Yellowstone star, 54, marries weather presenter fiancée, 34, in Vatican wedding
The actor, known for his roles in films including Sweet Home Alabama and Ford v Ferrari, and weather presenter Brianna Ruffalo announced on Friday that they had said their vows at the official residence of the Pope in Rome, Italy.
Brianna, who works for ABC7 in Los Angeles, captioned an Instagram carousel from their special day: 'Mr and Mrs Incredibly blessed to receive this sacrament together inside the heart of the Catholic Church and holy city.'
She shared a selection of snaps from their ceremony inside one of the chapels, which showed Josh planting a kiss on her inside the church and photos of them posing outside the famous St Peter's Basilica.
'I love you! Easily one of the greatest days of my life. I am so so grateful,' Josh wrote in the comments section as others rushed to share their congratulations, including Brianna's ABC7 colleagues.
He also shared photos on his account as he thanked people for who helped 'make the dream of wedding in the Vatican come true'.
'Congratulations my friend. This is the good stuff,' commented White Lotus star Walton Goggins while Oscar and Emmy-winning actress Alison Janney shared her good wishes and House of Cards' Michael Kelly added: 'Perfect!!! Congratulations yall!!!'
Brianna gave a hint at what it entails to get married in the holy location – something only open to Catholic couples – in a follow-up post on Saturday evening, where she shared a gorgeous portrait of her and her husband posing on a balcony outside together in their wedding finery, heads together.
'We are grateful to the many people who helped us get to this moment in the Catholic Church,' she began. 'I am so thankful for Father Winters at the parish I grew up in, and Sister Angelica at the archdiocese of Los Angeles – as well as several others within the archdiocese.
'We also absolutely couldn't have done this without our stellar wedding planning team who coordinated with the Vatican. Thank you for making our wedding day so beautiful and easy.'
Upon announcing their engagement last July, the American Psycho actor – who has recently delighted fans by portraying the young version of Kevin Costner's character John Dutton on smash-hit cowboy show Yellowstone – shared that he was 'grateful and thrilled' that Brianna had agreed to be his wife after he popped the question during a romantic Italian holiday.
The happy couple, who had been together for almost two years, shared their news on Instagram, with a tearful Brianna laughing as she showed off her diamond ring while musicians played Elvis Presley's Can't Help Falling in Love.
Josh captioned his post: 'For the last 2 years in every way and every day this beautiful soul has made me and my life better, deeper, and more whole.
'I am so grateful and thrilled she said 'Yes'. I WAY love you Brianna. Thank you to our families and all the people and places that made this come true. I am absolutely aware I got crazy lucky.'
Meanwhile, Brianna said that accepting Josh's proposal was the 'easiest and best question' she'd ever answered.
She wrote on her own page: 'Almost 2 years ago this fall, and with no expectations, Josh walked into my life… and we knew almost immediately we had each found our person in a way we've never experienced – on every level. This was the easiest and best question I've ever answered. So, here's to forever with my love, my best friend. I can't wait to keep living this life with you.'
Josh was previously married to ex-wife Jessica Ciencin Henriquez, with whom he shares 13-year-old son Noah.
The former couple were engaged six weeks after meeting in 2011, marrying in 2012 and then divorcing in 2014. More Trending
He previously joked that Brianna is 'fully' on the side of Patrick Dempsey's character Andrew Hennings in his classic 2002 rom-com Sweet Home Alabama.
The movie sees Reese Witherspoon's Melanie Smooter leave her fiancé Andrew for Josh's character Jake Perry at the end of the film.
He told Entertainment Tonight: 'In [Brianna's] mind, she's like, 'But you're the guy that kind of ruined their relationship!'
'The funny thing is once she said that, all these people have come up to me and been like, 'Yeah, I was Team Patrick too.''

Donald Trump slammed by music legend with brutal three word remark
Donald Trump has come under fire from another musician, just months after Bruce Springsteen publicly criticised the American President Donald Trump's opinion on the arts has come under fire from a music legend who declares: "It can't go on like this for four more years." Russell Mael, 76, one half of the iconic duo behind This Town Ain't Big Enough for Both Of Us, hitmakers Sparks, was asked in an interview about what it's like living in California under Trump's administration, considering the state's reputation as a haven for creativity and artistic freedom. Russell and his brother and bandmate Ron, 79, were both born in California and have spent their entire lives there, aside from a short period living in London during the 1970s, the Express reports. "It's absolutely terrible," he said. "There is no upside to that, once someone starts determining what people should or should not be reading or should or should not be seeing performed. It's so damaging to people especially in the arts, but in all sorts of areas too. It's incomprehensible that this is happening." "The art is an individual spirit and you should be free to express yourself in any kind of way," he continued. "And if artists change what they do because of Trump that is giving in to something bad. Hopefully the people are going to rally against this, in some sort of way. It can't go on like this for four more years," he reflected whilst speaking to the Sunday Independent. Mael and his brother have released 28 albums over their five-decade-long career. They recently wrapped up the UK leg of their tour promoting their latest chart-topping album, Mad! As part of their setlist, they performed a track from their 2020 album titled Please Don't F** My World*, which Mael noted feels more relevant now than ever. Mael is not the first artist to criticise Trump's policies and their impact on the arts. Back in 2017, during Trump's first term as President, Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro warned that his immigration policies could shut out talented individuals from entering the country. While accepting the Film Society of Lincoln Centre's Chaplin Award, he told the audience that the award's namesake, Charlie Chaplin, was "an immigrant who probably wouldn't pass today's 'extreme vetting'." "I hope we're not keeping out the next Chaplin," De Niro told the crowd. Born in London, Chaplin was exiled from the US in 1952 for supposedly supporting communism during the McCarthy-era witch hunts. De Niro also criticised the Trump administration for making what he called "mean-spirited" cuts to arts programs, accusing them of doing so "for their own divisive political purposes." Just last week, both the Senate and the House agreed to the Trump administration's request to cut $1.1 billion in funding from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which supports TV networks like NPR and PBS. The cut was approved in a 51-to-48 vote and now awaits Trump's signature. PBS is known for airing the long-running children's educational show Sesame Street.

Chris Hughes urged to 'keep some things private' after NSFW JoJo Siwa confession
Chris Hughes has made a rather shocking admission about his relationship with JoJo Siwa—and once you know it, you can't unknow it. The Celebrity Big Brother couple have been sharing glimpses of their romance on social media in the month they've been together. With JoJo, 22, in the States and Chris, 32—whom she calls 'my sweet Christopher'—in the UK, they've already jetted back and forth several times to spend time together. And after Chris gave his first tell-all interview about their blossoming relationship last week, it seems he just can't stop talking. The Love Island star made a very NSFW revelation in his latest chat with E! when asked about his future with JoJo, who previously dated Kath Ebbs, and the possibility of starting a family. Somehow, totally unprovoked, this led to him telling the world what his girlfriend has nicknamed his genitals. Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro's TV Newsletter. Sign up to our newsletter and then select your show in the link we'll send you so we can get TV news tailored to you. 'During an interview with me, she (JoJo) did mention her dream for three kids named Freddie, Eddie, and Teddy,' the interviewer began, referencing a now-viral moment from the Dance Moms personality. 'I'm not sure if you have heard of this before,' he said, to which Chris began laughing. 'Yeah, she's mentioned those names before,' he smiled. Probed on his reaction, Chris steered the conversation in a very different direction. 'Well, she calls my balls Jimmy and Timmy, so she must love the rhyming lingo within her life.' While the interviewer chuckled in response, the comments section of a clip shared on Instagram quickly flooded with confusion and demands that both parties start keeping some things private. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video 'Yea know…. There are things we just keep to ourselves 🥴😂', commented @gabriellemast_. 'Oh helll nahhhhh', wrote @itspaulybih. 'Omg…tmi 🥴', added @halfordsue. 'These celebs telling us things we don't want to know nowadays', agreed @crystalicioussss. However, plenty leapt to the defence of the lovebirds, championing Chris's British sense of humour. Others pointed out how Jimmy and Timmy were reportedly nicknames JoJo used in the CBB house, making it a long-standing, open joke. 'Shows people didn't watch big brother😂😂😂', laughed @ngodza24 in reaction to the trolling. Chris's confession comes after he opened up about his love for JoJo and how he's already been mentally planning their wedding. Speaking to The Sun, he admitted: 'I'd love to marry her. I'd be lying if I didn't tell you I run through scenarios of our wedding day … We'd have a proper English wedding, and I can imagine her in a full wedding dress.' On having children together, he added: 'We both want kids. 'We come from loving families. My mum loves her. She's my best friend. I love that she's the person I have to do nothing with and still have the best time. That's everything to me.' Elsewhere in the gushing interview, Chris explained that JoJo makes him feel 'safe'. He also made it clear he has no time for critics of their age gap or those accusing them of a 'showmance'. 'I wouldn't go to the effort of loving someone for any other reason than it being real,' he declared. Before his relationship with JoJo, Chris's former girlfriends included ITV presenter Olivia Attwood and Little Mix pop star Jesy Nelson. More Trending JoJo previously identified as a lesbian, having only publicly dated women and non-binary partners. However, she and Aussie musician Kath, 27, broke things off at the CBB wrap party in dramatic fashion, with JoJo now insisting that she feels more comfortable with the 'queer' label. Proving himself to be an ally, Chris declared in his interview earlier this month that 'love is love' and she is 'still part of the LGBTQ+ community,' regardless of who she is with. Got a story? A source said: 'Eve and Harry's wedding is like a multi-million-pound fairytale on steroids. 'It's a society wedding like no other and it's turning rural Oxfordshire upside down. Everyone is used to tourists and famous faces, but this is something else.' Eve, 27, and Harry, 26, who we revealed got engaged last September, are understood to be planning a decadent, four-day celebration starting tomorrow. They are set to be joined by equestrian Jessica Springsteen — daughter of megastar singer Bruce — Apple designer Jony Ive, and Sofia Abramovich, whose dad Roman used to own Chelsea Football Club. It is understood guests will fly in on their private jets to Oxford airport this week, with helicopters on standby to transport them directly onto the grounds of the house where the couple will marry. Steve Jobs introduces the original iPhone in 2007 'The wedding is being planned like a military operation,' our insider said. 'The itinerary is scheduled so precisely, with guests starting to arrive all this week before the wedding celebrations begin on Thursday. 'Kamala, Kim and Khloe Kardashian and Bill Gates' daughters, Phoebe and Jennifer, are all on the VIP guest list. 'Matt Helders from the Arctic Monkeys has been invited, too. It's an eclectic mix of stars and will be like a 'who's who' of the rich and famous. 'There are a lot of important American political figures going to be there. No doubt they'll all be Googling each other.' Locals revealed that, over the weekend, enormous trucks had started to slowly chug through the sleepy villages surrounding the wedding's top-secret location, before being parked up close to the estate. As well as carrying supplies for the enormous wedding bash — claimed to carry a price tag close to £50million — equipment for star act Elton is understood to be on site. 'Elton is booked to perform for an hour,' our mole added. 'He will play a selection of his songs, including some of Eve and Harry's favourites. 9 Harry made his Team GB debut at Tokyo in 2020 and won the team jumping gold himself at the Paris Olympic games last year Credit: Shutterstock Editorial 9 Steve was keen for his children to carve out their own paths and success Credit: Rex 'A concert from Elton doesn't come cheap. Apparently they've forked out over £1million to have him perform. " It's going to be incredibly special.' Eve and Laurene didn't plan the behemoth nuptials alone, with events planner to the stars Stanlee Gatti understood to have been drafted in. He was the brains behind American Ivy Getty's extravagant 2021 wedding to Tobias Engel — where Earth, Wind & Fire performed — and has helped Elton put together his famous Oscars' after-parties over the years. 'Every final detail of the big day has been signed off by Eve and Harry, but this is Stanlee's baby,' our source explained. 'It's the meeting of two soulmates from across the Atlantic and that will be reflected in the wedding, too. 'The vibe is upper class English luxury with a cool, modern American vibe. It's going to be like nothing anyone at the wedding has experienced before.' Eve, the youngest of Apple founder Steve's four children, started dating Olympic gold medallist Harry in 2022. After studying science, technology and society at Stanford University in California, Eve moved into fashion and made her modelling debut in 2021 at Paris Fashion Week, walking for fashion house Coperni alongside stars including Gigi Hadid. 'FUNNY FIRECRACKER' She was later named by society bible Tatler as one of their 'new generation of It Girls' after signing to DNA Model Management. Eve has also appeared as a model in Vogue and Vanity Fair, and worked with big brands including Louis Vuitton. Harry, the son of London 2012 team jumping gold medallist Peter Charles, was raised in Hampshire and followed his father into a career in equestrian sport. He made his Team GB debut at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 and also won the team jumping gold at the Paris Games last year — with Eve spotted cheering him on in the stands at the Chateau de Versailles. The pair went public with their romance that day, with Harry later popping the question. Insiders said the pair bonded over their love of horses, with Eve an accomplished rider in her own right. She has competed internationally at Grand Prix level and won a bronze medal at the 2019 Pan American Games in Peru while a student at university. That same year, she was ranked fifth out of the world's best 1,000 riders under the age of 25 by Horse Sports. Eve and Harry have rarely spoken about one another publicly, but after picking up his gold in Paris last year, Harry told Tatler he was keen to spend time with the heiress to take in his achievements. When quizzed on what his plans involved, he revealed: 'Go over to the States. Spend some time with my girlfriend, Eve. 'We're just going to sit and enjoy and reflect on it.' 9 Kim and Khloe Kardashian are expected to attend the nuptials Credit: Splash 9 Eve and her mother Laurene at the 2023 TIME100 Gala Credit: Getty Last month, Eve flew out to Capri in Italy for a lavish hen party alongside pals including Phoebe Gates and Olympian Eileen Gu. She shared photographs from the getaway with Harry's sister Scarlett, as well as Harry's mum Tara. The group stayed in a luxury villa during their break as well as sailing on a yacht. Harry's stag party has been far more under the radar, with the showjumper hard at work in the run-up to the wedding after he competed at the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix in Monaco earlier this month. Eve's siblings — her brother Reed, sister Erin and half-sister Lisa — are also understood to be attending, along with Harry's close and extended family. Throughout last night, the preparations for the big day continued, with guests expected to start touching down from tomorrow. Laurene, who founded The Emerson Collective, which invests in entrepreneurs, is believed to be overseeing events for their youngest daughter. The pair previously discussed not passing his enormous wealth down to the children, with Steve keen for them to carve out their own paths and success. Laurene told The Times in 2020: 'I'm not interested in legacy wealth buildings, and my children know that. "Steve wasn't interested in that. This might be the UK's most expensive society wedding, but there will be some incredible personal touches Wedding insider 'If I live long enough, it ends with me.' Prior to his passing, Steve spoke of his hopes for Eve in his authorised biography, calling her 'funny firecracker.' Our insider added: 'Toasts will be raised and those who are no longer with Eve and Harry will be celebrated. 'This might be the UK's most expensive society wedding, but there will be some incredible personal touches. 'The family's dedication to philanthropy will also come into play.
