"Israeli" settler attack kills one, injures five in West Bank town of Aqraba

At least one Palestinian was killed and five others wounded in an "Israeli" settler shooting attack on the town of Aqraba, located north of the occupied West Bank, according to Roya's correspondent.
A man in his thirties sustained critical injuries after being shot in the chest. Resuscitation efforts are currently underway as he is being transported to the hospital.
Two other young men, including a 24-year-old, were also wounded after being shot in the leg. They have been transferred to the hospital for treatment.
In a related incident, a 50-year-old man was shot in the hand and is also receiving medical care, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent.
This incident is part of a broader surge in "Israeli" settler violence across the occupied West Bank in recent months, drawing increased concern from international observers and humanitarian groups.

Al Jazeera confirmed the death of Yousef Al-Amer, a young man from Jenin refugee camp, who was shot and killed by Israeli forces near Qabatiya. His body was withheld by the military before the body of a second martyr was found in the same area. Israel's Channel 12 reported that the army killed a wanted Palestinian and arrested another near Qabatiya. Activists shared footage showing armed clashes around the besieged building. Arrests Israeli occupation forces also arrested three Palestinians, including an injured teenager, after raiding and searching their homes south of Bethlehem. Seven other Palestinians were arrested in Hebron after their homes were stormed, searched, and vandalized. Israeli forces additionally seized two Palestinian-owned vehicles in Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron. Troops also raided the city of Ramallah and several surrounding towns and villages, launching a campaign of home invasions and arrests. A Palestinian report published Sunday revealed that Israel has detained around 18,500 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of its war of extermination in Gaza on October 7, 2023. The West Bank continues to witness intense assaults by Israeli forces and settlers amid an ongoing military operation that has lasted for more than seven months in northern West Bank refugee camps.
