Varun Dhawan 'Likes' Post Trolling Aneet Padda, Stating 'Film Is Hit By Fluke, Can't Be A Heroine'?

The post also trolled the cast and crew of Saiyaara for hosting the film's success party in Singapore. Varun allegedly 'liked' it.
Varun Dhawan's alleged Instagram activity has caught everyone's attention. As per some social media posts, Varun Dhawan had allegedly 'liked' an Instagram video dissing Saiyaara star Aneet Padda for her latest public appearance. The video was posted by Kamaal R Khan, who slammed Aneet for 'pretending' to be shy in front of paparazzi after allegedly calling them to the airport herself. While many posts claim that Varun had 'liked' the video, it seems to have been removed now.
Kamaal said in the video, 'Film hit ho gayi hai toh Aneet ne drama karna shuru kar diya hai… Jab Aneet airport pe pohochi, toh wahan media wale khade the. Isne kaha mujhe bohot zyada sharam aa rahi hai, mujhe shoot na karein… Jab aapko sharam aati hai… aapne media walo ko paise deke wahan kyu bulaya?"
Why is Varun Dhawan liking a video against #AneetPadda Reddit caught Varun and screenshot it before he removes Like
Or is it because Varun was considered for #Saiyaara and Adi rejected him for younger actor?
The thing is Varun doesn't even follow KRK and yet he liked this… pic.twitter.com/PBBhNqjUK2

He also said, 'Yeh jo film hit hui hai na, voh ek tukka hai. Aapme ek bhi gunn nahi hai heroine banne ka, toh hawa main mat udo kyuki kitni jaldi aap zameen par girogi aapko pata bhi nahi chalega." Kamaal also trolled the cast and crew of Saiyaara for hosting the film's success party in Singapore after 'earning most of the money from India'.
Now why would someone who has spent over a decade in the industry be jealous from a newcomer, that too an actress who isn't even a threat to this guy in any way? pic.twitter.com/WJUaJfFm5M — Gaurav (@Sidian_G) July 31, 2025
now why is Varun liking a hate post against Aneet and that too on KRK's page 💀— 🌸 (@byebiech) July 31, 2025
However, what caught everyone's attention was that Varun Dhawan had allegedly 'liked' the post. Several screenshots are now circulating on social media, showing that Varun had 'liked' the video. However, News18 could not verify this as the alleged 'like' cannot be seen or seems to have been removed now. Varun's fans defended the actor and said that he might have accidentally reacted to the video.
Meanwhile, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's Saiyaara is showing no signs of slowing down. The romantic drama, directed by Mohit Suri, continues its triumphant box office run. Having crossed the Rs 200 crore mark in just nine days, Saiyaara is now eyeing the Rs 300 crore club—an impressive feat for a film led by newcomers.
The film, which was released on July 18, 2025, started modestly but quickly gained momentum thanks to strong word-of-mouth and a deeply emotional storyline. It follows the journey of Krish Kapoor, a struggling musician, and Vaani Batra, a soulful poet, as they navigate themes of love, loss, and healing. The chemistry between Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda has been widely praised, marking a successful debut for both actors.

Jung Jiwoo, BTS' J-Hope's sister calls out incessant questions about pregnancy: ‘Show some respect…'

Jung Jiwoo, YouTuber, business owner and fashion influencer, has had it with the constant speculation around her married life and plans to make it bigger. On August 4, the creator shared a new Instagram story on her account, calling out a netizen for their rude comment on one of her posts. She wondered why people were curious about her pregnancy, and even though she had never confirmed it, why they were blaming her and making it seem as if she had miscarried. Known to be the older sister of BTS ' J-Hope, she also appeared on the Netflix reality program The Influencer in 2024. Jung Jiwoo shuts down trolls enquiring about her pregnancy In a reply to the comment reading, 'Aren't you pregnant ? Or you lost the baby ? There is no bump and you are wearing tight clothes and doing exercise (tear emoji)', she seems to have lost her cool. Expressing anger about the seemingly never-ending questions about her plans for a baby, she called out the invasive question. She swiftly put an end to the debate sharing that she never said she was pregnant and had not lost any baby or gone drinking because of it unlike what the person in the comment claimed. Revealing why she decided to speak now, Jung Jiwoo opened up, 'I've been ignoring it 'cause it's so far from the truth, but it's getting out of hand. Show some respect, please.'

Kim Kardashian Shocks Fans With Amount She Gave Her Son Saint For Losing His First Tooth

Kim Kardashian surprised fans with the amount of money she gave her son, Saint, for losing his first tooth. The media personality took to her Instagram to share pictures of herself alongside her kids as they flaunted their teeth, and the blingy jewelry added to it. The first post of the carousel featured the mom of four and Saint, whose tooth was about to fall. Additionally, Kardashian' s other kids also made it to the social media post, showing off their pearl-white teeth. How much money did Kim Kardashian hand over to Saint? Showering love on her son, Saint, as a tooth fairy, Kim Kardashian presented him with a USD 2 bill, a Roblox gift card, and a handwritten note with glitter sprinkled over it. The letter went on to read, "Dear Saint, for your first tooth..." before the All's Fair actress signed it off as "The Tooth Fairy." As for her social media post, one of the pictures had Kardashian's daughter, Chicago, showing off her Hello Kitty gem installed on one of her teeth, while some of her other teeth had little studs applied. Another picture in the carousel had baby Psalm flaunting his adorable smile at the camera while being dressed in a tuxedo. In the caption of the post, Kardashian wrote, 'The tooth fairy has been good to us.' Meanwhile, Kim herself is quite fond of tooth jewels. Over the years, the SKIMS owner has stepped out flashing several studs and gems installed in her teeth. In 2021, the media personality got her birthstone engraved alongside other charms on her teeth. Moreover, she also sported a set of diamond grills and a diamond cross between her front two teeth. Previously, the actress-reality TV star's eldest daughter, North, flaunted her diamond grills on the TikTok account she shares with her mom.

5 of the most expensive outfits ever worn on screen by Bollywood actors

Bollywood has never shied away from grandeur, and when it comes to costumes, the price tags are just as dramatic as the performances themselves. From diamond-studded turbans to imported latex bodysuits, here's a look at some of the most expensive outfits ever worn by Indian actors on screen. Kareena Kapoor's look in Kambakkht Ishq became a talking point. The actor had worn a black dress, specially ordered from Paris by producer Sajid Nadiadwala, for the filming of the title song. According to reports, the dress cost Rs.800,000. Akshay Kumar's look in Singh Is Kinng was defined by his dazzling turban — quite literally. A real diamond was embedded in the pagdi, elevating the costume's total cost to ₹65 lakh. 'Akshay has been given a very special look for this movie. The pagdi would be the highlight of the look and would have a real diamond,' a source told Times of India at the time. Playing a mutant in Krrish 3, Kangana Ranaut wore custom-made latex bodysuits that were inspired by Hollywood icons like Batman and Lara Croft. 'All the material for Kangana's suits was imported from the same place (in France) where Angelina Jolie's latex suit (for Lara Croft Tomb Raider) came from. Rakesh (Roshan) didn't want to leave anything to chance,' an insider told Hindustan Times in 2013. Gavin Miguel, the designer behind the suits, added: 'We sourced the fabric from the same place where many Hollywood films get their material.' Each suit cost ₹10 lakh, and with 10 such costumes made, the total hit a staggering ₹1 crore. Authenticity was key in Padmaavat, and designer Rimple Narula spared no detail when creating Deepika Padukone's royal wedding lehenga. According to ANI, the lehenga cost ₹20 lakh and weighed 30 kilograms. The look took three hours to assemble each day and incorporated intricate traditional embroidery techniques such as Mukke ka Kaam, Salma Sitara, and Gokru Dunka. The result was a historically accurate and visually stunning piece of cinema fashion. When Shah Rukh Khan donned his superhero outfit in he wasn't just wearing special effects, he was wearing literal millions. 'It's a million dollar costume — that's four-and-a-half crore rupees per costume,' SRK told Hindustan Times in 2010. What's more? 'There's not just one costume, there are 20 such!' That pushes the total wardrobe cost for the film to ₹90 crore, making it one of the most expensive costume budgets in Bollywood history.
