Police arrest man who allegedly stole Calgary Transit shuttle
A man is facing charges after he allegedly stolen a Calgary Transit shuttle late Monday night.
Police say at about 10:41 p.m. someone got onto the unoccupied vehicle, which was parked at 90 Avenue and 14 Street S.W., and drove away.
Officials say the bus was found eight minutes later at 24 Street and Oakfield Drive S.W.
A man was arrested without incident.
Police say there was no damage to the bus or other property as a result of the incident.

30-year-old Toronto man charged with break-ins, harassment, and threats
30-year-old Peter Nowaczek, of Toronto who police say is wanted for multiple offences. (TPS photos). Toronto police say they have arrested a man following a series of break-ins, threats, and assaults in the city's east end. It's reported that on Saturday, officers received a call at around 11:30 a.m. near Queen Street East and Broadview Avenue. Police allege that a man known to the victim unlawfully entered an apartment on three separate occasions, stealing property and subjecting the victim to threats, harassment, and assault before fleeing. The suspect, who police identify as 30-year-old Peter Nowaczek, of Toronto is now charged with multiple offences, including two counts of break and enter with intent, one count of break and enter to commit and theft under $5,000 in addition to several other charges. He is scheduled to appear at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre on Monday. Anyone with additional information is asked to come forward or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously.

Police searching for stolen electric bike
A bike that was reportedly stolen in Midland, Ont., between Tues., June 24 and Wed., June 25, 2025. Provincial police are appealing to the public in their search for an electric bike that was reportedly stolen from a café in the downtown area of Midland this past week. According to Southern Georgian Bay OPP, the red Daymark electric bike was stolen outside the King Street café overnight between this past Tuesday and Wednesday. The bike's vehicle identification number GREEN202101090028 was shared in a social media post by Southern Georgian Bay OPP. Police are asking anyone with information regarding its whereabouts or possible suspects to contact Crime Stoppers of Simcoe Dufferin Muskoka.
