Actress excited to join star-studded cast
According to a report by Telugu Cinema, Samyuktha is said to be quite excited about her role in the upcoming film.
Sources close to the production reveal that the actress is impressed with the story and her character arc, and is eager to dive into shoot mode as the team prepares to go on floors.
Samyuktha has been part of large-scale projects which include 'Akhanda 2' and 'Swayambhu'.
The movie's possible titles
The movie is currently being named '#PuriSethupathi' and it's yet to be officially titled. There are some names which are being considered for the film, they include 'Bhavati Bhiksham Dehi' and 'Beggar'.
With the given rumoured title to be suggested, there is speculation that Vijay Sethupathi might be playing the role of a beggar in this gritty, potentially intense drama.
The cast also includes some of the biggest names from the film fraternity. Bollywood's highly rated actress Tabu is said to be playing a key role in the film and she is also joined by Kannada actor Duniya Vijay Kumar.
Speaking of the film's production status, the makers recently wrapped up a detailed location recce across Hyderabad and Chennai. After locking in multiple shoot locations, the crew is now gearing up to begin principal photography. The regular shoot is expected to commence in the last week of June.

About Tere Ishk Mein If the promotional material is anything to go by, Tere Ishk Mein seems to be an intense drama. In June 2023, Aanand announced that he would be teaming up with Dhanush again after Ranjhanaa. Dhanush's look from the film also saw him in a similar mode with long hair. In January this year, Kriti's character from the film was introduced. Talking to PTI about the film, Aanand had said, 'It is from the world of Raanjhanaa, but is it Raanjhanaa 2? No, it is not. The film received mixed reviews, and the director recently revealed a surprising detail about his initial casting choices. During an interview with iDream, Phanindra shared that he had initially envisioned '8 Vasantalu' with two of Indian cinema's biggest stars, Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone and Tamil star Suriya , in the lead roles. "I wanted to make the movie '8 Vasanthalu' with adults," he shared. "I wrote it keeping Suriya and Deepika Padukone in mind. That's why the dialogues are so strong."
