The official announcement of Hera Pheri 3 cheered all cinegoers as they were excited to see the iconic characters of Raju (Akshay Kumar), Shyam (Suniel Shetty) and Baburao (Paresh Rawal) on the big screen. However, the sudden exit of the latter shocked and disappointed everyone.
Rawal has now revealed in an interview he's back on board. The actor revealed, 'There's no controversy. I believe that when people have loved something so much, then you have to be extra careful. It is our responsibility toward the audience.'

He added, 'The audience has given you so much adulation. You can't take things for granted. Mehnat karke unko (film) do.'
Rawal continued, 'Pehle bhi aane hi waali thi but it's just that we had to fine-tune ourselves (laughs). After all, all of them are creative, be it Priyadarshan, Akshay or Suniel. They are friends for many, many, many years.'
Priyadarshan, who was supposed to direct Hera Pheri 3 , revealed that Akshay Kumar had tears in his eyes when he came to know about Paresh Rawal's exit.

In an interview with Mid-day, the director also revealed, 'Akshay bought the entire rights of the Hera Pheri franchise for Rs 10 crore from Firoz Nadiadwala, who had produced the first two [parts]. This is not just for Hera Pheri 3 but the entire franchise. I know this as I have seen the paperwork for it.'

I have been working with him for the last 32 years. We are very good friends. He's a great actor. I really admire him. I don't think this is a place where I am going to talk about it because… it's a very serious matter. It is a matter which is going to be handled by the courts. Kuberaa Box Office Collections: Dhanush starrer falters after good weekend, crawls near 125cr worldwide
Kuberaa witnessed a steep drop in its second weekend, collecting just Rs. 12 crore approx at the Indian box office. That takes its total box office gross in India to Rs. 91.50 crore approx, with another Rs. 30 crore (USD 3.50 million) from overseas markets, the worldwide gross stands at Rs. 122 crore approx. The film had a promising first weekend with an excellent trend, but it had an ordinary drop on Monday and then weekdays saw further drops. The way the film dropped on weekdays, it seemed it would be lights out in the second weekend, with competition arriving. However, the weekend did saw business stabilising a bit, but the damage was already done on days prior. Same time last week, the film was looking to be a much-needed HIT for the Telugu film industry, with a Rs. 150 crore plus worldwide final, but now it will barely scrape over the Rs. 125 crore mark.
