'Mujhe Dekho, Ye Nahi': Zareen Khan Snaps At Paps For Clicking Her From Behind
Zareen Khan snapped at paps for clicking her from behind. Recently, Gauahar Khan recently called out paps for inappropriate behavior towards Pragya Jaiswal.
Actor Zareen Khan, on Thursday, was clicked with her team in Mumbai. The Veer actor posed for pictures and had a friendly chat with paps. However, they continued to roll the camera even when she turned and walked away. Zareen turned back and snapped at them, asking them to look at her face and not click her from behind. This comes days after Gauahar Khan wrote to paps after actor Pragya Jaiswal expressed discomfort at being clicked from behind.
Zareen Khan's outfit of the day was all about summer vibes. She wore a lemon yellow chikankari kurta with denim. She left her hair open and paired her look with jhumkas. After exchanging pleasantries, she walked away, before turning towards paps again and saying: 'Mujhe dekho, ye nahi (Look at me, not here)", pointing towards her back. Watch the video here:
What was Gauahar Khan's note to paps?
Recently, Khel Khel Mein actor Pragya Jaiswal wore a black bodycon dress and posed for photographers at Zayed Khan's birthday bash. However, as she began to walk away, some members of the paparazzi could be heard hooting her name and making inappropriate noises, leaving her visibly uncomfortable.
Gauahar Khan, who is known for voicing her honest take on important issues, addressed the incident on Instagram, calling out the behaviour. She wrote, 'Aren't the paps encouraging eve-teasing culture? It's not the first time. There are a lot of them who are respectful, but there are also many who constantly make lewd comments. I think this needs to be called out. Lines can't be crossed."
Zareen Khan made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan
Back in 2010, Zareen Khan, who started her career as a makeup artist, bagged Veer with Salman Khan. Though it started off well, constant comparisons with Katrina Kaif became a downer in her career. Zareen once said that the criticisms impacted her so badly that there was a time when she would prefer to stay at home. 'There was a time I was even scared to step out of my house because people would comment on my clothes. That comparison went in a very negative way. I was given so many names, that at one point, I wanted to just sit at home. They all saw me as a failure," she said on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa's podcast.
The actress claimed that she even stopped getting work due to comparisons and struggled to pay her bills. 'I was not getting work for a very long time after Veer. Perception about me changed after the song 'Character Dheela' in Ready. That time, I was taking up whatever work was coming to me. I don't come from a wealthy household, I am the sole breadwinner of my house, so at that time, I wanted a job to run my home. Then Hate Story came, but it was a very weird time in my life," she added.
Zareen Khan was last seen in the 2021 movie Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele.

In an interview with Hindi Rush, she cited her many responsibilities at home, saying she couldn't imagine staying away for three months.
