Saudi Arabia Collaborates with China-Arab Cultural and Tourism Cooperation Research Center

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Culture signed an executive program with the China-Arab Cultural and Tourism Cooperation Research Center on Sunday, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The new partnership seeks to strengthen the cultural cooperation between the Kingdom and China in line with the 2025 Saudi-Chinese Cultural Year.
The program was signed by Deputy Minister for Research and Cultural Heritage Affairs, Dr. Maha Abdullah Alsenan, and Vice President of Beijing International Studies University and member of the Joint Committee of the China-Arab Research Center for Cultural and Tourism Cooperation, Cheng Wei, at the headquarters of the Culture Ministry in Diriyah.
The collaboration will support research exchange and encourage joint conferences and symposiums to discuss cultural issues in both countries.
The program will also facilitate visits by Saudi researchers to Chinese universities and research centers, as well as by Chinese researchers to Saudi universities and research centers.
Crucially, the program will provide both countries with several specialists in cultural fields to offer critical support in the research fellowship program alongside other consultative support.
In March, the Saudi Culture Ministry launched the Saudi-Chinese Cultural Year 2025 in China, highlighting the strong and deep relations between both countries.
The 2025 cultural year marked a significant milestone in boosting the bilateral cultural ties through a vast array of interactive events. Such events will further enhance the cultural scene in both nations and deepen the historical ties between their peoples.

General Court of Audit Participates in INTOSAI Professional Standards Committee Meeting

The General Court of Audit (GCA), represented by Vice President of Financial Audit and Compliance, Lama Alhammadi, took part in the 27th Steering Meeting of the Professional Standards Committee of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI). The meeting was held in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and brought together senior representatives from numerous supreme audit institutions and international organizations. INTOSAI Among the participants were officials from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the World Bank, and the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). The meeting included a series of discussion panels aimed at shaping the committee's 2026–2028 work plan.
