Caitlin Clark Reacts to Fever's Blowout Over Aces Without Words
The Indiana Fever delivered a statement performance on Thursday, routing the Las Vegas Aces 81-54 to notch their third straight win and fourth in five games.

From the opening tip, the Fever seized control, outscoring the Aces 21-14 in the first quarter and never letting up.
Veteran guard Kelsey Mitchell poured in 25 points, while second-year forward Aliyah Boston added 20 points and seven rebounds to fuel Indiana's dominant home win.
Beyond the box score, the victory snapped a 16-game losing streak against Las Vegas, marking the first time the Fever have beaten the Aces since 2019.
Yet the postgame spotlight fell not on the celebration inside the arena but on an Instagram video shared by the Fever.
Teammates chanted "Fever dub," "Big dub," and "that's in the dub column" as they strode into their private tunnel after the game.

In stark contrast, however, Caitlin Clark calmly held up a 'W' as she stared point-blank into the camera.
Clark's reserved gesture was no accident.
After suffering a quadriceps strain on May 24 against New York, Clark was sidelined for five games.
She returned briefly before being ruled out again due to a left‑groin strain. Clark has now missed four games, including both the Commissioner's Cup final and the Thursday's matchup.

With the win, the Fever now move up to 9-8 on the season, good enough for third in the Eastern Conference and just three games behind the top-ranked New York Liberty.

New York recalled right-hander Chris Devenski from Triple-A Syracuse. Brought up for the fourth time this season, the 34-year-old right-hander has made four appearances for the Mets. Right-hander Kodai Senga, sidelined since June 12 by a strained right hamstring, is to start a rehab assignment Saturday with Double-A Binghamton. He is to throw 60-65 pitches, according to Mendoza, and soon could return to New York's injury-ravaged rotation. Entering the NBA, his best asset is his playmaking, both from the post and in the half-court.
