Givens was selected by the Navy All-American Bowl Selection Committee, comprised of the All-American Bowl, 247Sports, and NXGN. Navy All-Americans are eligible for the Navy All-American Bowl Player of the Year Award, Anthony Muñoz Lineman of the Year Award, Navy All-American Bowl Defensive Player of the Year Award, Navy All-American Bowl Man of the Year, and Navy All-American Bowl Game MVP Award.
Only 100 football players receive the honor of wearing the Navy All-American Bowl jersey each year. The 2026 Navy All-American Bowl from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, will be presented live on NBC and Peacock.

The quiet part of the NBA offseason is just about here midway through July, but that doesn't mean teams are done making moves. In just the last couple of days, the Los Angeles Clippers obtained three-time All-Star guard Bradley Beal, whose contract had been bought out by the Phoenix Suns, and Damian Lillard, who tore his Achilles a couple of months ago during the playoffs, is returning to the Portland Trail Blazers. The Los Angeles Lakers would love to acquire a guard who would give them some effective point-of-attack defense, as well as some 3-point shooting. One player who is still available and seems to fit that description is Gary Payton II. Payton just switched his representation to Bill Duffy, who is the agent of Luka Doncic and Deandre Ayton. ClutchPoints insider Anthony Irwin claimed in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that Payton is "very much on the Lakers' radar." Payton, 32, has historically been a decent 3-point shooter, although his 3-point efficiency has fluctuated from season to season. He's mostly known for his defense as well as his athleticism, and he was a key role player for the Golden State Warriors when they won the NBA championship in 2022. He's the son of Hall of Famer Gary Payton, one of the greatest defensive players in the history of basketball. The elder Payton spent the 2003-04 season with the Lakers.
