BST Hyde Park's final day cancelled as Jeff Lynne's ELO pulls out of headline slot
Lynne, 77, was due to play alongside his band on Sunday but has been forced to withdraw from the event following a "systemic infection".
The London show was supposed to be a "final goodbye" from ELO following their farewell US tour.
Organisers said on Saturday that Lynne was "heartbroken" at being unable to perform.
A statement read: "Jeff has been battling a systemic infection and is currently in the care of a team of doctors who have advised him that performing is simply not possible at this time nor will he be able to reschedule.
"The legacy of the band and his longtime fans are foremost in Jeff's mind today - and while he is so sorry that he cannot perform, he knows that he must focus on his health and rehabilitation at this time."
They later confirmed the whole of Sunday's event would be cancelled.
"Ticket holders will be refunded and contacted directly by their ticket agent with further details," another statement said.
Stevie Wonder played the festival on Saturday - now its final event of 2025.

US rock band The Doobie Brothers and blues rock singer Steve Winwood were among those who had been due to perform to before ELO's headline performance.
The cancellation comes after the band, best known for their hit Mr Blue Sky, pulled out of a performance due to take place at Manchester's Co-Op Live Arena on Thursday.
ELO was formed in Birmingham in 1970 by Lynne, multi-instrumentalist Roy Wood and drummer Bev Bevan.
They first split in 1986, before frontman Lynne resurrected the band in 2014.

Sources Say Charli XCX and George Daniel Are Having a Party Wedding in Italy This Summer
Charli XCX and her fiance, The 1975 drummer George Daniel, are gearing up to make it official this summer! According to The Sun, the couple are planning to exchange vows in Sicily and are sparing no expense with a "six figure" budget. "Charli and George fell in love with Sicily and knew they wanted to get married there," a source says. "It's incredibly secluded and romantic. There will be no expense spared. It's costing tens of thousands of pounds and visually it will be mesmerizing. Charli and George said they wanted a massive party and there are no restrictions on when the bar has to close, so it can go on all night." The source adds that "They have both had such a busy summer with massive shows, but from mid-August they're able to slow down and focus on their big day. It's going to be pretty star-studded too, with plenty of their celeb mates making the journey over to Sicily to watch them say 'I do.' Charli and George are so excited to become man and wife." An insider previously told the outlet back in June that "They've found a venue that they think is perfect for their unique style of wedding, which won't exactly be traditional. The main aim is to have everyone they love come together, and obviously, there are plenty of people who are desperate for an invite." FYI, Charli spoke about her wedding plans to The Howard Stern Show in October of last year, saying (via Just Jared) "We are kind of like planning it slowly. I don't know. It's like, we're both very like chill and we kind of just wanna have a party. It's our vibe. Like neither of us are particularly formal about like marriage, I guess, or care about the formalities of like the ceremony or whatever. We just like wanna be together forever and have a party with our friends, is our vibe. So that's kind of like what we're aiming for wedding wise." Patsy Kensit breaks shoulder in three places
Patsy Kensit has broken her shoulder in "three places". The actress - who was previously married to Oasis star Liam Gallagher - has revealed she suffered a nasty accident in June which left her in need of medical treatment, but she's now "healing" and is hoping a holiday with friends will help her recovery. In a post on Instagram, she wrote: "I broke my shoulder in 3 places 3 weeks ago!!! I'm healing and a slight boogie with my besties I'm staying with this week will be a tonic for sure ... Have a great weekend." Patsy was seen with her arm in a sling as she attended a performance of Fawlty Towers The Play in London's West End on Thursday evening (03.07.25) just 24 hours before her ex Liam was due to take to the stage for his first gig on the Oasis Live '25 Tour at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on Friday (04.07.25). Patsy revealed the former couple's son Lennon will be at the first reunion gig, but she won't be attending. During an interview shown on ITV show Good Morning Britain, Patsy explained: "My 24-year-old son is gonna be there, and gonna have a lovely time, great for him to see all of that. I'm happy for his dad, I think it's a wonderful thing, but I won't be attending ... "I think I've said enough now about that. I send only love and light." Lennon, who was just nine years old when Oasis split in 2009 - has admitted he's going to go to as many tour dates as possible. He added to W magazine: "I can't wait. It's a massive, monumental thing, and it's going to be fantastic." Noel Gallagher's daughter Anais, also 25, will be photographing the Oasis tour and she's admitted she barely remembers their performances when she was a child as she was more interested in the sweet treats they kept backstage. She added to W: "I have memories of being super young at shows and falling asleep with ear defenders on ... The only thing I cared about was how many packets of Milky Way chocolate stars were in the dressing room." The Oasis Live '25 Tour starts in the UK in Cardiff on July 4 and will head to North America, South Korea, Japan, Australia and South America, where it will conclude in Sao Paulo, Brazil on November 25.

The Couture Challenge—It Was a Face-Off of Extremes on the Streets at the Fall 2025 Shows
Do opposites attract? Couture might be all about glamour and glitz on the runway, but that's not the whole story. Take Pierpaolo Piccioli, who showed up at Demna's final Balenciaga show on the back of a motorcycle in dad sneakers. Or consider Sofia Coppola, who proves that you can in fact wear a pair of simple white jeans to sit front-row at Chanel. But of course couture isn't couture without some opulence, of the kind that Cardi B. delivered at Schiaparelli and Lisa Rinna gave at Balenciaga. Below we've rounded up the extremes of street style at the fall 2025 couture shows in Paris. Round 1: Jeans or Couture? Are you more Sofia C or Cardi B?
