Round 5 of the Pro Motocross season can be seen live on NBC at 1:00 p.m.
Jett Lawrence is the defending winner at The Wick 338 in Southwick, Massachusetts, and the only rider to score an overall victory in 2025, but after a week of rest, Eli Tomac and Hunter Lawrence hope to close the competitive gap.
Five riders have swept the top five in the first four rounds of 2025 with Aaron Plessinger and Justin Cooper showing remarkable speed early. A mistake by Jett could provide a new winner this week.
In the 250 division, Haiden Deegan has won three of four rounds as the only rider to seriously challenge him, Chance Hymas, has departed from the roster with a knee injury.

Prayers Pouring In After Motocross Star Dies At 16

Prayers Pouring In After Motocross Star Dies At 16 originally appeared on The Spun. Prayers are pouring in after a motocross star died in an accident at 16 years old this weekend. Aidan Zingg, a 16-year-old racer from California, died in a race on Saturday, June 28. MX Sports confirmed the tragic news over the weekend. The amateur motocross community suffered a devastating loss this past weekend on Saturday, June 28, and the entire MX Sports racing family is extremely saddened by the loss of Aidan Zingg, age 16, from Hemet, California. Recently, Aidan had qualified for his seventh-straight year to compete in the most prestigious amateur motocross event in the world, the AMA Amateur Motocross National Championship, held at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. Aidan first competed at The Ranch in 2019, and every year since then. In 2024 Aidan earned his first-ever AMA National Championship in the Supermini 2 (13-16) class and earned second in the Supermini 1 (12-15) class. Aidan, who has been known for his determination and outstanding talent, had just signed with Team Green Kawasaki for the 2025 racing season and was set to make a major impact as he made the move to the 'B' classes and Schoolboy 2 class at Loretta's. Tributes for Zingg are pouring in on social media over the weekend. "This sport can be so cruel sometimes… My heart is broken for the Zingg family upon hearing such awful news. I've known Aidan since he was on 50s. He was a young man with a lot of talent and dedication. My prayers go out to your family. Too young, too soon. 2009-2025 🕊️," one fan wrote. "Our deepest condolences go out to the Zingg family following the tragic loss of Aidan Zingg, a talented young Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green amateur prospect. Godspeed, Aidan Zingg | 2009–2025 🙏," one fan added. "Honestly at a loss for words hearing about Aidan Zingg passing today. It took me out of it here at Southwick as soon as I heard and I still just can't believe it. My heart hurts for his family and friends. The moto community lost a genuinely good kid. May he rest in peace 🙏," one fan added. Our thoughts are with his friends and family members during this difficult time.
