4 arrested in Bhilwara for assault and setting pickup truck on fire
BHILWARA: The Mandal police in Bhilwara district arrested four suspects on Monday in connection with setting a pickup truck on fire. Recently, 10-15 youths, claiming to be members of a cow protection group, were involved in the incident.
Mandal Station Officer Rajpal Singh stated that on May 24, a 36-year-old named Nahar Khan, son of Shaukat Khan, filed a report at Mandal police station. He reported that on May 23 at noon, he and Raju Lohar, along with his brother in a loading tempo, went to Sihana in the Hamirgarh police station area to buy cows. They loaded two Jersey cows and a calf in his pickup, while his brother Iqbal loaded two Rathi breed cows in the tempo.
Upon reaching Mandal crossroads, 10-15 youths claiming to be cow protectors stopped them and took them to the Mandal crossroads police post. After confirming their purchase with the cattle owner, the police released them.
However, near Shahpura crossroads, the group stopped them again, assaulted them, and seized the pickup truck. They unloaded the cows and calf from the pickup and set the vehicle on fire.
Based on the report, CCTV footage, BTS technical assistance, and information, four suspects were arrested in connection with the assault and setting the pickup truck on fire.

Speaking about the housebreaking on the day of Jungkook's military discharge, they added, "A police investigation is underway regarding the recent incident of an attempted break-in at a BTS member's home. We are actively cooperating with the police by collecting and submitting evidence based on CCTV footage and other sources in order to ensure that the intruder receives appropriate criminal punishment." More misconduct in the form of following the artists to their homes or on personal schedules has been reported against the agency, sharing, "We immediately file police reports to ensure that the perpetrators can be arrested in the act, and we also file applications for restraining orders. We will continue to take a firm stance against any actions that threaten the safety of our artists, with no leniency extended to the offenders. Titled 'Request to restrict SUGA's appearance in relation to his DUI fine,' the petition references an incident from August 6, 2024, during which SUGA, while serving as a social service agent, was caught operating an electric scooter under the influence. His blood alcohol level reportedly exceeded 0.08% — enough to warrant license revocation under South Korean law. He was later fined 15 million KRW approximately $11,000 via a summary order issued in September 2024. As reported by allkpop, the petitioner argued that drunk driving is a 'serious offense that can directly endanger others,' and expressed concern over the potential message SUGA's presence on television could send to younger audiences. 'As a public figure with considerable influence over young people, SUGA's continued appearances on television could weaken public awareness of the gravity of DUI crimes,' the petition stated. The petitioner also noted that while KBS had not addressed the matter earlier due to the ongoing investigation, the legal process has since concluded, with the fine finalised on September 27, 2024.
