AP CM Naidu to attend Green Hydrogen Summit at SRM University

GUNTUR: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is set to attend the Green Hydrogen - 2025 Summit at the APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium at SRM University, in Neerukonda village of Mangalagiri mandal on July 18.
In preparation for the event, Guntur District Collector S Nagalakshmi, SP Satish Kumar, Joint Collector A Bhargav Tej, and Tenali Sub-Collector Sanjana Simha visited the venue on Thursday morning to review arrangements. They inspected seating arrangements, the public address system, and the media gallery at the summit venue.
They also reviewed sound system setups for a planned interactive session between the CM and students on the university's third floor, providing suggestions for improvements. The team later toured the administrative block and advised officials to coordinate with university authorities to ensure the program's success.

VIJAYAWADA: In a bid to attract large-scale investments and promote 'Brand Andhra Pradesh', Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has embarked on a five-day visit to Singapore. He departed from Hyderabad at 11:15 pm on Saturday and arrived at Changi Airport at 6:25 am on Sunday. During his visit, the Chief Minister will engage with Singaporean industrialists, investors, and government officials, accompanied by HRD and IT Minister Nara Lokesh; Industries, Food Processing and Commerce Minister TG Bharath; Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P Narayana, and senior bureaucrats. His itinerary includes meetings, site visits, and participation in key forums aimed at fostering international partnerships. On Day 1, Naidu will attend the Telugu Diaspora from South East Asia event at the OAVIS Auditorium, organised by the Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRT). The event is expected to draw around 1,500 delegates, including entrepreneurs and professionals from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand. Discussions will centre on global employment opportunities for AP youth, NRI-driven exports, and skill development. From this platform, Naidu will also invite Telugu industrialists and NRIs to support the State's Zero Poverty Mission through the P4 initiative. Soon after arrival, the Chief Minister will meet Indian High Commissioner Shilpak Ambule, followed by discussions with Surbana Jurong and Eversendai Engineering Chairman Tan Sri Dato AK Nathan. In the evening, he will attend a formal dinner hosted by the High Commissioner.

Markapur: Endowments and Prakasam District in-charge Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy informed that Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has specially introduced the P4 programme with the goal of creating a poverty-free society, and called for everyone to participate in achieving the Chief Minister's vision. The government conducted a special review meeting on the P4 programme with district officials at Markapur on Saturday. Along with the in-charge minister, the meeting was attended by the Social Welfare Minister, Dr Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy, MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, district collector A Thameem Ansariya, several MLAs, Tourism Corporation Chairman Nukasani Balaji, and other senior officials. Speaking at the meeting, Minister Ramanarayana Reddy explained that the Vision Action Plan for Swarnandhra-2047 includes ten principles, with poverty eradication being one of them. Under the P4 scheme, the top 10 per cent of society's economically advanced population will provide various forms of assistance to help the bottom 20 per cent of families overcome poverty. He explained that the programme involves mentors providing guidance in education, livelihood creation, and healthcare for chronic illnesses, as well as ensuring that families receive eligible government welfare benefits. The collector reported that 74911 Golden Families have been identified in the district. So far, 5434 mentors have come forward and adopted 31367 families. The administration aims to identify mentors for all families by August 15th. Minister Swami emphasised that mentors should be identified to empower every poor family, stating that by 2047, there should be no poverty in the state as per the Chief Minister's vision. MP Magunta suggested encouraging mentors through CSR funds as well. The MLAs and TDP in-charges pledged to work in coordination with officials to make the P4 programme successful in creating a poverty-free society.

Additionally, Naidu and his team will address strategies to enhance exports from Andhra Pradesh and promote skill development to increase job opportunities for the youth. The delegation will also undertake visits to various infrastructural and logistical facilities, including sports complexes and ports, to assess potential collaborations and investments.
