Actor Sydney Sweeney has released a limited-edition soap made with water from her own bath, and some fans are in a real lather about the product, desperate to get their hands on it.
Sweeney, who starred in the first White Lotus series, partnered with natural body care brand Dr. Squatch to produce Sydney's Bathwater Bliss, priced at around $8 per bar. A promotion campaign is giving away 100 as competition prizes.
One keen customer wrote on Instagram: "Made with your actual bath water? Lol. That's awesome! ... Let's go @sydney_sweeney."
Not all fans have been impressed though, one saying: "Sydney honey I love you but I don't know about this." Another wrote: "Geez this is literally sad for humanity."
The collaboration is soaking up the comments section of Sweeney's Instagram posts. Excited male fans are drooling over the star, and offended feminists are concerned about her "stimulation of the male gaze" and "promotion of a female stereotype."
One user appeared to suggest the collaboration could have wider repercussions on gender issues, writing: "we're never making it out of the patriarchy."
While Sweeney voiced her excitement about this latest collaboration, she has previously spoken out about the way the world views her body.
She told Variety in March 2024: "People feel connected and free to be able to speak about me in whatever way they want, because they believe that I've signed my life away. That I'm not on a human level anymore, because I'm an actor. That these characters are for everybody else, but then me as Sydney is not for me anymore. It's this weird relationship that people have with me that I have no control or say over."
Sweeney, 27, is recently single, and has also featured in TV shows including Euphoria and Sharp Objects. Her movies, across a wide range of genres, include rom-com Anyone But You, horror movie Immaculate, and action film Madam Web.

Why Is Sydney Sweeney's Bathwater Being Used in Soap?
This collaboration is in response to fan curiosity sparked by a previous advertisement by Dr. Squatch, the men's natural products store. It features Sweeney soaking in a candlelit bathtub, and playful banter from fans about her bathwater, led to the creation of the unconventional product.
Dr Squatch wrote in an Instagram announcement: "In collaboration with Sydney Sweeney, we created a limited-edition soap infused with her ACTUAL bathwater. Why? Because y'all wouldn't stop asking. And Sydney said, 'Let's do it.' (what a legend)"
The actor is not the first person to commercialize her bathwater. In 2019, an adult content star, Belle Delphine, sold jars of hers for $43 a piece, according to a report by the New York Post.
When Will Sydney Sweeney's Soap Be Released
Sydney's Bathwater Bliss is set to launch on June 6, 2025, and there will be 100 winners in a competition to get a bar for free.
Each bar is crafted with natural ingredients, including exfoliating sand, shea butter, and a touch of Sweeney's bathwater, which Dr. Squatch's website said was "one of nature's finest aphrodisiacs."
It has a medium grit level, and the men's care brand said the bar smells like "morning wood," adding this included notes of pine, Douglas fir, and earthy moss.
How to Enter The Competition
Either follow Dr. Squatch's Instagram account and leave a comment, or you can fill out a form on its website. The product giveaway ends on June 4, and winners will be messaged or emailed from June 6.
Dr. Squatch said consumers would also be able to buy the product, although there is a very limited stock, reports saying only 5,000 bars have been made.
The men's care brand wrote: "But can I buy one?' Not yet … but we'll have a VERY limited stock when they do drop! Keep an eye out for an announcement."

Couple ‘romanticizes' economy flight with DIY luxury hack: ‘Manifesting getting sat next to you guys on my next flight'

Natalia Corso, an Emirates flight attendant, shared how she and her boyfriend turn their economy seats into a full-on 'luxury' experience — and the Internet was simultaneously jealous and irritated. 'Manifesting getting sat next to you guys on my next flight,' wrote one hopeful commenter. In a video that's now racked up over 28 million views, the part-time content creator filmed herself conjuring up espresso martinis on her Instagram account, @nataliacorso, seemingly out of thin air. Advertisement The 28-year-old pulled a plastic shaker and two martini glasses out of her bag, and quickly got to work. Corso added a few cups of ice, vodka, coffee liqueur, irish cream liqueur, and in-flight coffee, before shaking the life out of the concoction. 'It's not that serious,' one hater said, speaking for a small, but loud group in the comment section. Others were irked at the fact that this impromptu cocktail session happened from the middle seat, while some speculated the preposterous price tag on this flight-cap had to surpass $50 — for the shots alone. Advertisement Another commenter also expressed irritation at the video: 'People can't go anywhere without drinking,' they complained. 'If I'm trying to sleep and and you're shaking a martini I'mma be pissed,' warned one grumpy passenger. Some commenters found this in-flight ritual annoying, while others slammed the creator for bothering flight attendants with extra requests. fesenko – Though several viewers deemed the desperate DIY 'hack' illegal, Corso clarified in the comments that the alcohol pictured was 'all miniatures offered on the flight.' Advertisement The critics doubled down, and maintained that the content creator should have been more clear about where she obtained the alcohol from the get go — though, surely, one would assume a flight attendant would be hip to the familiar in-flight rules. 'It's a federal offense… You won't be able to romanticize economy from the no-fly list,' one reply said. Meanwhile, one espresso martini purist got huffy over Corso's mixology skills. 'Bailey's does not go in an espresso Martini,' they begged in the replies. 'Stop this madness everybody!!!' Advertisement Others were quietly impressed that she achieved a decent foam on the surface of the drink. Instagram / @nataliacorso While the bulk of the budget bartender's comments were gushing over how Corso offered a drink to the aisle seat passenger too, some Internet sleuths discovered that the girl was not, in fact a stranger. Some speculated that the third wheel, Valeria Mandelli, a fellow Emirates flight attendant, was her sister, while others thought she was just a friend. Either way, the video's virality opened up the in-flight floodgates, and the two have since made Cosmopolitans and Bloody Marys in economy seats. This burgeoning trend appears to be a continuation of another recent alcohol-in-airport phenomenon, when passengers were mixing their own espresso martinis while in the terminal, but this iteration seems to have drawn more ire. While some viewers slammed this as 'self-centered behavior,' the overwhelming majority were inspired, so the next time you're awoken from an in-flight nap by ice-shaking idiots, thank the Internet — and the Instagram algorithm.

Bad Bunny Seemingly Shades Kendall Jenner On Instagram

Bad Bunny blessed fans and brought all the summer vibes with a brand new set of Instagram photos on Monday night—but eagle-eyed followers caught a pic in his photo dump that might allude to his ex, Kendall Jenner. The second slide of his carousel included a forest green cap that reads, 'Don't date people who don't get your music.' Fans theorized that this was Kendall shade, as he mainly performs in Spanish, and English is her first language. It might be a reach, but the timing is interesting, as the pair broke up for a second time last year. ICYMI, KJ and BB first sparked dating rumors in February 2023 when DeuxMoi posted an anonymous tip that they played 'tonsil hockey' at an L.A. club. While they kept things low-key and never really hard-launched their relationship, they split in December 2023 before rekindling their romance again in April 2024. According to Us Weekly, they broke up for a second time in September of that same year, and have remained 'friendly' as they had 'taken a step back.' Elsewhere in his photo dump, Bad Bunny—whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio—dropped vibrant slides of flowers, sunsets, murals, breakfast, and, yes, a thirst trap or two. The Grammy-winner casually slid a snap of himself showing off his arm and thigh tattoos in the studio, and another OOTD shot of his white tee, red-and-white gingham shorts, and yellow shoulder bag. The rare social post comes after the PR native dropped the music video for his DeBÍ TiRAR Más FOToS track, 'NUEVAYoL' (which is a Spanish pronunciation of New York), on July 4. The visual seemingly takes a stand against President Donald Trump's anti-immigrant policies amid mass deportations and the passing of his 'Big, Beautiful Bill,' as a fake version of his voice bellows through the speakers of a vintage radio. 'I made a mistake. I want to apologize to the immigrants in America,' the fake Trump says, adding, 'I'm in the United States. I know America is the whole continent. I want to say that this country is nothing without the immigrants. This country is nothing without Mexicans, Dominicans, Puerto Ricans, Colombians, Venezuelans, Cubans...' Catch Benito's full video for 'NUEVAYoL,' below.
