Weekly poll: are you interested in the vivo X200 FE?

GSM Arena19 hours ago

Tiny flagships with mighty cameras – are smartphone makers finally giving the people what they want? The vivo X200 FE is not as capable as the X200 Pro mini, but at least it will be widely available – which is more than can be said of the OnePlus 13T.
The vivo X200 FE has a 6.31' display and while it's taller, wider and heavier than the Galaxy S25, it is smaller than the Pixel 9 Pro and about the same size as the iPhone 16 Pro (except the iPhone weighs 13g more). It's almost exactly the same size as the OnePlus 13s (the version of the 13T available only in India).
The FE uses the Dimensity 9300+ instead of a 9400-series chip like the Pro mini. That's still plenty of performance. And it has a 6,500mAh battery that will make even larger phones jealous, especially with 90W charging.
The camera system features a 50MP main (1/1.56', OIS), 50MP 3x/70mm periscope and an 8MP ultra-wide, complete with Zeiss optics and a 50MP selfie camera. That's better than the 10MP 3x/67mm tele module that Samsung offers (and will keep offering on the S26, according to rumors), though it comes up short when compared against the 48MP 5x cameras of the Pixel 9 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro.
Samsung Galaxy S25 • Google Pixel 9 Pro • Apple iPhone 16 Pro • OnePlus 13S
You have to keep in mind that the vivo X200 FE is a lot cheaper than the Galaxy, Pixel or iPhone and competitive with the OnePlus. Here's a price comparison for Europe and India, based on MSRP (discounted prices go up and down all the time). Model Memory Europe India vivo X200 FE 12/256GB ??? ??? Galaxy S25 12/256GB €810 ₹81,000 Pixel 9 Pro 16/256GB €1,200 ₹100,000 iPhone 16 Pro 256GB €1,330 ₹130,000 OnePlus 13s 12/256GB N/A ₹55,000

New notification feature helps you manage Gmail for Android inbox

A new option is being added to notifications being received on Android phones for the Gmail app. By adding "Mark as read" to the options at the bottom of the notification (next to Delete and Reply), Android users can mark that they have read this email on the Gmail for Android app without having to open the app. The bottom line is that by adding the "Mark as read" option to the Gmail for Android notifications you can mark some emails as "read" without having them distract you. According to X subscriber Kurt Gomez, on one of his Google accounts, he noticed the "Mark as read" option for Gmail notifications. This update is undergoing an A/B server-side test and is not widely available even on Android phones running Gmail for Android, version 2025.06.15. For example, I have this version of Gmail on my Pixel 6 Pro running Android 16 QPR1 Beta 2.1 but I am not seeing the new notification response on my phone. We should point out that the Gmail notification with the "Mark as read" option appears on notifications for the iOS Gmail app. If you don't have an iPhone and haven't received the new feature for Gmail notifications on your Android device, there is an app in the Play Store you can use called AutoNotification. This app will allow you to replace Gmail notificationis with your own and you can add a "Mark as read" response. Before the update arrives, you can choose between Archive and Default to be your second action. | Image credit-PhoneArena Let's point out that the Android Gmail notification by default includes the option to Reply and a choice between Archive or Delete. To choose between those two, open the Gmail app on your Android phone and tap the three line Hamburger icon menu. Scroll down to Settings > General Settings > Default email notification action and choose between Archive and Delete . The one you choose will be the second notification option. At left, the current Gmail notifications for Android. On the right is the updated version with the Mark as read feature." | Image credit-Android Authority This might not seem like a big deal to you, but being able to go through your Gmail inbox and mark some stories as read without having to open the app is a huge time saver. Once I see the update available on my Pixel 6 Pro we will update this story. Secure your connection now at a bargain price! We may earn a commission if you make a purchase Check Out The Offer

Grab the Moto G Stylus 5G (2024) with a free Lenovo tablet worth $349.99

It's been a while since the Moto G Stylus 5G (2024) came with a sweet freebie at the official store—but Motorola is back with a tempting new bundle. For a limited time, you can grab the Android phone with a Lenovo Tab Plus. Gift The Moto G Stylus 5G (2024) is a pretty attractive choice for users seeking a mid-ranger with a stylus right now. For a limited time, the smartphone sells with a free tablet worth $349.99: the Lenovo Tab Plus. That's a rare promo you wouldn't want to miss, so act fast and grab yours while you can. Buy at Motorola $100 off (25%) Don't need a free tablet? In that case, pick Amazon's offer and save 25% on the Moto G Stylus 5G (2024). The promo is available on all colorways: Caramel Latte and Scarlet Wave. Grab yours and save $100 right now. Buy at Amazon Just a note: you'd have to buy the device at its full retail price of $399.99. The good news is the $349.99 tablet arrives completely free of charge, so you're still getting a lot of value out of the deal! And if you don't need a free tablet, Amazon sells the handset for $100 off, saving you 25%.Granted, Motorola released a new Moto G Stylus (2025) this year. However, it hasn't received discounts so far, making the 2024 model the better choice for those who'd like a free tablet alongside their Android phone . But what makes this stylus-wielding mid-ranger worth considering? Firstly, it has a stylish design and a beautiful 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. As we've mentioned in our Moto G Stylus 5G (2024) review, the handset also boasts impressive brightness levels. That means you'll have no issues with outdoor visibility. Under the hood, the handset features a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip. You might notice the occasional stutter when using the camera or navigating through the interface, but overall, it runs smoothly—and can even handle gaming, as long as you stick to lower settings. As far as software support goes, we've got some bad news: the G Stylus 5G (2024) only gets one major OS upgrade, plus three years of security patches. If you want a handset that stays reliable and up-to-date for longer, consider the Pixel 8a. Overall, the Moto G Stylus 5G (2024) might not be the perfect mid-range phone, but it's a pretty attractive pick when paired with a free Lenovo Tab Plus. Get yours at the Motorola Store and save $349.99 on the tablet. Secure your connection now at a bargain price! We may earn a commission if you make a purchase Check Out The Offer

Ai+ will launch its smartphones on July 8

How easily people put privacy and Google in the same sentence? I wish I could meet one such person myself and ask him what he's smoking, must be something grade A. Anonymous, 9 hours ago From the name to the marketing about privacy, it's a scam. How dare you! The party would never lie to you! Blasphemy! ...or whatever the equivalence is in agnosticism. Soon: chatGpt launched it's first Virtual smartphone with chatGPT at the helm. After that, it contracted Gemini 3D printers to push out 100.000 units, that sold in a matter of seconds. Deep seek seeing the success of chat gpt took notes and launched himself 2 virtual smartphones, one with deep seek at the helm but with chatGPT like interface and the other with deep seek at the helm and 1000000 mAh virtual battery. Deep Seek is now struggling to push it's devices through the Gemini 3d printer. Gemini is reculent about Deep Seeks second device battery specifications, and said that the battery is a paper-specs only, while accusing deep seek of UI theft, puting manufacturing on hold. Deep seek needs now to seek other 3d printers with lesser strict rules or change it's ways. 3 months later: deep seek is now also on a 3d printer, happily puhing out it's paper specs devices. o be continued... From the name to the marketing about privacy, it's a scam. Ngl that price tag is pretty insane, in a good way [deleted post] It's got nothing to do with India. It's how sick the smartphone market, in general, has become. In India, nobody is focusing on building an Indian smartphone brand seriously, maybe Lava to some extent, and everyone is happy with what's available. I don't even want to argue which other countries contribute more to e-waste as that argument with someone like you is pointless. If you want to educate yourself about Indian innovation that is efficient, go read about our space programs. In my opinion, that's one area where we are doing a phenomenal job and they have also been quite underrated. Smartphones are not eco-friendly anywhere in the world. So I would request you to refrain from making such comments, unless it makes you feel good about yourself when you talk trash about something you have no knowledge of. These phones look great. They really spend a lot of money to disguise a generic oem phone into a good looking one. The Unisoc chipsets are worth the price. The only problem is the false marketing of this. AI? Focus on privacy? This is a glorified generic phone. [deleted post] Developed countries are the problem especially considering the plastic usageand production. In top 5 plastic producing companies there are two companies from US Dow inc and ExxonMobil. Moreover there are two waste landfills in the biggest landfills in the world list that are in US namely Apex Regional Landfill and Puento Hills California. That is after selling its a major plastic waste to Malaysia and other countries. Give me any fact refuting this. Anonymous, 20 hours ago That would be crazy good value What about this generic AI nonsense that offers absolutely nothing is good value? It's anything but that. Anonymous, 20 hours ago You know all those cautionary sci-fi tales about how mankin... more Not really, its just a primitive marketing. They are brainstorming how to sell a lot of crappy phones and decide to spin-off a small part of the company under one of the executives and assign it the name of the current marketing hit in the world. If not AI they would call it whatever is the currently popular branding. And they will use worst possible hardware at dirt cheap prices. Also at no risk for the fpunding brand. And if it succeds somehow, they will up the price fo square the circle. No worries, Unisoc will not overtake a single kitchen, let alone the world. Its just shameful that websites like gsmarwna will start spamming "exclusive infos" and "newest images" and force those upon us as if we are interested in this e-waste. And entire cycle will repeat itself again once AI goes out of fashion. DashF, 23 hours ago Why would you not expect low end specs in a phoen that cost... more HMD Crest at $70 would be much better value, and it's also cheaper than that, under different Indian retailers. I think the funniest thing about this brand is how they are incapable of Not Using AI footage in their ads. Do they not have like. Models of these phones? "Twitter, wikipedia.. Ai+?!" 🤣 .. who's gives names this things Yolobs, 23 hours ago And some peoples think indian cant create something new ! Is this even example to give as something new ? The whole article feels like they are targeting the company and telling it useless and not so valuable. Using words like "so-called" and so on. Let them enter into market first. People are becoming judge now-a-day without doing anything. aadam, 23 hours ago lol designed in india they said slaps infinix design the... more So, when chinese companies were making this type of design what were you doing, why didn't you spoke anything, never mind the cheap mindset of people rabbit OS 2.0 hahahaa That would be crazy good value Hamiyoo, 23 hours ago does AI really have to be in EVERYTHING You know all those cautionary sci-fi tales about how mankind becomes totally dependent on AI and it all goes horribly wrong? We're going down that same path.
