Flair wrote: 'I am absolutely shocked to hear about the passing of my close friend Hulk Hogan! Hulk has been by my side since we started in the wrestling business. An incredible athlete, talent, friend, and father! Our friendship has meant the world to me.
'He was one of the first to visit me when I was in the hospital with a two per cent chance of living, and he prayed by my bedside. Hulk also lent me money when [my son] Reid was sick. Hulkster, no one will ever compare to you! Rest in peace, my friend!'

Former WWE CEO Vince McMahon said in a rare statement: 'The world lost a treasure today. Hulk Hogan was the greatest WWE superstar of all time, someone who was loved and admired around the world.
'He was a trailblazer, the first performer who transitioned from being a wrestling star into a global phenomenon. His grit and unbridled thirst for success were unparalleled and made him the consummate performer. He gave everything he had to the audience whom he appreciated, respected and loved. He leaves us with one of his favourite expressions: 'Train, take your vitamins and say your prayers.' Today, we pray for him.'
The Undertaker, 60, said on X: 'The wrestling world has lost a true legend. His contributions to our business are immeasurable, and for that, I am appreciative. Thank you, Hulk Hogan.'

WWE chief content officer and former wrestler Triple H wrote on Instagram: 'WWE would not be where it is today without the larger-than-life characters that compete in the ring. And few, if any, loomed larger than Terry 'Hulk Hogan' Bollea.
'He was the archetype of what it meant to be a Superstar – a global sensation that inspired millions to work hard at whatever it was they wanted to accomplish and a look that made him recognisable to fans around the world.
'Hulk Hogan, clad in red and yellow or NWO black and white, was simply put, iconic. As a Real American or the leader of one of the industry's biggest factions, he transcended and elevated the entire business to heights never before seen, in every country and on every continent.
'There was no one like The Hulkster and there very well may never be another. My family sends their condolences to his family, friends, and fans.'

Gwyneth Paltrow stars in Astronomer ad after viral Coldplay 'kiss cam' video, Entertainment News
Gwyneth Paltrow is starring in a new ad for Astronomer. Almost two weeks after the tech company's married CEO, Andy Byron, was caught on a Coldplay concert kiss cam with his arms around his HR executive Kristin Cabot, Gwyneth has been hired as a "temporary" spokesperson for Astronomer. Gwyneth, 52 - who was married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin from 2003 until 2016 - appeared in a short video on Astronomer's social media speaking about the company's strengths. She said: "I've been hired on a very temporary basis to speak on behalf of the 300-plus employees at Astronomer. Astronomer has gotten a lot of questions over the last few days, and they wanted me to answer the most common one." The first question, "OMG! What the actual f***?", then appeared on the screen in writing. However, she dodged the question and said: "Yes, Astronomer is the best place to run Apache Airflow, unifying the experience of running data, ML and AI pipelines at scale. We've been thrilled so many people have a newfound interest in data workflow automation." View this post on Instagram A post shared by Astronomer (@astronomer_io) The next question to Astronomer was, "How is your social media team holding..." However, she moved on before the whole question could be asked, saying: "We will now be returning to what we do best, which is delivering game-changing results for our customers. Thank you for your interest in Astronomer." The video was captioned: "Thank you for your interest in Astronomer." At Coldplay's July 15 concert, a cameraman panned across the crowd and showed Byron and Cabot in an embrace. In a video shared to TikTok, as the couple frantically tried to dodge the camera, Chris, 48, could be heard saying: "Oh, look at these two. All right, c'mon, you're okay. "Oh, what? Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy." [[nid:720384]] Both Byron and Cabot have since resigned from the company.

‘Uno reversed this': Astronomer hires Chris Martin's ex Gwyneth Paltrow as ‘temporary spokesperson'
Find out what's new on ST website and app. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow were married from 2003 to 2016. Hit a spot of Trouble after your CEO and HR chief are caught canoodling at a concert? Don't Panic, hire the ex-wife of the band's lead singer for some tongue-in-cheek good PR. US tech company Astronomer debuted Gwyneth Paltrow as its temporary spokesperson in a video on Instagram on July 25. In the video, she promises to answer some of the common questions among many the company has received since its now-former CEO Andy Byron and also-former HR chief Kristin Cabot were caught in an embrace on a giant screen during a recent Coldplay concert . Both are married, but not to one another. Paltrow was married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin from 2003 to 2016. Whether she said 'I will try to fix you' to the Astronomer executives before signing up, we would never know. If you are expecting the company to spill the tea on what has happened within the company since Coldplaygate happened, hold your Great Expectations. In the video, Paltrow intentionally cut off questions, only to humorously redirect them instead. To the question, 'OMG! What the actual...' she said: 'Yes, Astronomer is the best place to run Apache Airflow. 'We've been thrilled so many people have a newfound interest in data workflow automation,' she added. In response to another question which asked, 'How is your social media team holding ...', she said to attend an Astronomer conference in September. In her concluding statements, the Oscar winner said: 'We will now be returning to doing what we do best, delivering game-changing results for our customers.' Call it Magic, or a stroke of creative genius, the move generated positive comments from netizens, which was likely the Endgame Astronomer had envisioned. The video has amassed ove r 6,000 likes and over 10,000 shares on Instagram so far. One Instagram user said: 'They just Uno reversed this one on us.' Another commented: 'Can't think of a more perfect campaign or PR move than this!' Paltrow's appearance comes after Mr Byron and Ms Cabot were seen on the jumbotron during a Coldplay concert in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on July 16 . When the Two Lovers realised they were on camera, Mr Byron immediately ducked out of view, while the Ms Cabot turned her back to the camera. Seeing their reactions, Martin then remarked: 'Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy.'
