout between the Gallagher brothers. Now reunited, the band is preparing for a massive global tour, leaving fans thrilled to see them performing together again.
