"Works of these 44 power transmission substations will be completed within two years. Although there is no power problem at present, supply is becoming a problem due to lack of infrastructure. The number of power transmission substations is being increased to overcome this problem," he said.

The police said they have filed a case following the clash that broke out in Khowai district. Political analysts said the incident indicated the growing strain in the relationship between the two allies in Tripura. "I have no idea, but local people know who attacked first.
