John C. Reilly will bring his show ‘Mister Romantic' to Steppenwolf this fall
The Chicago-born, DePaul University-educated actor-singer will bring his vaudeville-style show 'Mister Romantic' to the famed theater in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood on Sept. 13-14. The booking is part of an ad hoc tour for the respected artist, who gained fame in such movies as 'Chicago,' 'Boogie Nights' and 'Magnolia.'
In 'Mister Romantic,' which plays in New York this week and heads to London in the fall, Reilly and his band perform American musical standards in what is described as 'an experience of love, laughter, and longing.'

" "Next day, I had my first open heart surgery," he continued, before revealing that he went on to have two more surgeries. Donnie's sister suffered a fatal heart attack during church service and his father died after experiencing a torn aorta, he told the Today Show. Following his surgeries, Donnie made a conscious decision to improve his health by eating better and in 2016, he bought a bicycle. "I said, 'Hey, I'm not going out like this.' I've gotta make a change," Donnie told the Today Show. "The scary part was I thought I was going to ride the bike home from the bike shop and I couldn't make it home," he recalled. Fan-favorite Krispy Kreme doughnut returns for one day only. Here's what to know
Krispy Kreme is bringing back a fan-favorite doughnut — but not for long. Chocolate glazed doughnuts return to the bakery case Monday, July 7, in time for World Chocolate Day, according to the Charlotte-based doughnut chain. The chocolately treat was offered last year, and is back for one day only. Chocolate lovers can find the doughnuts in-store, online and for pickup and delivery at participating Krispy Kreme shops nationwide. 'Krispy Kreme fans always anticipate we'll return our Chocolate Glazed doughnuts on World Chocolate Day, so this year we're making it extra special and extra chocolatey by adding HERSHEY'S to the glaze for the first time,' Dave Skena, chief growth officer for Krispy Kreme, said in a news release. Chocolate glazed doughnuts first hit menus in 2017 to 'celebrate the solar eclipse,' reported. It returned in 2018 to mark World Chocolate Day, and has been offered on and off since then.
