Seamer Sanderson extends Northants deal to 2027
Sanderson began his career at Yorkshire but, after being released, developed his game in National Counties cricket before Northants gave him a second chance as a professional in 2015.He helped Northants win the T20 Blast in 2016 and is currently the leading wicket taker in this season's competition with 21, helping his county top the North Group.Altogether, over his career, Sanderson has taken 416 first-class wickets at an average of only 22."We've got a great group here, everyone's eager to learn and there's a real hunger to succeed among the lads," Sanderson said."I've loved my time here, it's a great place for me to play my cricket and I'll continue to enjoy it over the next couple of years."
