Israel Pursues 'Hind Rajab' Foundation for Exposing its Atrocities
This follows the foundation's success in filing criminal cases against Israeli soldiers and officers accused of committing war crimes against Palestinian civilians, especially in the Gaza Strip.
This escalation comes amid mounting international pressure on Israel and an increase in legal proceedings in global courts, as the foundation works to present evidence indicting Israeli military leaders and officials for crimes of genocide and crimes against humanity.
The foundation was named after the child Hind Rajab, who was martyred along with six members of her family in a massacre committed by Israeli occupation forces on January 29, 2024, when their car was bombed in southwest Gaza City. This atrocity was one of thousands of massacres that have led to the deaths of over 57,000 Palestinians during Israel's recent aggression on Gaza.
According to official sources within the foundation, the Israeli government issued a sanctions list targeting fifty prominent individuals affiliated with the Hind Rajab Foundation, including its president Diab Abu Jahjah, two of its co-founders, and three senior lawyers.
These sanctions aim to pressure the foundation into halting its legal activities by freezing assets, imposing travel bans, and tightening restrictions on activists and legal professionals working with the organization.
In a statement, the foundation said that Israeli actions demonstrate its deep concern over the legal cases being prepared, adding that a coordinated media campaign is being planned to discredit the foundation and sow doubt about its credibility, particularly within certain Western circles.
Founded in February 2024 and based in Brussels, the Hind Rajab Foundation is one of the leading legal organizations working to collect evidence and file formal complaints against Israeli soldiers and officers in international courts. It accuses them of committing war crimes, genocide, and destruction of Palestinian infrastructure, particularly in Gaza.
In November 2024, the foundation submitted an official document to the International Criminal Court (ICC) requesting arrest warrants for 1,000 Israeli soldiers and officers, based on over 8,000 pieces of evidence documenting crimes committed since the start of the war on Gaza.
The foundation has also pursued Israeli soldiers during their stays in countries such as the Netherlands, the UAE, Brazil, and Sri Lanka, forcing Israel to secretly evacuate one soldier from Sri Lanka back to the occupied territories in December 2024 after a case was filed against him for killing and participating in systematic bombardments.
Ziad Al-Aloul, a member of the International Committee to Break the Siege on Gaza, said that Israel's attempts to classify the foundation as a 'terrorist organization' have no legal standing, affirming that the foundation operates within European legal frameworks and enjoys official support from several European nations.
Al-Aloul described the Hind Rajab Foundation as a strategic threat to Israel, noting that a file containing the names of 1,000 military officials represents a direct threat to their freedom of movement, limiting their ability to travel or take part in international events.
He also revealed that Israel has allocated a special budget to target the foundation and its staff, in a move reminiscent of the U.S. campaign against ICC employees.
Despite threats and sanctions, the Hind Rajab Foundation has affirmed its unwavering commitment to pursuing justice and exposing Israeli war crimes. The foundation emphasized that its strong popular and legal support in Europe and around the world is too vast for any entity to silence it.

UNICEF: Killing of 7 Children in Gaza While Waiting for Water is Terrible
DaysofPal-The Executive Director of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Catherine Russell, has expressed deep shock over the killing of seven Palestinian children in an airstrike that targeted a water distribution point in central Gaza, while the children were waiting to collect water. According to UN reports, the incident occurred on Sunday, July 13, 2025. Also, it resulted in the deaths of four other individuals, making it one of the deadliest attacks on civilians in recent weeks. In an official statement, Russell described the attack as 'a painful reminder that there is no safe place for children in Gaza.' He called on the Israeli government to urgently review its rules of engagement to ensure the protection of civilians under international humanitarian law. She added that the tragedy came just days after a similar incident in which children and women were killed while waiting for food aid. Russell highlighted that the attack underscores the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, particularly amid a sharp rise in cases of acute child malnutrition. More than 5,800 children were diagnosed in June alone, over 1,000 of whom are in urgent need of therapeutic care. Gaza residents are also facing a severe water crisis after the main desalination plant went offline, forcing families to rely on unsecured water distribution points, often in areas vulnerable to attacks. The UNICEF chief urged the Israeli occupation and the international community to launch a comprehensive and independent investigation into the attack, immediately revise rules of engagement that have led to civilian deaths, and fully comply with international humanitarian law, especially regarding the protection of children in conflict zones. UN data indicates that nearly 800 people, most of them women and children, have been killed since the end of May while trying to access food aid in Gaza, amid worsening security conditions that have severely hampered the delivery of humanitarian supplies. In concluding her statement, Russell warned that continued violations without accountability 'will lead to catastrophic consequences for children in Gaza,' calling for 'immediate and effective action by all relevant parties.' 20 Civilians Killed by Israeli Toxic Gas at Aid Distribution Center in Rafah
DaysofPal-The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) killed at least 20 Palestinian civilians, most of them children, and injured dozens more on Wednesday morning after firing teargas canisters at the starving crowds while they were waiting for humanitarian aid near the American aid distribution center in Al-Teenah Street, northwest of Rafah city, in southern Gaza. Medical sources confirmed that at least 20 people were killed at the scene, while many others were transported to makeshift hospitals amid a severe shortage of medical supplies. The death toll is expected to rise. Eyewitnesses reported that American soldiers stationed at the main gate of the aid center deliberately closed the gate as thousands of civilians arrived and then began firing large amounts of toxic and tear gas, causing mass suffocation, particularly among women and children. According to the Government Media Office in Gaza, the total number of victims near what it described as 'death traps', referring to the American-Israeli aid centers, has now reached 805 martyrs, 5,252 injured, and 42 missing persons. This incident comes as part of the ongoing genocidal war waged by the Israeli army on Gaza, now in its 649th consecutive day, marked by systematic targeting of displaced families, starving civilians, and those seeking humanitarian assistance, especially children and women. The siege on Gaza has continued for over four months, amid international silence and U.S. support. Shortlink for this post:

Israeli Massacre in Al-Shati Camp kills, injures 35 Civilians
DaysofPal- Israeli occupation forces committed a new massacre in Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, killing more than ten people, including five children, and injuring at least 25 others, in a wave of intense and targeted airstrikes launched in the past hour. Medical sources reported that one of the attacks targeted a crowded area near the main market in Al-Shati camp, where a group of civilians was bombed, resulting in at least ten fatalities and dozens of injuries, some of them critical. Another airstrike targeted a residential apartment in the 'Al-Haramain Building' on Al-Danaf Street in the southern part of the camp, killing at least three children in what residents described as a 'complete family massacre.' A third strike hit an empty apartment near the Al-Ahrar headquarters in the northern part of the camp. No injuries were reported in that incident. According to Gaza's Ministry of Health, the death toll since dawn has risen to 54, with 42 of the victims killed in Gaza City alone, marking one of the bloodiest days since the military offensive resumed. The Gaza Strip, especially Gaza City and its refugee camps, is witnessing an unprecedented escalation in air and artillery strikes, further deteriorating the humanitarian situation and deepening the suffering of besieged civilians.
