New Google Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro leaked renders show all angles

GSM Arena6 hours ago
Another day, another batch of leaked Pixel renders. This time we have the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro in one color each, but shown from a multitude of angles.
The Pixel 10 is being portrayed in the colorway that will be known as Frost. It's still white-ish like the hue that Google likes to call Porcelain, but ever so slightly different.

The Pixel 10 has a very similar design to the Pixel 9, but the part of the camera island that actually houses the cameras is now elongated thanks to the presence of a third sensor this time around, a telephoto.

While that's great news, rumor has it the other two cameras might be getting a downgrade as a consequence - presumably to keep the price in check.
The Pixel 10 Pro is much more similar to the Pixel 9 Pro, and is shown here in the Obsidian color, which is basically black / dark gray as usual. The Pixel 10 Pro in Obsidian will have a matte glass back and a glossy metal frame. In contrast, the Pixel 10 will get a matte frame too.

The Pixel 10 Pro will also be offered in Porcelain, Jade, and Moonstone. The Pixel 10 will also come in Obsidian, Indigo, and Limoncello.

All Pixel 10 devices will be powered by the Tensor G5 SoC, Google's first to be made by TSMC and not Samsung. The Pixel 10 family is being announced on August 20.

Well, we found a pretty awesome limited-time deal on the affordable Galaxy Tab A9+, which we believe might tickle your now, Amazon is offering a 29% discount on the model with 64GB of storage, letting you score one for just under $156. This means you'll save $64 if you take advantage of this deal, which is not bad at all. Most of the time, the discount hovers around $50, so we believe that every time you can save more is an unmissable course, since it's in the budget segment, it won't wow you with stellar performance. However, its Snapdragon 695 chipset and 4GB of RAM are enough to handle daily tasks like web browsing and video streaming with ease. It rocks an 11-inch LCD screen with a 1920 x 1200 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio, bundled with four stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos. On top of that, it features a 90Hz refresh rate, which is a nice touch given the yeah! If it fits the bill for you, don't hesitate—go ahead and score one for less now!

Apple is considering tandem OLEDs for its 2028 iPhones

According to a recent report from The Elec, Apple is currently evaluating plans to bring tandem OLED displays to the iPhone. The display tech made its debut on the iPad Pro (2024) and brings two OLED panels layered on top of each other. The benefits include higher brightness output and reduced power consumption. Apple is currently evaluating the optimal tandem OLED display for the iPhone, and it apparently prefers a simplified implementation to the one used on the most recent iPad Pros. A simplified tandem OLED would still consist of two panels, with the second OLED layer only including the blue subpixels, while the primary panel houses the red and green ones. LG Display has allegedly contacted Apple about a simplified tandem OLED display last year, and Apple is also in talks with its other key supplier - Samsung Display. Apple usually operates a standard two-year schedule for development and mass production, and the new report suggests the earliest iPhone with a tandem OLED would appear in 2028. While the report does not go into detail about which model of the iPhone would receive the new display tech, it will likely be an exclusive feature for Pro models. Source

Since it's August already, many families are preparing for the new school year and Verizon is on the verge of rolling out a month-long campaign focused on value and digital wellness, starting with Verizon Family Weekend on August 9–10. Throughout this weekend, the carrier's stores across the US will become dedicated back-to-school centers, providing personalized tech guidance, live product demos, and curated solutions for students, parents, and educators alike. – Sowmyanarayan Sampath, CEO, Verizon Consumer, August 2025A new set of offers across smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and family-oriented services is August 7, customers who sign up for select unlimited plans can get: iPhone 16 Galaxy S25 Pixel 9… … at no extra cost (other than the plan subscription fee). On August 21, Verizon will launch the Family Plus perk at a reduced price of $10 per month, down from the current $15. This upgraded feature builds on the existing free Verizon Family app and adds expanded parental controls. These include continuous location tracking with real-time updates, content filtering, screen time settings, and driving behavior monitoring for teens. Verizon Family Plus offers network-based and GPS location tracking even when GPS is inactive, as well as tools to monitor and block calls, texts, websites, and apps. The perk also includes more towing and roadside events than similar services and 24/7 access to emergency monitoring and response. A new feature called Family Line will also launch on August 21, allowing up to five family members to share a second phone line for calls. Verizon states that it will not sell users' location data and will keep it private. Finally, if you want to equip your child with a modern gadget, but feel like you're not up to the challenge of setting it up, don't worry. To help families navigate digital tools, Verizon retail staff will offer in-store support, including help setting up kid-friendly smartwatches and optimizing tablets for learning. Demonstrations will also show how to use the Family Plus app to manage screen time and promote digital balance.
