Zoë Kravitz in Talks to Direct Movie "How To Save A Marriage"

Following her directorial debut on "Blink Twice", Zoë Kravitz looks to have found her next gig.
Kravitz is in talks to direct "How to Save a Marriage" for Sony Pictures.
Ross Evans penned the script, and Robert Pattinson is producing with partner Brighton McCloskey via their Icki Eneo Arlo banner along with Geoff Shaevitz and Evan Silverberg via Entertainment 360.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, and studio sources say the project is still in early development. Evans will also exec produce.
As of now, Pattinson, who starred with Kravitz in 2022's "The Batman", is only producing the pic.
Sony is high on the project and was aggressive in pursuing it when it hit the market last year.
The deal marked a huge sale to a major studio for Evans and at the time showed studios' interest in high-profile packages following the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
While plot details are unknown, sources say Marriage has edgy undertones similar to "Blink Twice" that made that film work, and helped inform the execs' decision to tap Kravitz as director.
While still busy on the acting front, she showcased her helming talent with the thriller, released in August 2024 and starring Naomi Ackie and Channing Tatum.
The Amazon MGM Studios film earned strong reviews and put Kravitz on the map as a director.
On the acting front, Kravitz can be seen next opposite Austin Butler in the Darren Aronofsky thriller "Caught Stealing", which bows this fall.

Michael Douglas Quits Acting at 80

Yara Sameh Michael Douglas, who is at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival to present a newly restored print of Miloš Forman's classic 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest,' — which he won an Oscar for as a producer on the 1970 classic — opened up about his future plans as an actor. The 80-year-old revealed that while he's not officially retired from acting, he has 'no real intentions' of returning to the big screen. 'I have not worked since 2022 purposefully because I realized I had to stop,' Douglas said. 'I had been working pretty hard for almost 60 years, and I did not want to be one of those people who dropped dead on the set. I have no real intentions of going back. I say I'm not retired because if something special came up, I'd go back, but otherwise, no.' Douglas last appeared on the big screen in 2023's "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" and starred in 2024's "Franklin", an Apple TV+ biographical series about Ben Franklin. The projects finished filming three years ago, and Douglas hasn't worked in front of the camera since. The actor did hint at 'one little independent movie' that he is 'trying to get a good script out of,' but besides that project, he has no other plans to return to films, and is 'happy to play the wife' to Catherine Zeta-Jones. 'I am happy for Catherine to go to work – and she is very busy,' he said. The topic of Douglas' future came up after he discussed his battle with tongue cancer, pointing out his course of action allowed him another decade of roles. 'Stage 4 cancer is not a holiday, but there aren't many choices, are there? I went with the program, involving chemo and radiation, and was fortunate,' he noted, adding that his friend and actor Larry Hagman died from a similar diagnosis. 'The surgery would have meant not being able to talk and removing part of my jaw, and that would have been limiting as an actor.' read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks News "Tensions Escalate: Iran Probes Allegations of Indian Tech Collaboration with Israeli Intelligence" Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean
