Kolkata: The West Bengal Junior Doctors' Front (WBJDF), which spearheaded the RG Kar movement, has planned out programmes for Aug 8 and 9 to mark the one year of the rape and murder of their 31-year-old colleague. The organisation has clearly stated it will not be part of the 'Nabanna Abhiyan', announced by BJP MLA Suvendu Adhikari, in which the victim's parents are scheduled to participate. "We will not participate in the Nabanna Abhiyan as we feel it is a political move. Our question to BJP's Leader of Opposition is, while the state govt failed to ensure justice for Abhaya, why is he not raising questions against the CBI, which is a central govt agency that has also failed to procure justice for our colleague?" said Debasish Halder of WBJDF.
