
Flagship Westfield Good Festival Returns this May
Major sustainability event Good Festival is returning to Westfield London (16-18 May) and Westfield Stratford City (23-25 May) with a programme of free workshops, masterclasses, and eco-conscious experiences.
In partnership with resale platform Depop, the events are created 'to inspire and empower visitors to embrace sustainable choices across fashion, beauty, and lifestyle'.
The centrepiece to this year's festival is the 'Style to Sell Studio', an exclusive activation at Westfield London, designed to 'upskill' visitors to become experts in turning their pre-loved fashion into profit.
It invites visitors to bring up to five items of clothing or accessories they no longer wear to learn how to restyle by a team of expert stylists led by fashion sustainability advocate and former fashion editor, Bay Garnett.
A professional photographer will also be on hand to direct sellers on how to capture high-quality images against carefully curated backdrops. Photos will be optimised for resale platforms like Depop.
Alongside the Studio, the Westfield Good Festival also offers a host of activities 'to educate and inspire', including Depop Marketplace; Creative Workshops & Masterclasses; repairs specialist SOJO Alterations & Repairs; and Refill & Reimagine with beauty retailer Kiehl's
Katie Wyle, director of Shopping Centre Management, Northern Europe at malls operator Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, said: 'Our How We Shop Research reveals the Eco-Fluency trend with 57% of Gen Z and millennials planning to dedicate the majority of their clothing spend to pre-loved items in the near future and two in five consumers calling for high street brands to offer second-hand alongside new collections.
'This year, our partnership with Depop brings the vibrant energy of digital resale culture into the physical space, whilst our Style to Sell Studio offers opportunities for shared learning and a more conscious, empowered community.'

Showoffff sees revenue cross Rs 200 crore in FY25
Bengaluru-based men's and women's fashion brand Showoffff surpassed Rs 200 crore in revenue in the 2025 financial year, following a strategic brand refresh aimed at deepening its connection with India's youth-driven retail market. The repositioning helped the label cross 10.5 lakh monthly website visits and achieve a 61% rise in digital engagement, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. Gross merchandise value across online and offline channels rose 75%, contributing to the brand's strongest fiscal performance to date. Looking ahead, Showoffff plans to triple its digital customer base, launch Luxe Collection lines, and expand into lifestyle categories such as wellness resorts and real estate, while reinforcing its fashion credentials through sustainability and accessible pricing. Renamed from Showoff to Showoffff, the brand now targets Gen Z and millennial shoppers through inclusive sizing, gender-neutral silhouettes, and limited-edition drops. 'We have decoded what Gen Z and young millennials truly want," said the brand's founder Priya Shah. "Every element has been curated to capture the spirit of current fashion culture in India." Founded in 1993 with a 200 square foot store in Bengaluru's Jayanagar, Showoffff now operates 22 outlets across Karnataka and Maharashtra, with a total retail footprint of over 500,000 square feet. The brand also retails via its direct to customer website and on e-commerce platforms including Amazon and Myntra, according to its website.

Most Britons still prefer shopping in person
As many as two-thirds of UK consumers prefer to shop in physical stores rather than online, but online remains key as most of us do shop there and we get our inspiration there too — a quarter of us find inspiration for our wardrobes entirely on social media, influenced by platforms such as Instagram and TikTok via 'get ready with me content'. That's according to a new study from outlet shopping destination Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, which also said that data shows 'Gen Z lead in style confidence, [and] Manchester has been named the most fashionable city in the UK'. The study was commissioned by Cheshire Oaks to mark its 30th anniversary and when asked to rank personal style on a scale from one to 10, Britons gave themselves an average score of five, with Gen Z (aged 18-24) 'being significantly more confident in their ability to create a 'fire outfit' and scoring themselves a far higher average of seven'. Over 65s were the least self-assured in their fashion sense scoring just four out of 10. Meanwhile, Manchester, London and Brighton residents rated themselves higher than the national average, with Mancunians taking top spot by rating themselves as a nine or even 10, higher than anywhere else in the UK. Respondents said that on average they'd developed their personal style by the age of just 25. As mentioned, social media was ranked as 'the key inspiration for sourcing stylish looks' but 64% of respondents said they prefer shopping in person. Leading reasons include the ability to try on items on (80%), to judge quality in person (70.4%), and avoid delivery issues (51%). Older shoppers are most keen but for younger shoppers, the in-store experience remains relevant — 'especially when enhanced with entertainment, events, and hands-on discovery as reported by respondents aged 20-30'. The outlet centre has reflected that in its anniversary year with a one-off, free live music gig this month. The line-up comprised a 'top secret' 2000s chart-topping headliner, The Sugababes, joined by DJ Howard Donald of Take That and event host, Hits Radio's Kimberly Wyatt.
