Role of Company Secretaries evolving over time, says ICSI vice-president
Newly qualified company secretaries should learn to embrace opportunities and understand their responsibility towards the profession, vice-president of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) C.S. Pawan G. Chandak said. The ICSI, functioning under the jurisdiction of the Union Ministry of Corporate Affairs, conducted its convocation for the Southern Region at Sri Padmavati Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam (SPMVV) campus here on Thursday (July 03). Speaking on the role of the Company Secretaries evolving over time, Mr. Chandak also announced the fee waiver scheme offered to the members of the Indian armed forces, paramilitary forces, Agniveers, family members of martyrs registering for the CS Executive Programme. He also explained the joint certificate course on 'Corporate and Securities Markets Compliances' offered to the ICSI students in association with National Institute of Securities Markets. Also, he shed light on ICSI Guiding Principles on Stewardship (IGPS) course that outlines best practices for responsible investment, encompassing environmental, social, and governance factors, to empower Institutional Investors and Service Providers. Similarly, the ICSI 'UAE Business Manager' certificate course aims to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills for roles in the United Arab Emirates. He also outlined the offers for students from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh registering for the CSEET and CS Executive Programme. SPMVV Vice-Chancellor Uma Vennam, who was chief guest, congratulated the newly inducted members of the ICSI and recalled the significant responsibilities on their shoulders to ensure growth, development and rise of the nation. The Institute announced the two-year full-time MBA in Maritime Regulations and Compliance Management, offered in collaboration with Gujarat Maritime University, which encompasses CS curriculum and maritime laws and regulatory practices to enhance employability of CS students. Over 263 young members participated in the convocation. ICSI council members A. Mohan Kumar, R. Venkataramana and South Indian Regional Council (SIRC) Chairman E.P. Madhusudhanan were present.

Last Updated: The ICSI CSEET July 2025 exam is scheduled for July 5. To access and download the admit cards, candidates will have to key in their application number in the portal. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has released the admit cards for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) exam scheduled for July 2025. Candidates who registered for the July session exam can download the ICSI CSEET admit cards from the official website, To access and download the admit cards, candidates will have to key in their application number/unique ID and date of birth in the portal. Sharing an official notice, ICSI stated, 'You are requested to download your Admit Card along with instructions from the link: The same will be available for download from 24th June 2025 onwards by entering your CSEET Unique Id and Date of Birth." The ICSI CSEET July 2025 exam is scheduled for July 5. ICSI CSEET July Admit Card 2025: How To Download Step 1: Log in to the official website of ICSI at Step 2: On the webpage, click on the admit card release notification. Step 3: Log in to your account using your credentials, such as your application number, date of birth and password. Step 4: Once done, the ICSI CSEET admit card will be displayed on your screen. Candidates should carefully review the details on their CSEET admit card 2025 after downloading it. The admit card will include essential information such as the candidate's name, roll number, exam centre details (address and timings), the exam date and time, and the candidate's photograph and signature. CSEET July Exam 2025: Exam Pattern The question paper will be divided into four sections: Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, Business Communication, Economic and Business Environment, Current Affairs, and Quantitative Aptitude. Each section will have 35 questions, making a total of 140 questions. Candidates will have 120 minutes to complete the exam. To pass the CSEET, candidates must score at least 40 per cent in each of the four sections individually and achieve an overall aggregate of 50 per cent.
